In the center of Middelburg is this apartment with views of the iconic abbey tower. It has a private entrance and is located above our lunch room which is open from 10am to 5.30 pm. The apartment is completely private and suitable for 4 people with the possibility of a 5th person if necessary. There is a bedroom with separate sink and built-in wardrobes and two sleeping lofts with a height of 1.80 meters. This is ideal for children, but also suitable for (young) adults.

What a wonderful stay we had with Heleen and Tibor! We went on holiday with our son for the first time and they thought along with us fantastically. There was even a surprise waiting for him! The Airbnb is fully equipped, sparkling clean, bright and even feels more spacious than in the photos. It is about a 15-minute walk to the middle of the city center, which is well worth the peace and space (you have a private courtyard). We will definitely come back for another visit!

We had 4 really nice & relaxing days with Anita and her family. From the beginning, we felt very comfortable. Anita welcomed us very flexibly with a view to the check-in and was really sympathetic and nice hosts together with her family from then on. We liked the accommodation very much and it is what we were looking for. A small, really nice retreat with a view of a beautiful garden. Overall, a really quiet and relaxed place. In addition, the accommodation really has everything it needs: sufficient towels/bedding, sufficient kitchen utensils for two people, with which we could cook well. In general, it was equipped as we needed it for the days in Biggekerke. The accommodation offers a basic stock of salt, pepper, oil... which we could use and consume. About the location: the nearest beach is easily accessible (10 min. bike path). Thank you for the time with you, Anita. We will be happy to come back.

We had such a wonderful time in this apartment. It is so lovely and cosy! We are very lucky that we had our holiday in this beautiful apartment. The neighborhood was quit and we slept well Its very central located , which is very cool. The bikes are also very good. Thanks to Irene and Boris also for very easy communication.

The accomodation is very central and cosy, with wonderful attention to detail and kind gestures such as having a cold drink and sweets waiting upon our arrival. Gwen and Roderick are amazing hosts who made us feel right at home even before we arrived, by asking in advance if we wanted any local recommendations. When we said that we would be looking to do some hiking in the area, they gave us tips and addresses, complete with links to parking spots. Wonderful. The flat is for 3 people and it's worth noting that the bathroom upstairs is open to the bedroom. This was no problem for us as a family though. All in all a delightful gem in Middelburg and a wonderful base for exploring other locations in Zeeland. We can recommend it 100%. Thank you so much Gwen and Roderick for a perfect weekend break!

We enjoyed staying in the apartment and would be happy to book it again during our next stay in Middelburg. Unfortunately, there was a construction site right in front of the house at the time of our trip, which fortunately won't stay there forever. Apart from that, it is wonderfully quiet there and you are in the city within a few minutes' walk. You also have culture right outside the front door, because at the end of the street is directly the impressive Oostkerk of Middelburg. The apartment was very clean and is lovingly furnished. The communication with Mercedes was straightforward, quick and very friendly.
