Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Mevagissey

I can honestly say that this is one of the best AirB&Bs I've stopped in. It was perfect in every way - spotlessly clean, well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, spectacular views from the two small balconies, and ideally located for all the action around the harbour area. In terms of location it's on the hillside of West Looe, which affords fantastic views, but in terms of walking down to the harbour and back there are a lot of steps or sloping roads/footpaths, so be prepared for this (or drive down). I met Martin a few times and he was great to chat to, very friendly, and was able to recommend a few very good pubs. Overall I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

We had a lovely time away. Alison and Craig are amazing hosts, very helpful, we appreciated all the recommendations. They make sure everything is up to your standards and want you to feel at home, which we really did. This beautiful place has all the facilities you need. The view is breathtaking and the bbq is a perfect touch. We enjoyed drinks at the local pub with the view of the beach, the beach is lovely and peaceful. The food and cocktails at the local restaurant are also amazing!

The place was spotless and lovely to stay in, it is just up from the beach with incredibly scenic walking routes basically at the doorstep.

We had a beautiful stay at this place. It was perfect for a group of friends wanting to explore parts of Cornwall. The place was spacious and airy, and we had a great time using the hot tub! The place was tidy and it was a very comfortable stay. Connor was very responsive and helpful, and gave clear instructions and was always there to answer. The place was very near to Eden Project, just 15 minute drive and other places with spectacular beaches and small coastal towns. We would highly recommend!

We had a great week here as a group of eight friends. The house is in a fantastic location, very spacious, with lovely modern bathrooms and excellent towels. The welcome treat of scones, jam, and clotted cream was a really thoughtful touch – thank you! Faye and Mike are very welcoming - Communication was great and a maintenance issue was sorted quickly, which we really appreciated. A few small points: the double beds are quite small for non-couples to share, and some of the pans need replacing as they’re quite worn. Overall, a lovely stay in a great house – we'd be happy to return!

The Old Sunday School is incredible. Property: 5* in every way, super clean, lush decor, smells like a spa! parking is right outside. the patio and view are stunning. bathrooms, shower all amazing. comfy bed, lots of storage space. Hosts: Jay and Lisa are lovely, they are next door but not imposing at all. super helpful and knowledgeable, we enjoyed chatting to them. Leonard is obviously the most important one and he is adorable! Area: the field below the patio was superb for our 2 black labradors, just a short walk away is a woodland walk, just magical in the early morning sunshine. short drive are some lovely country parks and places to eat. the super generous welcome gifts were very much enjoyed. we can't wait to book a return visit.

We had a fantastic week in the Old Schoolhouse. It's placed centrally in the village with shops, restaurants, pubs etc all walkable, including easy access to the SW coast path and surrounded by wonderful countryside. The apartment is beautifully kept and spacious - even if rain kept you in you'd be comfortable. We hope we might stay again sometime.

Issy’s place was amazing, everything that you would need was supplied for you. It was so nice to go somewhere where you had nice crockery & plenty of it instead of just 4 of everything. It was like home from home, spotlessly clean and so many books to choose from especially cookery books which was great. We went to Cornwall to have a good rest as we have busy lives and it was perfect for that especially just to sit quietly in the garden. We were very lucky as we had great weather so could sit outside in the evenings. I would highly recommend Issy’s home as it is so easy to get to all over Cornwall from St Austell. Alison's kind hospitality & welcoming was excellent & the accommodation was stunning & immaculate. If you like a quiet location it's ideal but travelling across Cornwall is no problem as main rd's are accessible from Helston. Alison gave us some good recommendations for restaurants which we tried & were delighted with.

perfect location, close enough to main area to make it accessible...but far enough away to keep it quiet. Janet responded promptly to every question and gave us great recommendations for pubs and food. Fabulous place, fabulous host

Our second time staying with Siobhan, it’s a really lovely place, modern, clean, peaceful, all amenities and a great location being close to the beach and the Charlestown. Siobhan is a great host. Highly recommend.

Excellent views of the beach and town. Easy walkable access to beach and local amenities. Apartment was modern and clean, with tasteful decor. It was ideal to have full use of the outside deck to enjoy sundowners. Information was provided on local eateries and sightseeing attractions in the area. Katherine was friendly and welcoming! Had a great stay, and would definitely visit again.

