Located near the Seymour River and the Baden-Powell trail network. Close by are Capilano University, Capilano and Lynn Valley suspension bridges, Deep Cove Village, Maplewood Flats bird refuge, and Lonsdale Quay. Downtown Vancouver is 25 mins. by car or bus, a few steps away. Free street parking.

It has a kitchenette, full bathroom & king sized loft bed, for star-gazing. You have your own private deck with BBQ & lounge chairs. Enjoy access to a shared Wood Burning Hot Tub, a Cedar Barrel electric Sauna, an outdoor shower & an island with a fire pit. We have a second "Cedar" DOME if this one is booked.

Cedar Grove Cottage

Nestled amongst huge cedars in an artist’s garden and just half a block from the Ocean, Cedar Grove Cottage is a wonderful space for romance and rejuvenation. The Cottage is a beautiful tiny house built by a Tibetan artisan, with a loft bed, pullout sofa, and kitchenette, private deck, BBQ, outdoor counter and sink, and outdoor shower. The Recently added post and beam bathhouse features a claw foot tub, in-floor heating and a large walk-in shower. Most comfortable for two adults.

Ocean view from the cabin - walk down the sloping lawn and stairs down to the beach. It is the perfect place to getaway, unwind, and spend time in our beautiful coastal surroundings. Watch the seals, otters and eagles play at our secluded beach. Swim or launch your kayaks, paddle boards or canoes from our property to enjoy the splendour of the Salish Sea. Arbutus Counselling service is onsite and massage are available, often times arranged in advance of your stay.

Enjoy a Micro Cabin experience at this centrally located acreage in Upper Gibsons. The Shanty is a Micro Cabin with a bedroom Loft and outdoor trough tub on our 2.5 acre property on Reed Road. This Cabin is a super funky, private and laid back feel. Our property is within walking distance to so many amenities: Public Transit, Gibsons Park Plaza and all the Restaurants & Storefronts along the 101 Hwy.
