Apartment holiday rentals in Mexilhoeira Grande

By far one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at in a long time. The vibe was perfect from the second we walked in. Super clean, super cozy, and just really well put together. The location is amazing too — short walk to the beach, close to everything, and free parking nearby which made life so much easier. What really stood out to us was how much thought Idan put into the little details. It felt like everything we could possibly need was already there. From beach towels and a beach bag to a speaker and a cooler for drinks at the beach, nothing was missing. There was even a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived, which was such a nice touch. The outdoor shower was also a cool bonus after coming back sandy from the beach. The Wi-Fi was fast. You can really tell that Idan cares about making guests feel welcome and comfortable. We honestly didn’t want to leave. If you’re coming to Lagos, this place is a no-brainer.

Cláudia is such a kind and warm Person. We immediately felt at home. The Interieur is lovely and detailed, the view is stunning. She was very easy to reach if questions came up and super helpful with recommendations. We felt very welcome and will surely come back :) - the Cats were a super cute plus. Eva’s apartment was an oasis of calm and the perfect place for a relaxing break. We stayed 5 nights and were so happy we booked! It’s so thoughtfully decorated with everything you can need. The welcome gifts on arrival were such a lovely touch too. It’s in a great location at the Marina of Lagos. It’s quiet with restaurants and bars all within walking distance, as well as a big supermarket. Eva’s local tips and guidebook were spot on and very helpful. Cannot recommend more highly and hope to come back one day!

My best friend and I stayed here for four days and really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The place is cuter than the photos. It was a large space and had plenty of room for us to fully unpack and use closet space. It was quiet at night and the window shutters were amazing to keep the bedroom dark. We were a very close walk to the fun town and also the boardwalk/beach. We never had an issue finding free parking on the street. We would stay here again. :)

I loved Claudia's studio apartment! I would move there in a heartbeat! It had two mini-marts, laundry, multiple restaurants, and the river boardwalk within a few blocks of it. The street narrows as you get to her place, so be careful walking at night with cars -- some seem to like zooming up to the stop sign. Also, the local trash pickup spot is s few feet away, so you may be wakened by them dumping the bins. Claudia was kind enough to supply earplugs, so I didn't notice it too much to not allow me to go back to sleep. The studio is decorated perfectly for the space, and everything is super-clean. She responded to my need for help (I accidentally locked the safe without reading all of the directions), and she was quick to get me help from a neighbor. Thank goodness! As she was returning to Portimao, Claudia introduced herself and offered any help if needed, which I found very nice of her to do.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The absolutely stunning sea view is breathtaking, and the long sandy beach just across the street made it easy to enjoy the seaside every day. The location is fantastic—full of great restaurants and even places to rent bikes, so you can easily explore the beautiful coastline on two wheels. The apartment itself is clean, fresh, and modern, with all the kitchen appliances you need to cook comfortably. The bed is really comfy, and I loved that there were some books and even table games available for relaxing evenings in. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable seaside getaway!

Perfect location for exploring Lagos. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Free street parking. The apartment is very spacious and cozy, with great attention to cleanliness. João is very caring and helpful, has a lot of good recommendations for local restaurants.

We had a wonderful visit to Paulina’s apartment. That view every day just doesn’t get old…. The information we received In advance, during and after was key to making sure our stay was seamless. The apartment was perfect for a couples get away - clean, tidy and had everything we required for our stay. The Kitchen was perfect and equipped enough for how we operate - usually breakfast and sporadic lunches at the apartment, with dinner locally in Alvor. We never felt we were short of space or storage during our stay. The bed was a good size and sitting up drinking my first coffee of the day looking at that view became a morning ritual. The bathroom was fine, with no issues and the shower was excellent. Air conditioner worked perfectly when required, and the balcony is an added bonus at all times of the day. Comfortable chairs to relax on, small table and drying facility for your washing. I’d highly recommend choosing this apartment, as we intend to return again.

Beautiful appartement, breathtaking view, marvelous location and attentive hosts!

The apartment is located in a spectacular area, the object of many visits due to the fantastic views. The location is exceptional, you can walk to supermarket and beach and there are several areas very close to leaving our vehicle. The orientation of the apartment, without being exactly a first line, allows you to enjoy the sea in a fantastic way from the side balcony you have, very well adapted to comfortably enjoy a refreshment or a coffee, as well as from the terrace located at the entrance to the apartment equipped with comfortable furniture to relax looking at the Sea. The interaction with the hostess has been close and agile from the first moment and the apartment is beautiful, tastefully renovated, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room with everything you need to relax and the beds very comfortable, in short it seemed a great option in all aspects. We traveled with our pet and had a great time.