Julie is a wonderful host and a very kind human being. Her apartment shows how considerate she is. We found everything needed in the flat. Flat is very clean, tidy, good linens, balcony view with sound of the waves is outstanding. Bed is good for sleeping. Comfy sofa and other electric machines are fine. We cooked meals happily. Bathroom is nice and clean. Close to town centre and other beaches. Rooftop is nice. We stayed here for seven days. She even arranged for late check-in to help us to relax before catching our flight home. This holiday experience is so great!! We hope to visit again In sha Allah. Thank you Julie. We absolutely loved staying at Charlotte's place! The loft was very spacious, extremely comfy, and well-equipped. A parking spot is provided. Charlotte lives on the property as do her two sweet pups and some very sociable chickens who tended to greet us when we walked to our car each morning. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful, but a quick drive to the center of Falmouth where there are lots of shops and wonderful restaurants. Trebah garden is only a few minutes away by car and is outstanding. Charlotte is very kind and welcoming, and a super responsive host. We couldn't have asked for anything more and truly enjoyed our stay at the loft. I highly recommend renting this property.

Kerry and Chris were always responsive and helpful. Their place is one of the larger units I’ve stayed in and has plenty of space for a couple family. Good outside area and plenty of parking. Would book again

We had a wonderful stay, everything was as described. The beds and sofas were very comfortable! Great to have little touches like water, milk, biscuits, and the air fryer made it easy to cook simple meals. A convenient location as we were visiting both Eden Project & Heligan

We had a lovely week in Emily & Matt's flat. We liked that you can walk into town but also to Fistral beach & quieter areas. Great views - I enjoyed relaxing, reading in the bay window. I treated myself to swim & breakfast at Headland hotel (special offer).

We had a great long weekend in this charming cottage literally 2 mins walk from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. The cottage oozes history and we found this very charming. The hosts were fantastic with quick responses to questions, let us check in early and very helpful with advice and recommendations. It was the great base for us to have a food and drink weekend in Falmouth. Just what we needed! 2 things for people to consider….if you’re over 6ft then you’ll be walking around with a cricked neck as the ceilings are low but again, we found this part of the cottages character. Also, there isn’t a tv…but this was actually a god send as we sat and chatted instead of doom scrolling on mobiles or iPads or watching rubbish on the telly. Other than that, the place was perfect for us. Well appointed, nice bed linen, hot powerful shower, charming little seating area at the patio door and a parking space to boot! Absolutely loved it.

Unbelievable view and a very modern apartment to match. 2 parking spaces made life easy for 2 couple to stay here, and the apartment itself had a great amount of space. Walkable into the centre of Newquay (about 5 mins) and has lots of great beach / bays on your doorstep. Loved our stay and would highly recommend. Thanks

Smashing wee place with great access for walks around the area or just exploring Penryn itself and especially handy for cafes, takeaways restaurants and good pubs. It was nice to return to somewhere I'd been before and see how it had improved since 1979!

We stayed here for 4 days of our ‘mini moon’. We wanted to enjoy peace and quiet and an easy trip to the beach. It ticked all those boxes. Porthtowan is a treasure going back to my husbands childhood. The accommodation was so peaceful, clean and comfortable. Dominique was very helpful in sending some recommendations before we arrived which were all well utilised. The walk can be challenging as it is a bit of a climb (only slightly and took around 6 minutes) but completely worth the views and the peaceful feel on top of the cliff. Thank you for having us!

A great stay in a perfect location with fantastic views. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed.

This particular apartment had a most memorable deck and view just like the picture. We cherished sitting on deck and watching the beach, waves and people every morning and evening. The cool ocean breeze was also very nice for June as the weather was heating up elsewhere in UK. I f the weather is good, guests are in for a real treat staying here. Room has everything you need and good wifi even on the deck. Would absolutely stay here again if ever in the area!

My husband and I and our adult daughter had 3 wonderful days at Riverview. The photos and description on the Airbnb site are accurate but don’t really do it justice. The apartment is modern, bright with every room having a stunning view. The balcony is huge and it is bathed in sunlight up until about midday. It was a pleasure sitting on the deck having Bkfst or sitting in the evening with a drink enjoying the view and sounds of the birds. There is an allocated off road carpark. The apartment is below road level so there is a flight of stairs to go down, which could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The owners of the apartment live in the apartment above. We never heard them walking around. We did meet them on the street and they are an extremely friendly couple. Highly recommend the walking tour “Falmouth Uncovered” with Will. Highly informative and entertaining. Will is a real character and was the highlight of our day in Falmouth. Highly recommend “Riverview”.
