Welcome to 100 acres of peace & quiet. Everything you need is inside your cabin. The Bio-Gas Toilet & Bathroom Sink. The kitchen with solar fridge & stove cook top. The Biogas toilet even creates methane and provides a cooking stove. Kasha General store is a 2 minute drive or 17 minute walk. They have Beer/Wine/Liquor. They have a food truck with burgers, fries, fish and chips. Trails carved throughout the forest bring you down to the dock on Hell Lake. Enjoy a ride on the paddle boat.

The Eagle's Landing-Minamkeak Lake-A Serene Escape

Nestled up on a hill and overlooking Minamkeak Lake, the Eagle's Landing is an affordable, well-appointed, and comfortable studio. Deck overlooking the lake with BBQ, pergola, and privacy fence covered in grape vines, full kitchen and marble tile heated bathroom floor. Please note that I have a German Shepherd on the property. All bark, no bite and he loves attention. Mr. Oso, a.k.a. Mr. Walkenpoo, loves to leave me little gifts in the driveway at times! Watch your step. Enjoy your stay!

The ISLAND provides an amazing and unique escape that is truly one of a kind. This remarkable location is located only minutes off the highway and is less than an 1.5hr drive from Halifax. Enjoy the day exploring the shores and endless ocean views on land or in one of the kayaks or canoes provided. Spend the evenings with your favorite drink (and people) around the bonfire. However you decide to spend your time, we hope you enjoy your stay at this tranquil and picturesque island escape.

Enjoy an outdoor fire pit after a day of exploring! Please note : Our grandchildren are now living with us and therefore we are unable to guarantee complete silence.

Life is better at the lake! Our beautiful modern cottage was finished in the spring of 2021 and a dock added in June of 2024.. Enjoy the sounds of our resident loon and the clear beautiful water only 5 feet from the end of the deck. With wifi and beautiful sunsets, our two bedroom 1 and a half bathroom cottage is in a great location - minutes from farm markets, 25 minutes to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay, 10 minutes to Bridgewater . You are sure to feel relaxed during your stay.

Want to experience off-grid living in a beautiful forest setting, 10 minutes to white sandy beaches? Tanglewood Cabin is a stylish little off-grid cabin nestled in the forest on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The cabin has a small solar system for charging your devices and to power a few lights. A beautifully built out-house is located near the cabin. While there is no running water in the cabin, water is provided for cooking, drinking and washing.
