Holiday rentals in Melidoni Rethymni

If you’re looking for a place to chill out with your friends or family, give this one a try. A place like this is meant to be shared with people close to you. I loved the pool, the mountain view, the quiet, the beautiful golden hour in the morning and evening, and the olive trees that surrounded us. It’s also not a long drive to the Skinakas Observatory, Rethymno, and Chania. Crete in general requires a bit more driving to explore, but it’s definitely worth it. However, most days we also just chilled by the pool, played basketball and ping pong, and enjoyed each other’s company. The location is very secluded, and we felt at home—just better. We will gladly come back here in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Despina! The location is fantastically quiet, perfect for relaxing, and at the same time a good base for exploring the south of Crete. The villa itself is very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped – from the kitchen to the beautiful outdoor area with pool, everything was well maintained. We particularly liked the warm hospitality and the little touches when we arrived. We felt right at home! A real highlight: the fantastic view of the surrounding nature and the sunsets in the evening. We will be happy to come back and can recommend Villa Despina to anyone looking for peace, comfort and Cretan warmth. Thank you for everything!

Top Villa and Top Host! The private Villa is wonderful and truly as per the pictures and description of it. Everything was very clean , confortable beds and all accesories needed. The exterior same, pretty garden and pool very good maintained and we expend most of the time enjoying them from morning to evening. Voula and her family are extremely nice and she also was taking a lot of attention to make sure all was good during our stay and responding quickly if any questions we had. Beside other welcome details, they left cooked for us a delicious traditional dish (Gemista) and brought some sausage rolls another day that we all loved to eat. Perfect place to stay for a family or friends. Highly recommended for those who additionally to the very close nice beaches, would also like to enjoy of the incredible scenery and beauty of the interior. Supermarket, some restaurants few minutes walk away. Melidoni cave, Honey Museum, ... also even by walk). Thanks Voula for this wonderful stay!

We were two families with three children and really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully renovated villa with lots of loving details! We particularly liked the many beautiful outdoor seating groups, which alternately lie in the shade and in the sun depending on the time of day and the pool that can be heated on request and thus reached a very pleasant temperature even in average weather. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the owner had provided a huge package of food and drink upon our arrival that we have never experienced in an accommodation. Communication was very quick and always very friendly at all times. Absolutely recommended if you are looking for a quiet house with many retreats in a very authentic environment in Crete!

Beautiful new house in the centre of Bali. Extremely convenient for the beach and restaurants. Rooms are like a hotel. Little overlooked from the road in the rooms so we had to keep curtains closed most of the time but we didn't spend much time in the house so that was fine. Free sun beds from the restaurant beside the house was a nice touch.

We had a wonderful time at Melidoni X village. It's truly a tiny paradise hidden from the busy streets and flocks of tourists. The villa has all the privacy, but with hotel perks such as delicious (homemade) breakfast with many things to choose from, regular cleaning, and in case you need anything else - Georgios was responsive 24/7! The garden around the property is beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. Cuddly cats that would visit us in the garden made it even nicer stay for us :) The pool was amazing and checked regularly. A few minutes ride from the villa is a gorgeus little village of Melidoni, with fantastic restaurant. Georgios was extremely attentive and made sure we have everything we need all the time. We had a long delay with the flight so we ended up arriving very late in the night, but he neverthless came to greet us and help check-in! We will definitely be coming back.

Nice, modern flat at the beach. Is equipped with everything you may nee d. Very nice owner and the communication with Etouri was pleasant.

this is a great Villa to stay at in central Crete that made it easy to branch off to many other areas of the island the best part was the Villa itself with its swimming pool and the views. great place to stay close to the small village of margarite. highly recommend it's got to be one of the best places to stay in all of Crete. Michalis was a great representing host.
