Super modern lake front property on Hyco Lake! I grew up vacationing on Hyco Lake as a child into my adult life and now love sharing those same experiences with my guests! This older family home is located in Semora on our family's farm. The home is very secluded and private on a beautiful road. VIR (Virginia International Raceway) is only a 12 minute drive away. Hyco Lake is an 11 minute drive. This makes us perfectly situated between two popular vacation spots. We are about 12 minutes from Milton and 20 minutes from Yanceyville and Roxboro where you can find shopping and restaurants. **Please note this is a very rural home. We do not do long term renters.

This historic house was a great retreat and provided a nice place to relax and central to the restaurants of Milton, NC. The house is extremely well kept, and the restoration of this historic home was well done and beautifully decorated. The house met our needs with three private bedrooms and private bathrooms with plenty of space to relax with two sitting rooms and a beautiful dining room, although we ate in the kitchen. The hosts were very responsive to any questions and provide nice amenities and fully stocked kitchen with cookware, plates, coffee and other cooking supplies. I will definitely be keeping this on my list for the next time I visit the area.

We had a great stay at this adorable Airbnb while visiting family in town. The place had such a charming, rustic vibe, but was still super comfortable for our whole family. It had everything we needed and felt like a cozy home away from home. We truly enjoyed our time here and we will definitely be booking again the next time we’re in town!

We had one of our best family vacations ever at Scotts home on Hyco Lake. Our four teens went from fishing to pickle ball, to movie nights, dinner on the back porch, and then repeated it all. The beds were all soft and we had great nigbts sleep. All toiliteries were supplied and we never ran out of anything. Fully stocked kitchen- I'd add another pizza pan and a large serving bowl, but thats it. Towels, sunscreen, pickle balls, paddles, life jackets- all there. We only had to leave to get worms at Ma Barkers and were able to hibernate together and connect and fellowship together. We did bring most of our groceries with us and theres a food lion close by for anything we forgot.

Martha made us feel at home not just in the house but in Danville at large. Her house is adorable! The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly yet accessible to all Danville's attractions. We even patronized Martha's lovely garden shop with our daughter, who was planting her first veggie patch. We've been to many airbnbs and this one is definitely in our top 3. We will come again.

Hyco Hideaway

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the hideaway. It was peaceful, the home was exceptionally clean, and it had everything we could ever need and more! The boathouse was so perfect with optimal shade all day and outstanding fishing, we caught a 21” catfish and many massive bass. There weren’t as many bugs as one would expect being in the woods, but we did love the screened patio and the screened room down on the dock. I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone!
