Perfect relaxing place, quiet and neat

My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰

This location was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back the moment we got there. We actually got to see a black bear and three Cubs right in the yard, but unfortunately we didn’t get to see them again after that there’s also a beautiful area to walk on a trail and see people climbing a rock very nearby! she was super responsive. The hot tub was gorgeous. We have a blow up hot tub ourselves and it works fantastic and it was very clean so is the bathroom. The heated seat toilet was a nice touch. we had anything we needed and the air-conditioning worked great!! I will say definitely don’t eat at the turtle restaurant bar in the area. Service was absolutely horrible. After waiting an hour and a half our food never came and they gave us drink chips which we will never use because why would anyone wanna go back?lol! but that had nothing to do with her. This place was fantastic and they were extremely accommodating. thank you again for a terrific day. We hope to be back soon.

The perfect weekend getaway! They set the cabin up with everything you would need to be entertained or find adventures around the area! The cabin was extremely clean, and the property was beautiful! The hosts were responsive to questions! Will definitely be back.

This is our second visit to DPC! We love it here! The cabin is immaculate and amenities are great! The guidebook was amazing and our girls trip was fantastic in big part because of this place! Hosts are amazing! Definitely a hidden gem!!

Wonderful cabin! We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay here. We enjoyed lots of quiet time surrounded by nature, as well as time in the nice hot tub. The cabin is not on the lake, but if you bring your own kayak/equipment and go to the landing area you can access it. We were busy enjoying the hot tub, making campfires, and grilling. Would stay here again!

This cabin was perfect. It had everything necessary to have a fun and relaxing stay. It was the perfect getaway. Peaceful, quiet and just what we needed. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone you won’t regret it. We will definitely be back!

Debra is an amazing host! She’s accommodating, respectful, responsive and very professional. Our stay was more than amazing. The house was perfect and everything that’s included with the home was more than satisfactory! We will definitely book with her again!

A perfect winter getaway! Cozy, especially with the fireplace, and homey. Plenty of space for a family get together - good communal spaces while also enough room for individual retreat. All the amenities one could need are provided. SO grateful for a place that allows dogs. The owner is timely in response and kind. Understandably so due to environment but there were some insects in the home and dead bugs in some area (ladybugs, flies, etc). Overall, a great stay and wonderful place - would recommend.

This is an amazing place to stay! The peace and quiet of the location and to feel as though you were in the middle of the woods was a welcome surprise! We were lucky to have discovered this place! Thank you!

The cabin was exactly the kind of peaceful break we were looking for. We try to include our dogs on road trips (especially as they’re getting older😭), so we were grateful to find a dog-friendly spot! We really appreciated how clean the cabin was, from the crisp bed linens to the bleach bucket for sanitizing dishes before use. We spent our time soaking in the sounds of nature, reading, relaxing by the bonfire, and watching movies. The dogs found their zen sunbathing on the deck. My husband, two dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The point of my vacation was going somewhere we could take our dogs and this was the perfect spot to relax with them for a few days. Everything was clean and there was a perfect amount of space for us to relax. It was very quiet in the neighborhood and most of the time it felt like we were the only ones around. It was great to be able to walk to a very nice restaurant and bar a minute or two down from the cabin since we wanted to stay close. The only thing that bummed me out was we went at the end of May and the dock wasn’t put out - and I was hoping to spend time sitting out on the water. That could have been me not realizing the typical “season” but had assumed it’d be out so I recommend checking if that’s important to you :)

Beautiful home nestled in a quiet, secluded location - an ideal place to unwind and recharge. We loved spending our evenings by the fire, exploring the trails, and soaking in the surrounding nature, including a wonderful variety of birds and wildlife. Corey is a welcoming and kind host. Highly recommended, and we definitely plan to return!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Barbara’s cabin! It was MAGICAL! The property was completely private and peaceful. The most private and peaceful property we have ever visited. The fact that it is located in an area with many Amish neighbors means that there is a peace and quiet as well as harmony in the countryside. We would sit out for our morning coffee on the porch swing and listen to the passing of the horses and carriages. We sat outside all day long every day soaking in the peaceful serenity and the glorious old woods that surrounded us. The best of which was the stunning huge old Oak Tree that graces the front yard. In the morning we would hear the birdsong and the wind in the trees. At nighttime it would grow quiet and last night I heard a Whip-Poor-Will for the first time in my life! Amazing! We bought organic fruit and vegetables at the nearby Amish roadside stand, Busy Bees. The cabin was comfy, cozy& amazingly clean! The windows were spotless! A gem!

This place was great! Perfect for our family. Even in the winter the kids played on the beach and with the horseshoes and ran all over. It was a spot we for sure want to enjoy in the summer too! Very clean. Everything was as it was explained. Host was very responsive. We can’t wait to come back!

So, relaxing, cute, cozy, came home from fishing all day, was so nice just to relax on the couch with fireplace on. Way better than staying at a motel. So glad I treated myself to this place.

Had an amazing stay in this very cozy Cabin. The hosts really take care of this cabin so it’s only right we do as well, even with frigid temperatures it still felt very warm inside. The hosts also work very diligent to keep everything running smooth. They were very responsive and flexible to help accommodate you. Thank you would visit again!

Warm and welcoming hosts - so nice to have a kind note, lights on, and chocolates and wine waiting for us (although we did not partake in the wine - but loved the intent behind it). Definitely hunting cabin vibes -- we are so jealous and wish we had this type of accommodation for when we go hunting. Another nice thing: we weren't asked to strip sheets, run the dishwasher, wash towels and take out the garbage like so many other Airbnbs (what's the point of the cleaning fee if the guest has to do half the work?). All that was asked was to put used towels in a pile on the floor - so appreciate that when we have to depart for an early morning flight. Thanks John and Kitty - if we are ever in the area in the future, we will be sure to book again.

Beautiful Home and location. Peaceful place for our family vacation. Set up well for our age range of 2 to Grandparents. The fire pit was a highlight along with paddle boat rides. The fireplace was cozy for our day of rain. We were spoiled with a few extra treats left for guests. They think of everything. We enjoyed horse back riding near by along with many activities in the Dells area. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

Was sent a message that we could check in early. Could not take advantage of that but it was nice to know. Catfish were biting on the second night. One was too big for our net. Bullheads were biting the third night.

This place was absolutely stunning. The decorations, the property, everything about it was amazing. There was a trail where we could walk our pups and everyone there was so friendly! It was such a peaceful step away from our normal lives and it allowed us to be able to recharge and relax.
