Recommend for a weekend getaway. Many amenities near by. Great if you are at the nearby fields.

We loved living a little country life for the weekend! It was so nice to have our dogs, and the kids enjoyed exploring the farm roads. We even got to watch a crop dusting plane one morning! Lots of extras, the kids enjoyed: spiral staircase to a kids’ space with a tv, electric fire, bunk bed, bean bag chair, and some crayons and coloring books. TVs in every room and the two bathrooms were comfortable. This is the best location of all four houses, for views and privacy, so we’ll be back and stay at this one again. Hot tub was clean with good jets and privacy. There was a grill we didn’t use, but the couch and fire pit were perfect for enjoying the stars! The first time you drive out, it will seem far, but it got shorter every time we drove to town. It’s worth it for the views (little glimpses of the San Juans and West Elks, and also the Grand Mesa. Comfortable beds and AC! 5 stars!

Of all the places in Colorado to look for solitude, look no further! This amazing cabin has everything you need for comfort, relaxation and amazing deck views to pass the days while recharging. This was certainly a superb home, one I will return to again for sure - Renata was always helpful and prompt answering questions before or during the trip! Couldn't have been a more enjoyable visit.

We had such a lovely stay at this peaceful, clean, Mesa cabin! It felt like our own little private retreat and was so quiet + serene, with beautiful grounds and soft, well-kept grass our pups absolutely loved playing on. The friendly sheep and alpaca were a total highlight 😆 they came right up to us and made the whole experience feel extra special. We walked to dinner one evening, caught a stunning sunset, and ended the night with a cozy campfire and s’mores under the stars. We also took a drive around the Grand Loop, which was breathtaking! Already dreaming about coming back in the fall to see this magical spot in full autumn bloom 🍁 we highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature and charm!

FANTASTIC HOST and SPOT! You will be sad you didn’t book if you don’t. Tim is hospitable knowledgeable and just as warm as his hand built cabins. The thoughtfulness in the space was very noticeable . Perfect stay. Best Airbnb experience… Can not express this enough!

This was my third stay with Kerstin. The cabin is serene, and beautifully appointed. I love staying here for a relaxing quiet getaway to hike and hangout. Thank you!

Communication with the host was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathroom was beautiful. Plenty of linens and towels. However, we were a party of 6, yet the kitchen table only seats four. The living room also only accommodates four comfortably. The third bedroom (full bed and bunks) is in a different part of the house (garage?). It wasn't a problem for us, since adults were staying there. But, it is far from the other bedrooms if you have kids. The house is perfect for up to four people, a little inconvenient for more than that.

Worth it. Great views, great drive. Wonderful place to disconnect. Great patio with firepit, perfect for stargazing. Clean and cozy.

I will say it’s a little weird you have to provide your own towels and bedding but overall it was a good stay

Absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for the true Colorado getaway this is your place. The cabin is well stocked, just bring food and clothes. Enjoyed our coffee on the front deck watching the sunrise. I would be happy right there the rest of my life. Our favorite airbnb we have ever stayed in! Just book it, you wont be disappointed!

Adorable and convenient! We loved this cabin and it made our trip that much more cozy and fun.

The cabin is clean and well-appointed. The surroundings are so beautiful, the canyon, the trees, meadows, creek, wildlife. The hosts gave me lots of space and privacy, provided clear directions and responded to communications without intruding on my solitude. The whole experience was lovely.

Absolutely loved staying at Andrea’s cabin. It was a wonderful homebase for hiking, fall color scenic drives and my remote work. Incredibly peaceful, highly recommend!

This stay is gorgeous! A perfect house for large groups with comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully equipped for staying home and close to downtown for eating out. Cheryl made us feel right at home.

We loved our stay! It was exactly what we wanted…a place to get away and rest and relax. The property and the BLM that it borders are remote and beautiful. The creek is amazing as well. Brandi was very responsive and kind! She let us know they were renovating a few things at the time, so we were not bothered by some of the unfinished work being done. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. and the home is comfortable. Bring food with you as there are no stores or gas stations nearby. We would definitely stay here again!
