Villa holiday rentals in Mazzaforno

Rosellina’s property is truly magical! I cannot say enough positive things about it. Rosellina and her husband are absolutely wonderful and we were welcomed with a delicious lunch and thoughtful treats and touches. This is such a loved and authentic home in one of the most breathtaking locations. We spent a lot of time swimming and snorkelling. The neighbours are their relatives and very friendly and welcoming. It was delightful. It is true that pictures simply can’t do it justice. They have everything you will need and it is was very well-kept, clean, and organised. The mosquitos in Sicily are not to be underestimated! They supply everything you will need though which was very considerate. There are stairs down to the house which was not an issue for us at all and nice because you don’t get any road noise. Parking is off the main road so you’ll need to get comfortable with Sicilian driving! It is more than worth it. You will be lucky if you can be Rosellina’s guests!

Antonio and Debbie with their daughter greeted us. Antonio waited outside the gate to show us how to use the key to get in. The view from their patio was just like the pictures on the website. Antonio and his family gave us suggestions for restaurants near their location. You need a car to get to any restaurants or grocery stores. Antonio was very responsive to any questions we had. All in all a very nice and quite place to stay. Thanks Antonio and Debbie.

We enjoyed a quiet few days at Marco’s place. The outdoor area is beautiful and there was no one around in any of the neighbouring villas so very private. There was a lot of space inside and out. The beach is rocky so water shoes are helpful, and it does get pretty deep quickly but we enjoyed swimming daily. The tunnel to get under the roadway and to the villa is tight, about 6ft wide as the listing mentions, we just managed to get our rental car through (Citron C3) buy pulling the mirrors in. But there is parking on the main road if you can’t get in. Marco was very quick to respond and provided a lot of local recommendations. It was under an hour to both Palermo and Cefalu; a great quiet spot if you want some peace and quiet.

This vacation was pure relaxation. The view from the terrace to the pool and sea (and also from the living room with panoramic windows) is addictive! Two bathrooms was a nice surprise. Important things like supermarket, restaurants, beaches are 10-15 minutes away by car. And yes, the donkey on the neighboring property is still there and wants carrots, cucumbers and an occasional apple. The hosts are very friendly and have good tips. We would like to visit Villa Rovelle again.

AMAZING! In two years of traveling around Europe and staying in Airbnbs, this is the best house and host we have ever had. It is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful and it has everything you could possibly need. Maria Rosa is an amazing person, and she welcomes you and treats you like family, and makes you feel as if it is your house. She truly cares about her guests. There are literally no negatives about this property. I hope to come back again someday. Book it now and you will not be disappointed!!

We had a super nice stay in Aldo's accommodation. We were 4 people (2 couples) there was enough space so that everyone could retreat in this accommodation. Aldo's dad lives right behind the accommodation and was very attentive and on site for all questions and concerns. We will definitely come back! Thank you

We had a lovely 3 night stay in the Kefalure appartment, which is exactly as advertised. The complex is quiet, has a nice swimming pool and perfect location close to the beach (15 minutes walking) and Cefalu centre (25 minutes walking path along the coast line). Both Laura and Geatano are great hosts and provided us with lots of tips and suggestions. Would definitely stay here again when I visit Sicily!

Antonio’s home was a great place to stay and enjoy Palermo! Frederica was very helpful with anything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Make sure that your rental car is slightly higher off the ground to make sure you don’t scrape your car on the steep driveway to the house. After a couple times the driveway was not difficult but took some getting used to. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back!

Spectacular Villa in a Tranquil Setting A huge villa internally with an extensive outdoor area with views of the surrounding hills and coast line. Beautifully landscaped exterior and so, so peaceful! The pool was amazing. Warm without having to heat it. We loved popping in to cool down during the day. The kitchen was fully equipped, the showers were excellent and the mattresses and bedding were high quality. Maija was an excellent host. Fantastic communication before and during our stay. Advice on logistics and local attractions, restaurants, shops, etc, that really enhanced our stay. Always quick to respond to any questions we had. We cannot rate Maija and the villa highly enough. We wanted a holiday were we were comfortable and could relax. This was provided 100%. We didn't want to leave! Highly recommend this Airbnb.

