Such a beautiful place! The pool was fantastic!! The house is so much better than the pictures even are!!

Our family and friends had a lovely time in Cynthia's home. The setting is very pretty, the dock was a great place to fish and crab from and the beach offers another great hangout spot. The added bonus is that her home is just a 10-minute walk to a cute little restaurant in a marina with great oysters and cocktails.

This is both a gorgeous and comfortable home! The panoramic views of the water just make you smile from the moment you wake up! We visited over New Year’s and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit (great for s'more's!) with views of beautiful holiday lights at night. It was great for unplugging and enjoying family time cooking, playing games, and watching movies and sports . The hosts were very friendly and responsive. We hope to be back again in the future!

Spotless. Well equipped. Quiet, shady gorgeous location. Outdoor dining right off the kitchen was a definite plus!! Farmer's market on the 1st Saturday of the month was fun. Plenty to do and plenty of space to stay and play/relax at our temporary 'home'. Can highly recommend.

The house was in immaculate shape with all the necessities provided, all furnishings/appliances were new and the beds were comfortable. The pool and view was outstanding. Three different cooling zones kept the house cool. The dock was really nice. The pool was really large and very nice. What we liked: My daughter said she really liked the big dining room eating and looking out at the pool and the water. One son said hes bringing the boat next time. Another son said the bay location was exceptional. The son in law said the dock was awesome and he could have spent all the time there. My two daughter in laws and Wife said the interior was so comfortable and the pool was great. I like it all, the house was the nicest rental house I have stayed in over the last 40 yrs, the furnishings, the beds, pool and the Dock made it a wonderful place to stay. It was obvious to me that the owners truly care about their rental and they want you to have a nice stay. This is a really nice!

The place was spotless, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was super responsive and made us feel welcome from the start. The location was convenient with great nearby spots to eat and shop. We can’t wait to come back — highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with all the amenities! Fun place with great activities. Had a good time shooting pool playing darts area was very spacious.

The gothic style cottage is a perfect, inviting, poetic, lovely setting. Three of us stayed. With three bedrooms and baths it was the perfect size. We all loved it. We played games, went out to remarkable local restaurants and use the bikes. Super fun place to take a mini vacation. Irvington is a very culturally rich, yet quaint area. The meadow in front of the house is picturesque as well as the view from the screened in porch. In the morning having my coffee, listening to the birds was a memorable highlight. Thank you for providing a quality, clean, well-appointed, refreshing stay for us. Will keep this on my list of stays to repeat, thank you again. Debra

We (our family of two adults, two teens, and a dog) had a fabulous short getaway at Lisa's. The house is just beautiful, gorgeous old bones but flawlessly renovated. The decor is charming and the beds and baths completely luxurious. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked in terms of cookware and other items. The outside area was absolutely lovely - we enjoyed a sunrise on the dock, catching crabs, kayaking, playing cornhole, and playing games on the screened in porch. The house is a short drive from some great spots to get oysters and seafood. Highly, highly recommend!!

My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Deltaville Blue Cottage. The house perfectly showcased the views, fresh breezes, and natural beauty of the area. We were continually saying " the hosts thought of everything!" If you are looking to comfortably relax with friends and family (young and old) this is the place for you! Anthony was a great host. He made sure we had all we needed. He was very responsive. The home was clean and huge. The area was safe feeling. I would definitely stay here again.

We stay in about 3-4 Owner rented properties a year for the last 14 years and I can honestly say that this home is one of the most beautiful I have stayed in. It had been impeccily renovated and updated. It is beautifully decorated. It feels so clean, spacious and warm. The house is well maintained and appointed. Kelli is extremely responsive. I highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing! This is a beautiful home that is super clean, adorable, comfortable and cozy. Even though it was a tiny home, the back bedroom had the perfect amount of space for my 4 month old’s pack & play for him to sleep beside the bed! Brent was responsive, friendly, helpful, and a great host! 10/10 recommend - would gladly come back again!

