“My boyfriend and I loved staying here! We came up for a long weekend; the cottage is an easy walk to the bars, restaurants, and shops, and only 20 minutes driving to Governor Dodge State Park. Christina keeps this beautiful older cottage in fantastic shape, and had thoughtful touches all over the house, including tons of information/ books on Mineral Point, and a little stationary station to write letters. We loved sitting on the porch at night, and made use of the grill and fire-pit provided. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some, too. Can’t wait to go back!”

“Richard's place is really charming! It's fantastic that there's a cafe and restaurant on the first floor. We loved having WiFi, Netflix and Amazon Prime available. It's located right in the middle of downtown Mineral Point, with cute shops, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance. Whether you're coming in the summer to check out the town, or looking for a winter getaway, Richard's place is perfect for a long weekend.”

“This cottage is lovely, clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. It is about a half mile from downtown and right across from a park. It is an older, charming house, but do expect steep stairs up to the front door and up to the third bedroom upstairs. We had no issues with steep stairs but some people might. The hot water was great, never ran out for our group of three. Nice dishes, glasses, coffee cups, wine glasses, utensils, pots and pans are all available. There’s a good sized living room with a comfortable couch and chairs. We had wine and conversation well into the night in that space. Very, very quiet as well. I would definitely stay there again!”
