Great stay.

we travelled as a family and hired a car. the property has ample parking and is in a lovely quiet cul de sac, yet just a few minutes from major road routes. There are some great bars, restaurants and shops withing walking distance including a big supermarket. our kids absolutely loved the pool and the photos do not do it justice. The property had everything we needed for self catering, with a great outside dining area. It's one of the best holiday homes I've stayed in, and I would use it again if I returned to Gran Canaria.

We had a great experience at Katharina's place! The pool has a nice 28 degree temperature, every bedroom has aircondition to ensure a good night's sleep, and the house is located a short drive from some amazing beaches and decent restaurants. Couldn't have asked for more!

We loved staying here. Our friends were just across the path from us in the same Bungalows so worked well for us both. Host was very quick at responding. A small suggestion , the toaster only toasted one side so our beans on toast for breakfast took ages 😂 however we did not mention this to Adama as it was it wasn’t anything that affected our holiday. A short walk to Yumbo, but be prepared for the hill up to it. We enjoyed the walk but it may be worth getting a taxi for just a few euros. Would stay again 👍🏻

Great accommodation, far larger than we need but we like plenty of space and are prepared to pay extra for it. Ilse was a great communicator prior, helped our taxi driver find the property on arrival, allowed check out later than expected and booked us a taxi back to the airport. One thing that I think is missing is a book/folder of local recommendations and instructions, although Ilse does have a blog with some wider recommendations. Overall we really enjoyed the stay, highly recommended.

I stayed 5 days at "Caracas del sol" and all I can say is: Absolutely stunning! The place is spacious, quiet, tastefully decorated, everything has been thought for the guests to have the best stay they could expect. I stayed in many Airbnb before, this is definitely the most amazing one. I highly recommend this place, It is really worth every cent you play. I will definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at this beautiful bungalow, the location, the amenities just everything was perfect! Zen and Wolfgang were so incredibly sweet and accommodating, we felt right at home. The location is right on the sea with a wonderful view! We will definitely come back here, absolutely recommended!!!

A truly unique, special place to stay. The Atlantic Ocean is your nearest neighbour. Minutes from the airport & very easily found. Perfect for lovers who appreciate nature. We absolutely loved our stay in the apartment. Host is kind and responsive and you have everything you could need. The apartment is beautiful and was spotless, with a lovely outdoor space for dining in the evenings and a fantastic view over the sea. Pool is well looked after and easy to access and was never too busy when we were there. Anfi beach is a short walk away and there is also a little shop next to the pool. We had a lovely relaxing week here!

Francesca has been a wonderful host! Always attentive and very willing to explain everything and help us with whatever we needed. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos and was impeccable in terms of cleanliness. We appreciate the amount of details thought to make the holidays perfect: it has all the necessary amenities such as a washing machine, dryer, coffee maker, toaster, vacuum cleaner... and also leaves useful products such as soap, coffee or towels for the pool. Excellent accomodation. Loads of space including a kitchen diner, very large separate sitting areas and a brilliant terrace. Both bedrooms have balconies one is en-suite. There is a decent bathroom next to the second bedroom and a nice downstairs loo too. You can even go up to the roof which has good views. The house is in a private gated close with free parking outside. It's a 50 metre walk to the house. The terrace has an extremely large oven and separate grill that you will not use unless you're feeding 20 plus people! Overall, the quality of the furnishings and all the little personal touches is excellent. The hosts live nextdoor and are easily contactable. We really enjoyed our stay here and have no hesitation in recommending it.

There were five of us at Renata's. Two children, grandma and we two parents. Communication with Renata was extraordinarily fast, friendly and reliable. Once something didn't work and 20 minutes later Renata was on site and fixed it. The apartment was sparkling clean and everything was available (dishes, cooking utensils, towels, sheets, bath towels, hand soap, dishwasher, detergent tabs, barbecue, games, books, etc.). The apartment is located around the corner from the pool, which is serviced every morning. The whole facility is very clean. It's wonderful to lie under palm trees in the hot tub in the evening. The apartment is as described. The upper sleeping area is under a sloping roof and is less suitable for larger people. For larger purchases I would go to a supermarket a little outside. A small supermarket is quite close, but a little expensive. All in all, we were really very satisfied and had a great holiday.

This is a very nice bungalow. For us, it was perfect with 3 adults. The equipment is complete and in our opinion completely sufficient. The associated parking lot can be reached on foot via 2 stairs in 1 minute. Particularly noteworthy are the extra-large terrace with 4 loungers, table with chairs under sun protection and in addition above a 2nd terrace with seating area. Both terraces have a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. We can also recommend the location. Playa del Anfi is a 15-20 minute walk. The airport by rental car in about 35 minutes. The service, check in and contact via Saskia and Lenska went smoothly, on time and very friendly. Clearly yes from us for this vacation home. We felt very comfortable.