Wow! The moment we walked in, it took my breath away! The ample space, the decor, the view, that wood-burning fireplace! Balcony was much larger than I expected. My husband and I spent eight nights in the two bedroom and two bath and would highly recommend it to anyone. It was so comfortable and beautiful, and we didn't mind staying in it when the weather was not so good. The location was stunning, we enjoyed climbing the rocks and walking the boardwalk, both within steps of the resort. We did not use the heated pool because the air temperature was a little too cold for us. The bistro on the premises had good food and was convenient when we were tired. And plenty of other good restaurants and stores nearby. It's only a short walk to the chapel and to the town center. We spent a total of 18 nights in Albufeira and Carvoeiro and this by far was the best accommodation ever! Great housekeeping. Great value for money. Book it and take day trips to other Algarve locations. It's the best!

Leslie is a lovely host. She was extremely helpful, supported us with local tips, eg with the local car rental. Her place is calm and beautiful. I loved the beaches close to the house. Just amazing!

Our stay was AMAZING! The apartment was exactly as described and was a perfect place for us to relax. As you can see in the photos, it's a 2 story and the deck space is amazing. Loved the layout, the close proximity to the beach, and all the restaurants in the area. We had a car and really appreciated the underground parking as well. Ana was phenomenal with her communication and check-in was very simple. In fact, Ana was incredible with her communication leading up to and during our stay. We were 2 couples and this was a great setup for us. 100% would recommend this apartment, and would love to stay again! Our 3 days in Portimao were super relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for.

The photos don't do justice to Franco's accommodation: spacious, clean, well-kept apartment with modern furnishings, equipped with everything you need. The location is great for reaching several beaches in less than half an hour, without being in the confusion, with the convenience of parking in front of the apartment and amenities within walking distance. We dined several times on the balcony, pampered by the cool air and immersed in the silence of the area. Franco is an impeccable host: precise, attentive, helpful and very courteous. Good value for money.

Had a wonderful stay at Jen and Edu’s place. Highly recommend staying here, everything is in walking distance which was amazing. Both Jen and Edu were extremely responsive. Will definitely come back!

Nice small apartment with great views and quiet surroundings. It's a nice place to be, torn between walking and contemplating the views from the balcony. The apartment is small, just right for two people. The bathroom is nice, the kitchen can be used to cook simple-to-casual meals. The kitchen is not separated from the room, so you will hear the sound of the refrigerator and freezer running. I would recommend bringing earplugs with you. Maybe in the future both refrigerators will be replaced with quieter ones, but on this trip that was the only downside. Otherwise super, location is good, you can walk to Alvor, take a bus/car to Portimao. The hostess is responsive, will help with any difficulties. Next time I visit the south of Portugal I will first check the availability of this apartment.

The accommodation was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at, the views in the morning on the rooftop where unforgettable, the host was very helpful and approachable when needing some guidance, the only concern is that we didn’t stay for longer!! Would 100% recommend

We stayed for 10 weeks at Inna’s apartment, we had one or two minor issues but nothing worth mentioning, Inna immediately sorted our problem, she is friendly, super efficient and her communication was first rate. Loved the apartment, very peaceful and Inna provided everything we needed for a long stay. Would definitely recommend Inna’s place.

The apartment was beautiful and very homely. Stanislava was there to meet me and show me around, there was a complimentary bottle of wine, water and basket of snacks waiting. Could not fault anything at all. Even beach towels were provided. The apartment is very well located for all the amenities, bars restaurants and supermarkets on your doorstep. Bus station is a five minute walk so you can jump on a bus and go to any resort. Train station 15 min walk. Had a really chilled and relaxing holiday.

Fantastic stay in wonderful, clean modern top floor flat. View is amazing to the city of Faro and Rua Formosa. Large well furnished comfortable balcony with jacuzzi. There is everything you need in the flat: coffee mashing, toaster, kettle, microwave, cooker and oven, large fridge. Very modern bathroom with two types of shower. Water pressure is perfect. There are plenty of towels if you need more. AC in every room. There is iron and ironing board. Also, there is beach towels and parasol. We stayed for 4 days and loved it. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back 😊 Thank you very much Fabio!

Everything was perfect! The accommodation was in perfect condition, very clean and close to the city center on foot. The pool is a real plus! I recommend it:)
