Family-friendly holiday rentals in McKenzie River

We 100% recommend Amy's house along the river. Our stay at the Fall River house was wonderful. This is a perfect place to go for relaxation and fun. It was great to be away from any city, staying in this beautiful house along the river. The house is well-stocked with plenty of outdoor equipment. We used the stand up paddle board, kayak, and inner tubes. Our group had a great time playing pickle ball on the black top area and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the berries and vegetables in the garden. We loved the house itself too. Well designed and exceedingly pleasant to stay in. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook or BBQ ever dinner at the house. We enjoyed most of our meals outside at the picnic table on the grass by the river. Amy was helpful and very responsive. This was our second stay at Fall River, such a delightful get awy

Lisa’s place is fantastic! It's in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with an incredible deck and backyard. This house is perfect for two families traveling together and multigenerational families traveling together. Lisa is a great communicator, answering any questions I had very quickly! You won’t be disappointed with Lisa’s place. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Huge home with many places to sit and relax/enjoy meals - both indoors and out! Access to the pontoons paddle boards made our stay extra fun. The house sits above a slough off the Willamette, which is not physically connected to the river. Other then a few kayaks and the runners on the Pre Trail across the slough, it's just birds and other wildlife. Very private! Outdoor patios are wonderful, and the large water feature covers the freeway noise well. Beds were comfortable. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor; 2 share a full bath with shower only; 3rd bedroom has an ensuite with tub/shower combo. Lower level is all one big master with king bed, sitting area and large bathroom. Kitchen has all you need to cook a gourmet meal. This is definitely their residence for at least part of the year, so it's not a sterile environment. Piano, many TV's and lots of board games and books. Montra was super responsive and a wonderful host!

The nicest dog-friendly home we’ve ever stayed in! Lots of sweet extras for our dogs, securely fenced yard, and everything people could need or want too! Extremely well supplied, even found a band-aid when I needed one. Also, Danielle was so kind and answered every message immediately! We would highly recommend this place. Perfect for visiting your student at UO! Go Ducks!

Great location. Beautiful home. Close to great restaurants. Close to UO as well as Autzen Stadium. Highly recommended for Graduation with family.

What a beautiful place. Such a peaceful, amazing stay. Literally felt like you were staying in the trees. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back. Alex was a great host, communicated quickly and thoroughly. Thank you so much for providing such a peaceful place to be.

Pieter was an incredible host—responsive, accommodating, and genuinely kind. From the moment we arrived, he made sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. The space itself was spotless, smelled amazing, and the sheets were pristine—which we truly appreciated. It was comfortable, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. The location was also ideal, close to everything we needed. What truly set Pieter apart was his kindness. When we accidentally left our iPad behind, he went out of his way to take time out of his weekend to meet us at a restaurant and return it. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. Highly recommend Pieter as a host—thank you again for everything!

Peaceful , everything was up to snuff. Everyone enjoyed the eclectic art and watching the dogs run across the back field. Good host response. My bed was comfortable and water pressure was good.

Perfect place for our group of 7 to stay for a few days. One thing we found kind of odd at first, but ended up really appreciating was that the 2nd bathroom is outside the house. For a big group that offered another level of privacy. The views are spectacular, we spent a great deal of time on the porch and loved it.

The place was perfect for our impromptu visit to the springs. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable. What a little gem :)

Kathy’s place was so cute and perfect for our college tour with our son! She was very flexible with check in and the house was clean and well stocked! The beds were extremely comfortable!! We will definitely book her place again when we come to town!

I had the opportunity to stay at Patricia's place on two separate nights a week apart and was delighted with the accommodations. There was more than enough space for 4 adults and a baby--with a lovely outdoor area for relaxing in. If I am ever in Eugene again, I will definitely look to stay here again!

Charming does not even begin to describe the cottage. I fell in love the minute I walked in. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen, cute furniture, great bed. Quiet and private. The yard/garden was beautiful and lush. Great location, walkable to restaurants, cafés and bars. Would highly recommend.

Great location for access to the McKenzie River. We were here for the annual 50k race, and this was a great place to prep and then recover in. The only thing I didn’t realize was that it was not air conditioned other than a small portable a/c unit in one of the rooms. Given it was a 95 degree weekend, the house got pretty hot and never really cooled off much at night. Other than that, it was a great place to make a home base for the weekend!

We really enjoyed staying in this house. It's very secluded and private, but well equipped with every kind of amenities. Would love to come and stay again. Only issue we had was difficulty in finding the place at night since there was no sign on the road and it was pretty dark

Alex and Pat's guesthouse was cozy and comfy, the perfect spot to unwind after moving our kid out of the dorms and see a concert at Cuthbert Amphitheatre! Pat was friendly and inviting, offering us a glass of wine upon our arrival. The place is exactly as described in the listing and photos. The ladder to the loft is steep so be aware of that if you have mobility issues or little kids. There is a fantastic little coffee shop right around the corner as well. Thanks for all the hospitality!

Very comfy home! We had everything we needed. Karen was an excellent host.

Lovely and spacious, this place is fantastic! We had just the 2 of us, but even 4 people would feel like they have ample space. Plenty of indoor sitting space, and outdoor patio pretty and green. Feels very private. Noreen responded to our needs super graciously. Stays cool even without A/C and would be cozy in winter I am sure too. Very easy check in and out. I love parking spot and not long from parking to door. Neighborhood is pretty and walkable. Close to many grocery (3 min to Safeway), restaurants and U of O. Even on grad and dad weekend, traffic never a problem. We will be back!

Cottage is fully stocked with everything you could need. Also a washer and dryer. Our visit was during a heat wave, 90 degree temps and the ac unit kept the place cool.

This was my second stay at Nate &Amrita’s cottage. It was as wonderful as I remembered. Nice setting in a residential neighborhood but easy to get where I needed to go. Nate and Amrita are quick to respond and. Gave clear instructions.

We had a great stay at Christy’s beautiful space among the trees. It was the perfect size for us and she was a very helpful and responsive host! She left no questions or concerns unanswered which we really appreciated. Everything was clean and tidy, with plenty of amenities available. We particularly loved that the location was separate enough from campus/busy areas so that it was quiet and comfortable, but also incredibly easy (and might I add, very beautiful) to walk to places we needed to be.

This place was absolutely amazing! She truly made it feel like it was your own home. It’s was nicely decorated and had everything you could need there. It was clear a lot of love and care was put into the place and was worth the price! It’s less than 10 minutes away from downtown Eugene. The street was really quiet and felt super cozy. Would definitely recommend to someone else and would go again! Thank you Autumn!!

Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was great. We loved sitting on the back deck/porch with a cup of coffee. Thanks for sharing your place.
