Apartment holiday rentals in Midtown, Detroit

I stayed here Saturday-Tuesday exploring Detroit and this place was absolutely perfect! The apartment was incredibly clean. truly spotless. Casey is extremely responsive and accommodating. Very kind host! The home was just over a mile from my Amtrak train, and about a mile from the free Q LINE which takes you downtown, with stops near museums/stadiums/etc., too. I believe a few city buses pass by closer to this unit, but I did not use them. There also is a MoGo bike station less than half a mile away, in front of a hospital, which you can hop on and ride around the city, and return to a different location wherever you head to. The location was perfect for my needs, since I used the Q LINE and MoGo bikes daily. I rode the bike just over 1 mile north into the beautiful Boston-Edison Historic District. Well worth your time if you like admiring some old houses/cool architecture! There's also a handful of places to grab a bite nearby, all walkable. Thanks so much for the great stay!

Monica’s place was as described and per the photos. The space was comfortable & quiet. Monica is a great host, there if needed and made sure I was well taken care of. Astral House Wellness Retreat has my recommendation. Thank you!

Had a great stay while attending a conference in Detroit. The public bus was easy to navigate, and stops right on the corner. Great selection of restaurants close by and a terrific coffee shop. Enjoyed walking around the historic Indian Village neighborhood. Peter was super responsive and helpful when I had questions. Would happily stay again next time I'm visiting Detroit.

This home was equipped to house 2 people comfortably. Wall AC unit to make it the right temp to sleep at night. Smart TV and WiFi were in good working order. Parking is available along the other side of the street (parallel parking skills are a plus for a closer spot to the residence) Although I pack everything, I did notice there wasn’t as much “extra” stuff as I normally see when traveling thru Airbnb. I’m not throwing any hate, just as a heads up to others. No extra pillows or blankets (which is great, as it reduced clutter - it worked for us with what was provided), nothing extra in the bathroom. Loved the easy access to the city as I was in town for Brett Young!

I'm so glad we chose this airbnb for our visit to Detroit! The place was spotless, spacious, and adorably decorated! We loved the beautiful big windows and enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the terrace. Gil & Margot were super friendly and responsive every step of the way. And the location was great, in a peaceful residential area but very close to all the action. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here next time we visit Detroit!

Had a great stay, very clean and comfortable. Will be back. Low ceilings but he described that in the info. Only compliant I had is the toilet paper coulda been a little better than it was but it was minor. Great host, cool neighborhood and easy access. Five stars!

Loved our stay here! The place looks exactly like the photos and was extremely clean and quiet. It has every amenity you need and some extra touches. We stayed with our 3-year-old and 7-year-old and didn’t have a car during our four-day stay, but getting around was so easy. The People Mover is a 12-minute walk away and takes you all around downtown. We used the QLine to get to the DIA and took the bus to the Adventure Center. We even walked around Corktown and made it to Eastern Market—though that walk was a bit far with a 3-year-old.

Tierra saved us! She was quick to respond and approve our request, which was such a relief - we were coming from an Airbnb horror story and needed a place to stay fast. Tierra was a fantastic host: communicative, kind, and thoughtful. The unit was clean, very comfortable, and surrounded by greenery - a refreshing contrast to the booming music of Movement weekend. We felt right at home. Highly recommend staying here. You’ll love the shower!

This was one of the cutest Airbnbs we have stayed in (and there have been many). It's located a short drive to downtown and the museum district, was quiet, clean, generously sized and the decor is great — there is also off road, gated parking. Paul was considerate, checked in with us often to make sure our stay was going well and he provided clear and concise entry instructions — we had zero complications. The bedroom gets bright early (bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in), but we didn't mind because it got us out of bed — there's a lot to do in Detroit! Really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay in this location again.

We booked this apartment as we were going to a concert at Masonic Temple. We could not have picked a better place or location. The apartment was spotless and had everything that we needed. The gated parking was also a great perk. But most importantly, Brenda was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful each time I reached out/had a question. I hope this is available during future concert dates, because we would for sure stay again.

Beautiful place!

Scott's place was a cozy little apartment in midtown. The pictures matched the place, and the bed was comfy! Cute coffee shop next door and lots of food/bars nearby. This was a good place for a couple (only bathroom was upstairs in the main "bedroom" area) so if you had anyone else staying in the bed area downstairs, they'd have to come up through the bedroom to use the bathroom. Overall great location for what we needed and we enjoyed our stay!

We will definitely stay here anytime we are in Detroit! The place is beautiful! the view from the third floor is so lovely. We had such a great time relaxing on the porch. The place was super clean and beautifully laid out. HUGE tv and comfortable bed. I think the best part was the attention to detail. So many air bnbs just feel like soulless boxes and you can tell no one has spent much time in them. Not this place! Everything you could think of has been thought through- night lights, linens, little niceties left by the host. Everything was so well thought out. The place is gorgeous! They do have a lot of notes and instructions to explain different things which some may find a little overzealous but I found charming and helpful. Mogo bike station right down the block even! Great place! Great host! We can’t wait to stay here again :)

Would definitely return. Clean, quiet, private, with everything you need. Nice area with options for food and shops in walking distance. Wayne State and Art Institute nearby. Convenient to other areas of interest in city via short ride.

The view was amazing! Brandon was an amazing host! this place is a MUST to book with lost of to do near downtown.

We really enjoyed our 4 days at Dana’s. Birmingham is a beautiful neighborhood, very sweet neighbors. Dana’s place was very comfortable, shower was hot, small kitchen was perfect to prepare breakfast. We would definitely feel lucky to stay here again.

Stayed for a night and caught a show at royal oaks theater. I couldn’t not recommend this spot more. A few bucks more than a hotel room but so worth it. Insanely close to so many things, great spots to eat and drink, a market next door, quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and private inside, cool basement vibes.

Ian and Paul were both amazing host. for the apartment, it's very nice and cozy, especially the bathroom toilet, owww I freaking loved it. The location is quite and the area is close to Ferndale local restaurants. How nice are the host? : By the day I lost my luggage and I thought I lost it when I was there. Ian and Paul were very nice people that they helped me change security door camera footage. Even tho we didnt find it, the effort they put for me meant a lot to me. A week later, a local restaurant found my contact through airline and contacted me said they had my luggage. It was my fault for not remembering it. But I just wanna say a big thank you for these amazing host. total 5 stars 🌟