Excellent accommodation and host. Would most definitely stay again. Great location, close enough for a short walk to all amenities but far enough away for peace and quiet. Very private with a hot tub which was useful when weather was misbehaving and pool is literally outside the back gate and not used by many so was always quiet. Good amenities inside with big screen TV for the odd movie night and everything else you might need. Beds were comfortable with choice of pillows and all rooms were of a good size. Of particular note is the privacy in the garden areas and the covered terrace was perfect for when you needed shade. Lovely place to have your morning coffee. The villa was well kept, clean and modern. Was also back off the main street so was very secure. Our host was great from start to finish. Great communication and very knowledgeable and helpful. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Very good value for money. We look forward to staying again soon.

We had the pleasure to stay for 8 nights. You can find everything that you need, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker, cutlery, plates, hair dryer, iron etc The terrace its lovely and its a big plus because we spent most of our time there. Tony was great, he was very prompt every time we needed something. We recommend it 100% and we will definitely come back again!

A wonderful little place to stay. Nothing but bird song to wake up to in the morning. The villa is rustic and super lovely. All the basic amenities and good WiFi if needed. The place was super clean, so much better than many airbnbs I’ve stayed. The nearest supermarket is only 15 minutes away. There are plenty of small villages to visit within 15-30 minutes. The local waterfall is very beautiful, and a very pleasant 20 minutes away walk away through the valley that makes you feel like you’re walking through Jurassic times. The local geology is breathtaking with so much evidence of ancient lava flows overlapping one another. The locals were friendly too. A very special little place. Thanks so much for having us.

Carlos Bungalow is a fantastic choice for a relaxing stay. The accommodation is clean, well equipped and offers a nice atmosphere. Carlos is an excellent host, friendly, helpful and always strives to provide the guest with a pleasant time. Highly recommended.

We stayed at La Casona del Almendro with our dogs and it was an incredible vacation. La Casona has everything you could wish for, tranquility, comfort, open space for everyone to enjoy. The incredible exterior, the pool, the Balinese surrounded by artificial grass, which makes you even more comfortable enjoying the exterior, the barbecue and iron area, careful with the smallest detail, you find everything, as if you were at home. The pool is very clean, as is the entire exterior of the house. As far as the house is concerned, one of the best I've ever stayed in, it doesn't lack any detail. Impeccable kitchen, accessible and very clean bathroom. The living room is very cozy and the bedroom is a dream, with a very comfortable bed and a very special atmosphere. Everything smelled wonderful, clean and pleasant, which makes you feel at home. The hosts have been 20, super attentive, friendly and close. It will undoubtedly remain as one of our houses to repeat. We had a fantastic stay! The place is well-appointed and really comfy, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. We especially loved the different outdoor seating areas – the front and back porches and the balcony were perfect for enjoying the sunshine at different times of day. The swimming pool was great too – clean and a lovely spot to unwind. It’s a 10-minute walk to local shops and a couple of nice restaurants, and about a 20–30 minute walk (or a €5 taxi) to a larger shopping centre with plenty of dining options and stores. There’s also a taxi rank just 200m away with very reasonable prices. The more lively Playa del Ingles is only around €10 by cab if you fancy a change of scene. The hosts were excellent – really helpful and super quick to respond. We’d definitely come back and would happily recommend the place to others!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pedro’s house. It was beyond our expectations in terms of what the property looked like and how big it was. There were many creature comforts and thoughtful touches that made our children want to actually live there. The villa is beautiful and the greenery and trees are amazing, it feels very restful and a wonderful base from which to explore Gran Canaria. I would recommend a car without doubt in order to get to local sites or restaurants if you want to eat out. The ravine is very near and an amazing place to explore on foot. The pool is great and the children were in there every day. I would wholeheartedly recommend this villa as a holiday destination, you won’t be disappointed!

We enjoyed the holiday very much. The apartment is really very nicely decorated as shown in the photos. The view from the terrace really leaves nothing to be desired. Nice contact and reception from José. It couldn't have gone better. Conclusion: We were completely satisfied. And I'm sure you'll be back!

We had a huge pleasant week at the airbnb. It is as described and in the photos just by the sea where there is only the boulder sand and small dyke. The rooms are large enough and a nice terrace. It is a small cozy village where you can eat something in the afternoon. During our stay there were sometimes gusts, I don't know if this is always. It's nice and quiet. We were there with a toddler and there is a dining chair and travel cot available. 🥰 If you want to go inland, the roads are bold. In addition to Elena's many tips, we also recommend taking the small walk of El Charco Azul at Risco. Thank you for hosting us! 🌞
