Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Milwaukee County

We were in town for a wedding and Juneau Village was the perfect choice for us. The church was only 2 blocks away and the reception was about 5 so we could walk to both. Although we explored the downtown area by car the free HOP transit line is close by Juneau Village and a great option. The kitchen was very clean and equipped with all the basics. It was nice having coffee provided to brew. I liked all the windows to let in sunshine and to enjoy the view. The bed and linens were comfy. We liked the security of the building and offstreet parking spots for our vehicle. Although we didn't have time to relax by the pool it looked nice. The hotels downtown Milwaukee were expensive (and booked) so we felt this unit was a good value and convenient for us.

The only suggestion that I’m would advise is to get softer towels.

Great rental in an awesome location. The unit has everything you might need for a quick stay, and the host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Parking was convenient and the place is walkable to great restaurants and bars. The rental is quiet with a good view. I hope to visit again soon!

This was a unique and well-equipped apartment with several non-traditional amenities, including access to pickleball courts. A great spot for anyone looking for something a little different and fun!

Julie Ann and her accommodations are first rate. She was so responsive and detailed in her communications, and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and informed. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, and we loved having the separate apartments for ourselves and for our daughter and, now, son-in-law. Our daughter was so thrilled with our apartment that she opted to have her wedding-prep glam and photography done there instead of their suite at The Iron Horse. That, in itself, speaks volumes about the vibe of the space. We are so grateful to you, Julie Ann. This is our second stay at one of Abdimalik’s units. The apartment is very convenient for us and a coffee house just opened downstairs. We were attending a graduation at Fiserv and it was very close to everything we were planning to do. Would definitely stay again.

I've attended the Wire Expo show show in downtown Milwaukee for the past 20 years booking hotels. I booked Jays apartment this year as I was late reserving a hotel and I'm so glad I did. Its located downtown within walking distance of the convention Center along with the restaurants and bars that I usually visit. The apartment was clean and is located in a secure section of the building that is locked and private. I'm hoping not many people read the reviews so its doesn't get booked for next years convention. Thanks for the great stay.

Host was very responsive. The house was perfect for what we needed

We really enjoyed our stay. Denise was communicative and everything was easy. The house is beautiful. Its on a quiet street with lovely neighbors. Its directly off bike/walking trails, whis is why we chose it. The house is right off of the highway but it was never intrusive. We hung out at the fire pit and it was honestly just quiet background noise. The kitchen is perfect and had everything we needed and wanted. We cooked simple meals and everything was easy. The bed in the main bedroom was so comfy, all the linens and towels were plush. The hot tub was such a nice luxury. We were about 18-20 minutes from every restaurant we tried. Denise was super flexible about our timing, which we really appreciated. All in all it was a great experience and a place we would return.

This past weekend was amazing at this place. They were so on top of everything, communication was great, and the house is huge! There’s cute spots all around the area of the home, good sized rooms. All in all, i loved staying here, and Scott & Carrie were amazing hosts! I’d definitely stay again.

Lauriel was very accommodating when we needed to add extra people on short notice, the house was beautiful and definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Great place to stay. Great for family. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Quiet neighborhood. Close enough to Milwaukee to go to attractions, but far enough away to get away from the bussle of the city traffic. Will definitely look to stay here again when we are back in the area.

Lovely ground floor unit in a charming, historic house. Amy was very responsive and accommodating, allowing us a late check-out. Very clean, comfortable and just like the pictures. We were in town for March Madness games at Fiserve Forum and it was easily walkable along the river front path, also easily walkable to the grocery store just across the bridge. Thank you for a great stay!

Melisa’s home perfectly fit our needs while in town for a family graduation. The basement activities kept our teenage boys entertained. We felt very relaxed and were able to enjoy family time cooking & visiting together in this home. Safe and peaceful neighborhood.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights. The house was clean and exactly as described. The location was close (within a 15 minute drive) to everything we visited (Pabst Theater, Wisconsin State Fair, and The Oriental Theatre). The beds were comfortable. We loved having off-street parking. We would definitely recommend this property while staying in Milwaukee!
