Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We spent a wonderful week at Bryans place with our three kids, who just learned or were abour to learn how to swim. Because the large pool was heated we couldnt get them out of the water, it was amazing. Since the garden had big hedges all around and a sunny terrasse it was just the perfect place to relax and feel comfortable. The house itfelf is gorgeous, since it is actually someones home it is lovely decorated and especially the kitchen misses nothing, which really sets it apart from "tourist only" places. Bryan was always extremely friendly, answered every question and made everything very easy and smooth. Veddelev itself is very nice and quiet, you can walk to a little beach with a pier, the water there is clean and shallow at first, which is again, very kids-friendly. All in all we had a great holiday and hope to visit again soon.

We had a delightful stay. Kim is a very responsive and helpful host, and the house was clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. Would recommend having a car, but we managed it all on public transport and the handy bikes at the house. The only confusing bit was the light switches that took some finding! If you’re looking for a comfy space an hour outside of Copenhagen, this is a great place.

A great place to stay with everything you need

We (couple with 8 year old daughter) spent a great week in the beautiful summer house. The house was actually even more beautiful than in the photos, very stylish with designer furniture and high-quality art on the walls, lovingly furnished and in an absolutely top location to the beautiful steep coast (with adventurous private stairs), where you can enjoy the picturesque sunset, but also great swimming. The kitchen is super equipped, with everything you need. The pool was the absolute highlight! It's not heated, but the sun does it wonderfully. The huge garden and peaceful surroundings were also very convincing. The area invites you to numerous activities, but you should definitely be mobile, because the local shopping is best to reach by bike or car. Janus is a very friendly and reliable host, communicating with him was always straightforward and prompt. Thank you for everything

This summerhouse is definitely worth a visit past the home ☀️ itself is in top condition, and it is just so calm, cozy and nice - you feel right at home here. In addition, the hosts are just so welcoming and hospitable - they have really catered for our needs and helped us if there was anything we were in doubt about😌 It has been such a lovely experience to stay here🥰

We can fully recommend the accommodation. We immediately felt very comfortable. Great view and the place is equipped with lots of lovely details. Torben and Lone thought of everything! Thank you! And even with icy temperatures outside, it was easy to heat the accommodation to the desired temperature.

We had a great time in the sommerhouse. It is very spacious, and has a lovely large garden. The kitchen is very well equipped, and everything was super clean. We slept very comfortably here, and enjoyed the living room with the view of the garden. Highly recommend Henrik's place if you look for somewhere peaceful and remote.

It was really a fantastic experience. It was the perfect place to gather my family and plenty of space for both large and small. It was bathed in the wild marble bath and then in the sauna and back again. They grilled, played, and had fun until the big gold medal. We were relatively lucky, but regardless, this cottage is a winner. It is all easy to use, clean and there is plenty of space both inside and outside, so there is room for both peace and play. Ponnier in addition to a field at sunset seen from inside a sauna ... Epic. And good communication with the host Michael both before, during and after. We would like to come back here and can really recommend this place in the strongest terms. :)

Henrik & Peter's Bellevue house is incredible! It is located on the highest point of Kulhuse and offers total privacy, the terrace and outdoor shower are both facing a little forest. There is also a barbecue on the terrace. The rooms are big, very bright and furnished with excellent taste. There is everything you will need both in the bathroom and in the kitchen. The living room offers you plenty of different cosy spaces, with nice sofas and chairs. The two bedrooms are also exceptional, with big windows, high quality beds and very nice furniture. On top of the quality of the house, Henrik & Peter are very sweet and helpful hosts. They came to greet us for check out and were very responsive during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay with our little dog Ruby as the garden is totally fenced. Thank you for a great stay! We will be back ☺️

We had a lovely time at Zenia’s cottage. We felt very welcomed by a handwritten note, a basket with goodies as well as the fresh flowers on the dining table. We had a couple of questions and Zenia was always quick to respond and very helpful. The cottage is perfect in size for a family, or two couples. It’s very tastefully decorated. The pictures matched reality and everything that was listed in the ad was also present. The garden is beautiful and private. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for cooking at home. We would go back again.

This little summerhouse is so warm & adorable in a lovely area. Surrounded by nature & private it was the perfect location for a cozy girl’s weekend.

We loved the house and surrounding area. There is a forested area at the end of the road which was great for a run or walk. Inside the house was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Having an espresso machine was a bonus. Niklas is very quick to respond and helpful.

We were with 4 people a week over New Year's Eve in Henrik's house and enjoyed it very much. It was very cozy in bad weather to stay in the house with a fireplace. The house was super clean and everything worked out great. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, we lacked nothing. A short walk leads to a very nice coast with wonderful sandy beach. We would like to stay in Henrik's house again at any time and can highly recommend it. In summer, the large terrace and the large garden invite you to linger. Everything is fine, thanks to Henrik.

We wished we could have stayed longer. This place was perfect for us. We visited Denmark for an exhibition in Copenhagen. It's was an hour drive, a great way to see some of the country. The beached nearby were just perfect, we did have perfect weather too. One thing is for sure, we want to come back here.

We had a great time with the family at Mikkel's cottage, which was very nice to us. The kids had a lot of fun. The green environment around is very pleasant, and the beach next door offers a beautiful sunset. We recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a few days early February. It warmed up before we arrived, so it was super delicious. Cozy cabin, especially the wood-burning stove, we enjoyed warming up. Amazing close to Tisvilde MTB tracks.

We had a fun time at Jette and Jacob's! The house is very comfortable and very well-equipped. Jette thought of everything in their home and is very attentive. The environment is beautiful. For us it was a real discovery to stay in this typical Danish vacation home. We had unforgettable moments in Liseleje and are under its spell. Fantastic stay!! Thanks to Jette and Jacob.

Another lovely stay at David's lovely summerhouse, we had been looking forward to coming back and the house and summer weather definitely did not disappoint! The cottage and location are top notch, and we are already looking forward to returning.
