Apartment holiday rentals in Midlothian

Really friendly hosts who were always so prompt with their responses on the run up to our trip to Edinburgh. Location was excellent, with a bus stop right outside the property which got us into the city centre within 15 mins. Would stay again when visiting Edinburgh and will recommend to family and friends.

John was a very pleasant host. Very responsive on email and excellent orientation to the space. It was an excellent quiet location close to my arks and the canal.

What a lovely host! I'd booked this trip as a celebration for my proposal to my partner - Oddny had bottles of prosecco and chocolate waiting for us which is such lovely touch. I felt entirely comfortable moving about her space. She was friendly and gave us recommendations for places that we would not have considered otherwise.

We stayed with Aoife & Gareth for the week and they were super helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our time. Beautiful parks to walk around, great coffee shops and walking distance to the highland cows at Swanston Farm! It was so nice to come back to clean, warm welcoming home. We would recommend Aoife if you're coming to Edinburgh.

I stayed for 3 nights and the place was very clean and matched the description. Instructions on how to get to inside was very clear and easy.

I had a very pleasant stay at Abigails appartement and in my cosy room. The flat is located in the beautiful neighbourhood of Morningside, in a quiet side street. A large supermarket (Waitrose) is a 2-minute walk away, as is the bus stop. Buses run regularly every 10 to 15 minutes into town to Victoria Street, which takes about 40 minutes if you are a good walker. I would high recomment a stay at Abigails

Le airbnb de Paolo est parfait. Très bien situé par rapport au centre ville pas très compliqué d’accéder à la ville en bus (les arrêts sont à côté du logement) 👍🏻 Tout le logement était propre et impeccable. Paolo nous a permis de faire des lessives ce qui nous a sauvé ! Nous avons pu utiliser la cuisine librement dans le respect des règles quotidiennes ! Je recommande vivement, 2 semaines très agréables😊

Truly's place is a great find in a super convenient location close to the tram, making it easy to get to from either the airport or the city centre. Close to local amenities including plenty of shops and other transport links but far away enough from the centre that you can decompress after. Truly is also genuinely lovely and super helpful. Definitely recommend his place!

Very worth it. I thought I will not be happy with the place based on the review that i have read before my check-in that there is no heating,water is cold etc. But I was wrong. The rooms are big,toilets are clean,easy to communicate with the host,there is television,complete cooking utensils,with small fridge,with dishawasher,cooker,towels and lots of beddings. With the very cheap price, I am more than happy and my friends.thank you so much.

Lovely neighborhood, though a bit of a walk to main street

Great Place to stay, very spacious, and location is very good with transport links to the centre and walk-able to Murray field Stadium. John-Paul was an excellent host, always responsive and offering help and guidance where needed.

The apartment was located in a peaceful suburb of Edinburgh with beautiful views. The city centre was easily accessible by buses. The apartment had everything we needed. It was a short walk to a large Tesco and bus to airport. We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment.

Great two bed apartment on the outskirts of Edinburgh. They've thought of everything so really easy to stay here. We bused into the centre which was 15 minutes so really local . Only downside for us, beds were very soft but that's our personal opinion. Would definitely recommend. We loved the decor throughout too.

We stayed at Lilianas for 4 x weeks and it was the perfect accommodation. It's dog friendly which our doodle Dennis loved. There's a bug garden (shared) out the back which was a little suntrap so lovely to sit in and have Dennis run around. Liliana was a great host and great with communication. The location was really good with lots of bars, restaurants, places to walk and lots of bus links.

La casa de Neil estuvo genial muy amplio y ordenado tiene todo lo que necesitas para una gran estadía y está muy cerca de Edimburgo si vienes en carro estarás a unos 25 minutos de Edimburgo.

It was a brief but delightful stay after a long day in Edinburgh. The “ooh’s and ah’s” from my kids said it all. We slept great before an early flight home and was so nice to be in such a clean and tastefully appointed home. We’ll be sure to book again when we’re back.

A very nice flat in a good location close to Haymarket and restaurants. The flat was clean and bright with nice decor and has a convenient parking space. We didn't have time to use the pool as there is so much to do in Edinburgh. Ollie was a good host, always quick to respond and helpful. It was a great place to stay.

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Ollie was a great host, gave clear instructions, and was available even at late hours. Very good apartment, clean and calm. Close to co-op for groceries and all major spots are easily accessible by walking or bus. Highly Recommended
