House holiday rentals in Mill Valley

The place was clean and beautiful. We needed a home away from home while construction was going on at our place. And found it here.

We cannot say enough about this place. The perfect wine-tasting weekend! Exceeded expectations all around. We will stay here again!

What a lovely house! In particular we enjoyed the expansive and fully-fenced outdoor space with our doggos and kiddos - pictures don't really quite do it justice. The pool house worked as a separate nest for the teenagers, while adults used the two bedrooms in the main building. Location is pretty perfect, with just a 5min drive to Sonoma downtown and easy access to main roads. Our host was extremely communicative, and even helped return an item we forgot at the house promptly and without delay. Hope to visit again!

The Hidden Gem is what it truly is…..a hidden gem! So beautifully decorated and furnished and so private. You are surrounded by lush greenery and complete quiet except for the birds and the rooster. What you saw on line in pictures is exactly what you got. We all enjoyed every minute. Thank you again for helping to make our niece’s graduation event so memorable. Nancy was great in her responsiveness. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

Our stay worked great for the 3 days of golfing. We were able to use the hot tub in the evening and the place had all the amenities we needed. Kitchen was well equipped and clean when we arrived. The house had lots of space to kick out and relax. It is defiantly a feel at home place and things are well kept. Nicole was always quick to respond to any question we had. Great host!

Great find in Sonoma! Well located with easy walks but in a peaceful neighborhood. Plenty of space for our four women on a girls’ trip!

Really beautiful views from every light filled room. The winding mountain road and flora along the way were a memorable part of the trip. Beds and linen were nice.

Marianne has created a beautiful oasis for guests to relax and recharge. As a fellow airbnb superhost for the past 15 years I can truly say this was the most well stocked and appointed airbnb that I have stayed in. Aspirational. 5 stars all around. We will definitely be back!

I’d recommend an upgrade to the WiFi, but short of that … the property was perfect and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

BayMod was my favorite place I have ever stayed (which is saying something as I travel a lot!). The location, amenities, cleanliness, organization of everything was spectacular! I did not want to leave! We loved sitting on the patio looking at the bay. We also really enjoyed the hottub! Truly a magical place to stay! Debra is also exceptionally nice! Can't recommend highly enough!

Trevor was a wonderful host and his unit was beautiful. If anything, the pictures do not do it justice. Trouble was also extremely accommodating with our last-minute request to book and our request to stay another day because everything was so nice. I would be happy to stay in Trevor’s place again.

This home was beautiful and inviting. We loved how private it felt and how walkable the entire area was. Really enjoyed walking to get coffee and breakfast every morning.

I can not say enough about how rejuvinating it was to stay at Matt's stunning home in Mill Valley. Our ONLY regret was that we did not stay for long enough. Matt is extremely kind, open and responsive. Waking up in the trees, taking a dip in the tub with morning coffee, and watching the deer walk by was our favorite past time. We took afternoon walks along the tree lined trail right in the back yard which was an incredible perk. Once you are there, you never truly never want to leave. The beds are extremely comfortable, water pressure is great and the home is stocked with all the amenities you might need. We stopped at Whole Foods on our way in to stock up for the first few meals --- we were so glad we did that and highly recommend. The house is located up the winding roads and then 100 stairs to climb up, but that is what makes it the spectaular experience it is. We can't wait to get back. Thank you, Matt!

Oksana’s and Lydia’s home was immaculate while feeling very comfortable! As others have said in reviews, beds are very comfy! Love the heated bathroom floor and heated towel bars. Great location to restaurants, hiking, Sausalito, Tiburon and San Francisco. Both Oksana & Lydia are exceptional communicators - replying immediately to my messages! Amy was one of the best Airbnb hosts I have ever had! She was so communicative, so accommodating, and had great recommendations for the area. Her home was exactly as described and so beautiful! If you have the opportunity to stay at her home, I would recommend renting the bottom unit as well for added space for your group (2 additional queen beds and an additional full bathroom).

Perfect location for peace and serenity! The house is spotless, kitchen was open and easy to use, and the beds are comfortable and soft. The hot tub and heated stone sofa were welcomed every morning and evening while listening to the ocean. We will be back soon!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at David’s home. The house is absolutely beautiful! It’s very thoughtfully designed with art, natural & local materials, and a deep sense of place that blends into the Mill Valley landscape. It felt like a peaceful retreat, while still being walking distance to downtown and the trails of Mount Tam. David went above and beyond as a host. He was responsive, kind, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our stay. We truly loved our time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Mill Valley!

Our stay in Mill Valley was outstanding! The home was lovely, had plenty of space and everything we could have needed. We were in town for our son’s wedding and had all the space we needed to arrange the decorations for the rehearsal dinner and plenty of bathrooms for the family to get ready in as we all had to be at the venue at the same time! No worries about stepping over each other here! The location was perfectly situated and allowed us to walk to the amphitheater where we had the wedding. David was a lovely and helpful host and we were honored to be guests in his home. Mill Valley is beautiful and staying in such a comfortable and welcoming home (filled with great art!!) was an ideal way to visit.

This was such a beautiful spot. It was even more than I expected. The additional treehouse and garden cottage were so nice and gave us all space and made the stay even more enjoyable. The host was accommodating during the booking process as well as during the stay. We will absolutely be coming back someday!

The house was very clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable although we are not used to sleeping in bedrooms without curtains or shades. Kimberly was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was in the hills close to the downtown and convenient to our son's home.

Beautiful feeling to feel like the woods were actually of your living space. wonderful to wake up to. My cat was in love with the birds and seemed super comfortable in this space. I loved it. Note* it was not clear in the description that one would have to walk down 3 flights of very steep stairs. to find the entrance to this fabulous little bungalow so if you have some luggage it's not written that you're going to have a bit of a struggle getting down there. They have 2 streets to enter from. I would ask them about that 2nd street and enter from there. Much closer and easier to enter from. especially if you are using Uber/Lyft. The kitchen was also not equipped with hand towels or sponges for dishes. I still loved being here and it's a place that others should experience staying in.
