I have only great things to say about Mathilde! She went above and beyond as a host—we arrived to a house that not only matched the description exactly, but also contained complementary toiletries, fresh snacks and water, extra linens, and a binder full of nearby restaurants and must-see attractions. Everything from day 1 to checkout went incredibly smoothly, and we said several times that we would 100% stay here again if we ever return to NOLA. The location is perfect and very walkable to nearby restaurants and a grocery store. Don’t hesitate to book with Mathilde!! You will not regret it 😄

David checked in everyday to make sure everything was great..his cute place is “squeaky clean”, I’m kinda compulsive so I notice that stuff! I especially appreciated the washer/dryer in unit since I had another stop before heading home. Kitchen well stocked, linens fluffy, bed comfy. Would stay here again! Be sure to check out the taco joint up the street..sooo good!

We had a nice and easy stay in Uptown at this cute and homey place. Easy check in/out, nice and responsive hosts, a nice neighborhood where we wanted to be. Small kitchen that has what you need, washing machine/dryer were great (thanks to host who brought us detergent ), easy street parking. Accurate pictures, nice bathroom, bed and furniture all comfortable. I’ll check to see if this place is available when planning my next NOLA trip, which I hope is soon.

Maxie and Lydia's place is an amazing location right on the bayou. The value is fantastic, the neighborhood is gorgeous, and the hosts are so friendly. And there are no entry steps, which is a rare find in New Orleans and important for our older dog. Thanks Maxie and Lydia!

Don was by far one of the best hosts we have ever had. He brought us a case a water just to make sure we could carry waters with us when we went out for the day. He responded so quickly and gave so many local recommendations to help with planning. The check out was so nice and relaxed in comparison to the laundry list of instructions you normally receive. We had a great stay and will check for availability with Don before booking our next stay.

Had a wonderful stay here! The hosts/hostesses were responsive and, while we did not have any issues during our stay, I'm sure they would have worked to swiftly address them. The location was awesome and within walking distance to a lot of great places, including the French Quarter, the WWII museum, the St. Charles Trolley line, and the riverwalk area. I felt safe at all hours of the day/night in the surrounding area, and the Airbnb itself was secure with the main door building lock and deadbolt/regular lock combo for the unit. The outside surroundings were a bit loud throughout all hours of the day, but that's to be expected with its close proximity to the French Quarter (i.e., we knew what we were signing up for when we booked this place, worth it for the close proximity to the French Quarter). Overall a wonderful stay and I would recommend this location to future visitors!

Great place! Very comfortable and the hosts were accommodating and responsive. We frequent New Orleans often and were in town for Jazz Fest this time, which is easily walkable from here. This is a fun little neighborhood to check out and we were glad for a reason to stay here!

Great stay in New Orleans! This was an incredibly convenient location to stay in order to move my freshman out of the Loyola dorm. It was clean and comfortable and I could walk to many restaurants and stores. Loved the authentic character of the space. Will return!

Had a great time here! It was central to everything in the city, easy to park, and the space was clean and affordable. We were worried about noisy neighbors since it's a building shared with other units and New Orleans is a party city, but we heard no one else in this unit. Thanks for hosting us!

This Uptown stay gave me exactly what I needed: a peaceful reset away from the buzz of the French Quarter and all the tourist traffic. The neighborhood was calm and quiet, and the apartment itself was impeccable. So much natural light, beautiful decor, and a layout that just made sense. It felt like a true retreat. I loved the flow of the space, the cozy bedrooms, and the little private outdoor area where I’d sip coffee in the morning or sit in stillness at night. Every corner felt thoughtful and inviting. Brad was a fantastic host. He was super responsive throughout our stay, and when we accidentally left some things behind, he went above and beyond to ship them back to us in Chicago. That kind of care really stood out. I see why this place is called the Vibrant Uptown Retreat. It absolutely lived up to the name. I can’t wait to return to New Orleans, and if this place is available, I already know where I’ll be staying. And you should book it too. Trust me. You won't regret it.

Mia accommodated my family at the very last minute. Her home was beautiful clean and comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with friendly neighbors. I would definitely recommend this home.

We had an amazing weekend at Jeannette’s place! It was in a perfect location and had plenty of privacy. It was also very very safe and secure which was an awesome touch for our girls weekend! We will definitely be back!

The description of the property is spot-on—peaceful, yet conveniently close to various supermarkets and essential services. Additionally, Brian's responsiveness is commendable; he typically replied to any inquiries within an hour. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a reliable and hospitable accommodation experience.

The place was exactly as it was described. It’s small but perfect for visiting New Orleans because you’re not there very often. It was very cozy and convenient. It only took around 15 minutes to get to the French Quarter when walking. We didn’t even get a car because we were able to do everything from this location. There was a coffee shop right across the street that was really good. A small market is a block away. There are also shops in the French Quarter so if you need groceries, you can get them there. The communication was excellent. They made sure to give prompt instructions on how to get to your place. We had a great time. Thank you.

It was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed my sister-in-law‘s bachelorette we only just wish that they have more accommodations for cleaning supplies but other than that everything else was great really close to the French Quarter in Bourbon St, which are some of the main attractions as well as some of my favorite food restaurantswhen I visit back home

The Airbnb was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better!). The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. The location was close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable experience!

This place was super cute and looked just like the pictures. Very clean, and felt very safe as a single woman. Great area, a few steps from Magazine, and walkable to many cute shops and restaurants. Carter was quick to respond, kind and professional. It was a great weekend visit to New Orleans, and would book with these guys any time I'm in the area. Thanks again Carter for everything! Ligy was such a wonderful host! She was friendly and extremely responsive. I could tell that she really cared about making sure our stay was the best it could be and totally went the extra mile to do so. She was very accommodating. The place itself was really nice. It was a well managed room in a time-share hotel that fit me and my father's needs perfectly for a last minute one-night stay for the super bowl without having to settle on quality or cleanliness. I can’t speak highly enough about my stay here. I’m a sucker for two things—themed apartments and hot tubs. If those speak to you, book Jim’s place right now. I am familiar with the area and was attending a conference downtown and wanted a little bit of peace and quiet before heading downtown, and this was absolutely it. There is an abundance of shops and restaurants around without having to call a car to get into the quarter, and the neighbourhood is friendly and safe to walk around. Street parking was a breeze, if you’re planning on renting a car. Nightly soak in the hot tub was A+!
