When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

The Cottage Cabin

The Cottage Cabin is a unique modern cabin. It is an addition to the Railway Lodge , Cabin area. Still private and peaceful but yet perfect for couples or bigger families to be together on this large property if needed. Plenty of space to roam ,fish , sit and relax by the fire. If you are looking for a relaxing place the Cottage Cabin is perfect. Don’t be alarmed by the Trains “ Railway Lodge” when going by pretty cool to see at night. You are secluded but still close enough to nearby towns.

After a fun day in The Driftless Area, come relax and unwind in Prairie du Chien. Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home with a spacious kitchen, large island, dishwasher, washer/dryer & 5' walk in shower. We supply all cooking/baking items/utensils so all you need are your food, drinks and ingredients. Full high-speed internet with smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub and massage chair. We love dogs too, so we provide a dog run (there is a pet fee).

American House 1854- Steamboat Landing Suite

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique boutique hotel. The American House, built in 1854 is the oldest standing building in the city of McGregor! Dr. Lucy Hobbs the first woman to graduate a dental college in the world had her dental office in this building from 1862-1865! The building is on the National Registry of Historic Places and offers a one of a kind experience you can’t find anywhere else! Enjoy the best view of the Mississippi in all of McGregor!

Take it easy, relax and enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer. Great bird and nature watching opportunities from our cabin and the decks! Our cabin has been newly renovated and is the perfect spot to explore the area. It is best suited for 1 or 2 people - 4 guests maximum (2 adults and 2 children, or 4 adults). The bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed in the same room with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. A queen sofa sleeper is located in the living room.

This cute and modern 340 sqft tiny house is an unique Airbnb experience . With all custom work inside and out it’s a must see ! Located on the beautiful Upper Iowa river in dorchester Iowa . For a romantic couples getaway , fishing trip or small family retreat, it will make your trip a special one . It features 2 open loft bedrooms ( one on each side ) 1 room with a queen bed and the other with 2 single beds. Downstairs futon can sleep 1 more adult or 2 children .

You'll hear pheasants, turkeys, and a variety of birds while sipping on your favorite beverage.
