Nice house, with kitchen / utensils, and kayaks for the beach. Quiet area, you can feel the privacy and enjoy the beach. They are always attentive and responsive to questions you may have... Good recommendations for tours and restaurants.

Herman’s house on the beach in Chuburna is beautifully designed and thoroughly comfortable. I chose it based on reviews, its unique appearance, privacy and location away from touristy areas. Progreso, however, is 20 minutes away and offers a supermarket, restaurants etc. Having a car is highly recommended for those who want to visit points of interest in the Yucatán, such as the Mayan archeological site at Uxmal, the flamingoes in the Celestun biosphere. and various cenotes - all experiences well worth the drive. The Mayan museum in Mérida is also wonderful to visit. Herman’s onsite list was very good guidance for what not to miss. Thoroughly recommend this house. Linda

Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

The property is beautiful. It's great for a family vacation. It was obvious that it was professionally furnished and decorated. Attention was paid to every detail throughout the property. We were not too happy with the town as there was no real nightlife and the town seemed to be pretty impoverished. Thankfully the property was so inviting. We spent a lot of time at the house enjoying the amenities offered by the house. We enjoyed being able to prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The pool house was so nice. We had beach towels available to us. We had a couple of minor issues but they were addressed very quickly. While we were not impressed with Progreso. we were very pleased with the property. Came for a girls trip and we had the best time. The house is nice and the ac in the rooms work well. We spent the entire trip by the pool and on the beach. The cabana is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee while soaking in the beach. We had someone cook for us while we were there and just ran to the store for snacks and anything we needed. Maria was easy to communicate with and assisted us with any request we had. This was the perfect beach getaway. I would definitely go back!

This is a 5 stars place no doubt! If we could give more than 5 stars for cleanliness we would as we found the house spotless on all fronts. Great communication for ease of check in and check out. Excellent for groups given the numerous seating areas that can accommodate 8-10 people all at once, outdoor as well as indoor. Accessing the ocean for a swim is swift although you have to cross over the concrete wall or step over sideways so maybe a little difficult for low-mobility individuals. Don't miss these raved about sunset swims tho! Would definitely come back!

This is the best place to be right in front of the water. Quiet spot , clean pool and great view of the sea.

It is perfect if you want to spend a quiet vacation away from the city, the sea is quiet for swimming, to get there you have to follow the institutions as Google maps can take you elsewhere. The apartment is very spacious and with a beautiful view of the sea, it is a little neglected but that does not affect its functioning. When arriving there was no Internet but host was always attentive until sorted out. I would highly recommend it

Miguel’s place is wonderful, it was beyond our expectations and even more beautiful than what we expected. It was all clean and put together, Juan who is the person in charge is great and very helpful. We will be back definitely as we had a very pleasant stay. Just worth notice if you need to get to the little towns surrounding the place I would recommend renting a car. Great great location

It has everything you need, I didn't expect a pantry but there was and everything in the kitchen quite well equipped, the beds clean, the services did not fail, the beach was very quiet and excellent for children there was only enough air for a few days but it was quite enjoyed, covered parking and ample is appreciated, the distribution of rooms is good. We thought the pool but it is jacuzzi and it suddenly left us small, but it is nice
