Beachfront holiday rentals in Mazzaro'

My family and I stayed at Andrea’s house for four nights. This is one of those hidden gems that makes you truly happy when you find it. Located in a beautiful, quiet little fishing village, the house sits right by the stunning, clear sea. The peace, the view, waking up every morning with a cappuccino at the local coffee spot, the lady from the supermarket, the wedding couples getting photographed at the harbor every day, the evening beer at the same coffee place, the fish market where you can get fresh fish daily — it’s all pure joy. I’d love to come back for a week of doing absolutely nothing and just enjoying it all. The house is a lovely and cozy place. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen could use a little extra love (cleaning), but that is easily outweighed by the authentic and pure feeling you get in beautiful Pozzillo. Thank you, Andrea, for your hospitality!

It is as described in the pictures. The apartment is very close to the beach. That's great. At our time, there was a lot of construction work around the apartment and it was very loud. It is good to know that the terrace is visible to all neighbors on every side. Therefore, you have no privacy on the terrace. The accommodation is otherwise very clean and has plenty of space. The host Salvatore is very helpful and nice, everything worked out great.

We came to spend two nights with my spouse at Katerina and Andrea's and the welcome was great, very nice hosts and good advice. We have crossed paths several times and they have always had a kind word and recommendations. Very well located apartment and superb view from the terrace. We recommend!

A very convenient place, as a base for sightseeing. We had a car that could be parked easily. Beautiful views. 🤩 The apartment had everything you could need, plus a lot of space. Both the living room and the bedroom and kitchen could go out onto the balcony. On one side, there was a beautiful view of the majestic Etna, and on the other, the sea. And the roof terrace 👌🏻🤩 You could really feel the Italian atmosphere 😉 Very responsive and helpful host. I highly recommend the place 😉

Marco and his parent were the sweetest hosts. We where traveling with our two small children and they where so considerate, finding useful stuff, toys, beach towels, highchair etc. The apartment is even more beautiful in reality. Everyday we woke up to the sunrise. Unfortunately the gas went out, and the dishwasher broke while we were there. Things that sometimes happen. But the way the family helped us and responded so quickly to our needs was amazing. Useful things to know: the public transport with bus is very unpredictable. There is a noisy street right in front of the building, but the sound of the ocean is higher, so you won’t hear it that much. The apartment is located in the best part and more local restaurants are nearby. To walk to the train station from the apartment is very uncomfortable, without sidewalks on some of the road.

Alessandro's place was everything we expected and more, right on the seafront, with loads of fantastic restaurants, grocery store and few shops all on the doorstep. The Apartment, was peaceful, and had everything you need for a great holiday, home from home. Alessandro was great at recommendations, but as he said you can't go wrong with any of the restaurants and cafe's Giardini Naxos, is a really lovely place to stay, always felt safe walking around night or day, Taxi to Taormina costs 25 euro to beach 30 euro to the town, during the day but at night is around 40Euro So much to see and do on the island, which is absolutely stunning We used Sayonara Beach, Geovanni and staff were great too, great advice and not a rip off, they have a cafe and restaurant, with all the facilities needed for the day, and is only a five minute walk. Will definitely stay at Alessandro's place again and highly recommend.

Fantastic stay in a brilliant apartment! Close to all amenities and restaurants! Close enough to Taormina without being on top of the crowds! The host is super responsive and very helpful with any questions you might have! Amazing time, can’t wait to book again! ☺️

Gaia’s place was everything we hoped for! Beautiful location with balcony looking out to the beach, hearing waves at night to send you to sleep is very special! The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and more. There were little touches that made it feel like home away from home. Gaia was also very thoughtful and left us a lovely treat for our arrival. Overall we had a fabulous stay! Communication from Gaia was great, and she made sure we got in ok on the evening of arrival! I liked the door code get in, as you don’t have to worry about carrying keys. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you Gaia!

We had everything we needed for our stay at Giovanni's place, fully equipped kitchen, clean and big apartment. The place is ideal if you want to escape the crowds. And Giovanni is a welcoming host.

