Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Messalonskee Lake

Corey’s place was perfect for our long Memorial Day weekend in Farmington! He was very responsive to messages. The house was clean and decorated with adorable Maine memorabilia. We would definitely stay at Corey’s again!

Amazing place, host was super kind and accommodated my family’s last minute booking since we were cancelled on twice that week! We are super happy we found this adorable beautiful place that ended up being better than the other places would have been anyway!

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

We had an amazing time. TJ was very responsive and gave his secrets for fishing! He also accommodated a request that was an overlook on my part. I can’t say enough good things about the place itself or how nice TJ was. It was a phenomenal experience all around!

This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! Denis has a really nice place and is very peaceful and quiet. Very well stocked with everything you would need. Only a short drive away to the town of Belfast, which had a beautiful waterfront trail to walk. There are very many local restaurants in town serving delicious seafood. Denis was very responsive to any questions you might have. Loved our stay!

We had a great stay. The location was ideal and everything we needed was supplied. The house was exactly as pictured and well stocked and very clean. Chelsey was very responsive to any questions and they also dropped off some very thoughtful sweet treats! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again!

Jean’s place was amazing, and she was the perfect host! The apartment was perfect for us! The king size bed was so comfortable, and everything was just as described. The location on the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. Jean and Bob very generous and let us use their whole property including wonderful swings to rest on and lake kayaks and a paddle boat! We were scouting out places to buy near Winthrop, and Jean had some great advice and was super helpful! We will be back!

I cannot say enough about Nancy, the unit I stayed in, or her hospitality! This apartment was perfect and cozy for my visit, with lots of personal touches and extras - if you need it, she’s already thought of it and has it ready for you. She was also very accommodating when my flight was cancelled and I had to shift my days around a bit. The personal touches were perfect - I had farm fresh eggs for breakfast and some delicious muffins too. A wonderful stay, thank you! I will most definitely be back! ❤️

We have stayed at Jackies place twice now and enjoyed it just as much this time as the last. Even though it rained for two days the house is plenty big enough to spread out. We had to change our reservation days twice because of circumstances and Jackie was very accomidating..

We had an excellent stay. The view of the river from the dining table was beautiful. Sitting out by the fire relaxing was great. We enjoyed sitting on the small bench at the river while our pup ran around us. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Looking forward to booking again. Jon and Teresa are excellent hosts. Very responsive and have the cabin very well stocked and immaculate.

We loved staying at the cabin! It was 2 adults and one infant, and we had plenty of space to setup a pack n play for the baby to sleep. It was very clean, even for such an old cabin. The heat worked good since it was still cold in April. Lisa came over to introduce herself and asked if we needed anything, super friendly. It’s perfect for a short stay with a small family/couple. Just remember to bring your own towels :) The front porch with the rocking chairs is awesome as well. We will stay here again the next time we are in the Skowhegan area!

Had the best time even though it was just an overnight stay. I personally do recommend staying here. The host were so friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed and more. And the cabin and surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

Elizabeth was amazing to deal with & very quick to reply whenever I had a question or issue. The cabin was cosey but very adequate for what we needed. I loved the location in a beautiful leafy quite and private setting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Trailside Cabin.

very much worth the money to stay, Farmington is a beautiful town and the cabin is gorgeous with the view onto mill pond.