Chris was an excellent communicator. His place looked EXACTLY like the pictures. The setting is so serene and offered the right mix of Peace for working adults and fun activities for kids. The guest handbook was very helpful in identifying local good eats and things to do. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Everything about the space was thoughtful—from the intentional setup to the little touches that made it feel so warm and inviting. We had everything we needed and more. The kids had a blast, and the adults got a much-needed break. It’s the kind of place you find yourself already planning to return to before you’ve even left. Definitely a 5-star stay. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Tony’s home. This was our second time staying here, and we truly hope to come back again. It has become our special place of peace and energy. The view of the bay is breathtaking, and the sunsets are absolutely stunning. If you bring binoculars, you’ll enjoy birdwatching—there’s a favorite spot for birds right near the house. Beautiful, spacious beaches are just 20 minutes away, and the island itself is peaceful and quiet, with a very relaxing neighborhood atmosphere. The house is located in one of the best places on the island. It is cozy, spacious, and spotless, with large windows offering views of the Chesapeake Bay from almost every room. The big deck became our favorite place to enjoy breakfast and morning coffee. The home is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Tony and Paula are wonderful hosts who clearly pour their hearts into every detail of the house and genuinely care about their guests.

This is our fourth? fifth? stay at Sundar's lovely spot. Private, gorgeous beach out back, great expansive views out front with ships in the distance. Home is very comfortable. We are always there in November so don't swim, or kayak, or fish. Just enjoy the comfortable home and the walks on the beach. Sundar is always very responsive and available. Kitchen has everything you need. Appliances are great. Beds are comfortable. No clutter of owner's cast-offs which many airbnb homes have. We will be back next year!!

We have been to several AirBnb’s in the Northern Neck area, and they were comfortable. However, the Eventtide home far exceeded our expectations. We are a fishing family and we spent most of our time on the dock fishing. It was fun, peaceful, exciting, private , and carefree. The kitchen windows gave you a beautiful view of the River. OH! I almost forgot to mention that during high tide, the fishing is amazing… spot, croaker, drum, trout… it was an amazing weekend! The owner was extremely nice and communicated effectively in a very reasonable time frame.

Karen was very quick to respond to our questions. The house was lovely. There were canoes, kayaks and water boards for the family to use. Baby pool for the kids. Fishing and crabbing was great entertainment for all. Kitchen well stocked with anything you needed.

We loved the private, short walk to the beach. We spent two days exploring the area, and both mornings/evenings we made sure we walked down the path to see it. The house was clean, and we knew what to expect with the water because of the other reviews and Brad’s write up. It was a quick trip, but staying here added to the experience! Would recommend and stay here again!

I stayed at Meg's beautiful home with my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend in Deltaville, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is spacious, clean, and well-organized, which made it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay during such a special time. Meg was so kind and responsive, providing helpful local recommendations and detailed instructions for the house. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and her hospitality made my wedding weekend even better. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—thank you, Meg!

Me and my family had a fantastic stay. The home was exactly as described- clean, stylish, and super comfortable. The check-in process was smooth and communication with the host was quick and easy the entire time. The space had everything we needed, including Wi-Fi, kitchen amenities, extra towels, spacious rooms- tailor to your stay. Some of my favorite stuff was Kayaking, the porch and the dock also the view was amazing. It really made the stay feel special. I'd absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Virginia. Thanks again, Henry, for being such a great host!

Our stay at The Pyle Inn in Irvington was absolutely perfect! We decided to take the family on a last minute getaway within a few hours and were very excited to see Nikki's home available within our search. The home was even more beautiful than the photos—charming, very clean, and thoughtfully decorated with everything we could possibly need. From the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen and peaceful outdoor space with a jacuzzi, we felt right at home. The location was ideal: quiet and serene, yet just a short walk or drive from town with great local restaurants. We especially loved the mornings spent sipping coffee on the porch and the peaceful evenings in the backyard with or without the kids. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive, providing clear instructions and great recommendations. You can really tell how much care goes into maintaining the property and ensuring guests have a wonderful experience. No wonder why Nikki is a SUPERHOST! We will be back soon!