We had a nice time at Melina's place as a group of friends, of 3 people. We were able to reach the address easily by rental car. Without a car and in hot temperatures, the steep ascent/descent is certainly a bit challenging. We had a very early flight and were even able to get into the apartment much earlier thanks to Melina's flexibility. It would be important to mention that Melina really only speaks Italian and the check-in was a bit quick, but we understood basic information thanks to English notes. The apartment is a little out of the ordinary but fine and we got along well. Melina was always quickly available for questions and sent us a few addresses for restaurants and excursion destinations at the beginning. When checking out independently, it should be noted that the entrance gate has to be opened with the key beforehand, we had locked ourselves in the yard in the early morning hours.

Daniela's place was perfect for us! Carmelo welcomed us and showed us around the beautiful grounds and the sea access, which was our favorite part of the stay! You see all these boats (some big and fancy) pulling up to the area for snorkeling...and we had free access to it every single day of our stay - it was such a plus for us! The water is gorgeous! Daniela and Carmelo were great hosts - communication before, during, and after our stay was the best.

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Gianni and his wife were extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment is wonderfully and authentically furnished. The kitchen offers everything you need. The bathroom was clean and the bed in the bedroom very comfortable. The place and the street were wonderfully quiet at the end of September and you could relax very well. All in all, a perfect starting point to discover the east coast of Sicily. Would highly recommend!

Our family (2 adults/2 children) enjoyed a wonderful stay here in April. It is a well-equipped and good sized property with everything we needed. It is well located on the coastal road: a few minutes drive (or 20 minutes steep walk) to Taormina and also from the beaches/Isola Bella. Communication with the host was good and the building manager was very helpful with our arrival.

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

We had a great week. The property is a perfect base for excursions to Mount Etna or the Alcantara gorge. The house is beautiful and super well equipped, really everything you need is present. The pool is perfect despite you need a swim cap. The town itself is not special. It's like taking a time trip 70 years back in time. There is a lot of empty and closed. We only went here to the Pizzaria (Orso), which has great pizza's. Fortunately, there is plenty to do in Taormina, so it is not a loss.

We had a great time in Rodolfo’s apartment. It’s very close to the cable car so it was easy to get to Taormina or to the beach. Rodolfo was super kind and answered all of our questions. Parking was a bit of a nightmare but once we found a place, we didn’t bother with the car for the rest of the stay.

Amazing location in the town below Taormina. Wonderful restaurants across the street and beach access as well. The apartment was recently renovated and was lovely for a couple. Washing machine in the bathroom and AC that cooled the entire house. Wonderful place and location. Round trip bus ticket to Taormina was only €3! Don't even attempt to drive up there.

In an extremely clean, structured apartment with beautiful views of the small harbor and the sea, we felt very comfortable. From the clothes peg to a complete kitchen equipment to umbrellas, everything was really thought of. I liked the clear lines in the apartment design. And of course, the small garage is a treasure with the scarce parking space offer!

I stayed at the apartment for quite some time (~a month) and can confirm it is a lovely space to stay in! True to the listing - you have (almost) everything you need, and the hosts live right downstairs if you do end up needing anything. The view from both balconies is beautiful, with areas with both shade and sun and plenty of seating. The immediate surroundings are fairly quiet, although I admit I stayed there before the high season. There's a limited amount of shops/restaurants in quick walking distance - there is much more on offer in the city. Anything in the center of Giarre/Riposto is at least a 25/30 min walk away, but most of that is along the lovely seaside! I don't drive myself, but it seems it is a much easier way to get around both the town/the island. The train station is pretty well connected though - about 20 minutes to either Catania or Taormina. All in all, I am happy to have been hosted by Orazio & Giusy - very kind and helpful hosts to go with a very nice apartment

We were warmly welcomed and even got spaghetti with tomato sauce and a wonderful olive oil for the first meal. Everything was well explained to us and we even had heating as it got cool in the evening. The beach is a stone's throw away, just magnificent. I can only recommend it!

Beautiful apartment with amazing view of the ocean and Mount Etna (my favorite view at sunset). Very spacious for my family of 4, and has everything that we need. The location is perfect for us to make easy day trips to Catania, Mount Etna and Taormina. Thank you Maria for helping us check in and showing us around the apartment. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking to set up a homebase for exploring the east coast of Sicily!
