Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

The Art Garden guest cottage is a quiet sanctuary nestled in a beautiful part of Burton, on Vashon—an intimate quiet place to enjoy the tranquility of the woods. There is a fabulous view of Quartermaster Harbor from the cottage. Enjoy the comfort of a high-end Queen-sized bed and fine linens. Coffee and tea are provided to start your day then the promise of island adventure awaits. Perfect for a romantic getaway, writer's retreat, or a place to rejuvenate. The small is small but cozy. .

KVI Beach Bungalow

Our bungalow is located in the Chautauqua beach community. It is the perfect location to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. While it is not a waterfront property, the beach, known as KVI beach, is a stone's throw away. Central to the interior of the open beamed bungalow is a stone faced Envirotech masonry fireplace. Surrounding the masonry are the living room, office, dining area, kitchen and bedroom. Appliances are Fischer Paykel--propane cooktop & electric oven.

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Only five miles from the Pt. Robinson Lighthouse and the Dambo Troll sculpture, Oscar the Bird King.
