Great place to stay... any time again

I almost NEVER leave a written review of my stays at AirBnB places...but this trip was exceptional and worth a few words. It was one of the very best vacations my wife and I have had in years, and much of that was due to not just the apartment but the outstanding communication and information we received from Jochen and Jakob. Friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Found a couple of wonderful places to visit, hidden gem restaurants on their recommendation, and tips for inter-city transport. We highly recommend this listing - can't wait to visit again!

We felt very comfortable. Kevin and Claudia always responded quickly. In the apartment there is everything you need. The equipment is very high quality. Düsseldorf is easily accessible in 25 minutes by car. The house is located in a quiet area, only the air traffic during the day is a bit unusual.

This is a great place to stay. Very spacious and clean with a great outside courtyard, perfect for that quiet cup of coffee or just to take in the surrounds. Close to public transport and about a 10 min leisurely walk into Ratingen town square. Kristina was the perfect host who went the extra mile to make you feel at home. Coffee pods were waiting to use in the coffee machine, little chocolates on your pillows and information on what to do in and around Ratingen. Highly recommend Kristina’s apartment and will definitely stay here again.

Yellow cozy location for a cozy weekend away! The apartment was perfectly in order and everything you needed (and more) was present. Super friendly hosts who make you feel at home. It was also wonderful to stay in the garden in the middle of the woods.

Our stay in this apartment exceeded our expectations. The apartment is spotless and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and worry-free stay. The kitchen is fully stocked, the room super spacious and modern, just as seen in the photos. What really made this experience exceptional was the hosts. Heike and Christian helped us with everything we needed. They were very friendly, attentive and made us feel right at home. Top hosts, attention to detail, and human warmth are truly remarkable! Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. A wonderful stay! The accommodation was very clean, stylishly furnished and has everything you need. The area is very quiet and everything is within walking distance and quickly accessible (shopping, train, etc.). Communication with Barbara was warm, accommodating and she was always available. If we are near Düsseldorf again, we will definitely stay here again :)

Very uncomplicated host, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was great, very tastefully decorated, with creative solutions for a basement ambience. Those who value the opportunity to watch television should have a suitable account (?) I don't know anything about it. Perfect for tired cyclists!

Our stay with Alexandra in the green house was terrific. Communication with Alexandra was friendly and quick in response. The house is very secluded and yet close to the cute village of Burg. It was clean, spacious and had all we needed. We loved just sitting out in front or in the back in the afternoons and dropping on the enormous coach in the evening. Highly recommended.

The accommodation was beautiful and in an absolutely perfect location (connection to public transport very good and very quiet area). Check-in and communication was easy.

My partner and I enjoyed the stay in the apartment very much. The apartment is very nicely decorated and was very very clean! Small touches like drinks in the fridge made you feel comfortable right away. The location of the apartment is also very nice and quiet. Communication with the landlady was very friendly and accommodating. We could definitely imagine renting the accommodation again.

We had a pleasant stay in Benjamin's apartment. Everything was clean and the location right at the tram station is very convenient. Communication with Benjamin was quick and easy. The small bedroom is only accessible through another room, which did not disturb us. We would definitely recommend the apartment.

We really had everything we needed: Relaxing nights after exciting days at the Dokomi fair in Düsseldorf, which was very easy to reach. It was very pleasant to come to such a clean and cozy accommodation and to be personally received so kindly. We surprisingly liked the surroundings, even if we didn't have time for further exploration. We'll have to come back again.

Bella’s place is a bit of a gem. A large two bed flat, with great living space. Location is quiet and peaceful and we were able to walk into the city. Plenty of public transport too. Communication was great.