We were allowed to spend 2 weeks at Diane's villa. Daniele is a very friendly and straightforward host and welcomed us superbly and gave us good tips. Everything was clean and perfect for us. Quiet and private. Great is the proximity to the sea, it's really only a few meters and the beach is nice and quiet and not crowded. Shopping nearby and close to the highway for possible excursions. We've had a lot of Airbnb stays, but this was the very best ever. As a family, we felt right at home here — and that's rare. Everything was correct: the cottage was taken care of to the last detail, fully equipped and perfectly tailored to what we needed. From check-in to checkout, everything went effortlessly, in complete privacy and with just the right balance between contact and space. The pool was lovely — a fantastic place to relax and really enjoy the outdoors. And the garden… what a work that must be to maintain, but the result is stunning. So cared for, so beautiful. It adds a lot to the peace and atmosphere of the place. Martina has thought of everything. The atmosphere, the amenities, the tranquility… It felt almost too nice to be true. We found it genuinely difficult to say good bye, and that says a lot. A place like this is rare. We will come back here with love.

Beautiful villa located with a wonderful view over the valley and Castelbouno town. The house was great with bedrooms on three different floors and the garden was very nice with many different lounge and dining areas. The pool area has amazing view and a really nice pool, though no fence so small kids must be watched. This is a perfect location for day trips to Céfalu with surroundings and we also really enjoyed Castelbouno town. Rosanna and her husband (and the dog Amica) took great care of us and were always available if we needed anything. The only minor issue was that we had a few power outages, but that was quickly fixed. We had a great time and would love to come again!

Ten day stay with adult family of 10. Everyone had their own bedroom, and there was plenty of bathroom space. Best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb we've been to. Had minor electrical problem, which was quickly addressed and fixed. Maid service very nice. Quiet area, very restful. Awesome accommodations!

Francesco was a super nice host and very helpful. highly recommend the house if you prefer beeing a little bit further away from the city but still close to a small town with options for restaurants, cafes, bakery and grocery store.

The accommodation is excellent, with all the necessary amenities. There is parking available, and it’s conveniently located close to Cefalù and Palermo. The host is always ready to help.

Danilo is an absolutely amazing host, very responsive, hospitable and helpful. It felt like home, we got a personal greeting letter, which was a very nice gesture, some treats and some recommendations about restaurants., at the end of our stay there were even some little gifts for us. The house is very clean, spacious, modern, carefully designed to be practical, with a patio, terrace, swimming pool and sunbeds and also a little playground for children. There is space for everyone. It’s located a bit up, in a peaceful area, to get there you need a car but it guarantees a very nice view onto the sea. It was a great experience. The only regret is that we stayed only for one night. Danilo, thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

We’ve chose the home online, because the place looked beautiful, and perfect for 3 people. The surroundings were just as good, as found on the pictures. The garden is very spacious, both with the outdoor kitchen and the swimming pool. This place is perfect for both trips with family or just a couple of friends. Our trip was 10/10, but our host, Andrea, made it 12/10. Not only was he a super friendly host, but also very open about local spots that are hard to find on your own, as a tourist.

Giovanni was lovely, proactive and bent over backwards to help. We had an issue with not being able to get online when we picked up our hire car. When we finally did get online we knew our arrival was going to be very late(after midnight) but Giovanni took it in his stride and was still the welcoming host when we eventually got to his villa. This was a sign of things to come, he was just brilliant! I now regard him as a friend.

We had a fabulous week in this peaceful and beautiful location. The house was well equipped and the pool area was very relaxing with stunning views towards Pettineo village and the hills and valley. An ideal place to enjoy the outdoors, there is an outdoor sheltered dining area and BBQ. You can walk into the village from the house where we found a lovely cafe/bar. Visited Palermo, Cefalu and The Valley of the Temples at Agrigento (allow at least 2 and a half hours to get there). You need a car to get about. Be aware of some winding roads and the track to the house and village is rough, but fine once you get used to it. Thank you Francesco, you were the perfect host!
