Holiday rentals with a pool in Mathews County

Our family and friends had a lovely time in Cynthia's home. The setting is very pretty, the dock was a great place to fish and crab from and the beach offers another great hangout spot. The added bonus is that her home is just a 10-minute walk to a cute little restaurant in a marina with great oysters and cocktails.

Great stay for one night! Host was really helpful.

Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

The house was in immaculate shape with all the necessities provided, all furnishings/appliances were new and the beds were comfortable. The pool and view was outstanding. Three different cooling zones kept the house cool. The dock was really nice. The pool was really large and very nice. What we liked: My daughter said she really liked the big dining room eating and looking out at the pool and the water. One son said hes bringing the boat next time. Another son said the bay location was exceptional. The son in law said the dock was awesome and he could have spent all the time there. My two daughter in laws and Wife said the interior was so comfortable and the pool was great. I like it all, the house was the nicest rental house I have stayed in over the last 40 yrs, the furnishings, the beds, pool and the Dock made it a wonderful place to stay. It was obvious to me that the owners truly care about their rental and they want you to have a nice stay. This is a really nice!

We really enjoyed our stay at Maddie's place. Lori was a responsive & attentive host, provided detailed information & instructions, and made us feel well taken care of. Maddie's place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Also, it is close to several major attractions in the area and local beaches. If you are looking for a place to disconnect & relax, Maddie's place is ideal. We would definitely stay here again!

We love East of the Sun! It’s well-appointed to create a better vacation experience - great linens, well-stocked kitchen (that you can actually cook in!), and that amazing plunge pool. Our adult kids flip a coin for the guest cottage and its bonus privacy. Cynthia and Tucker are always just a text away, and they know all the ins and outs of Cape Charles to make the visit special. After many weekend trips to town, we found this lovely home as it debuted early during the pandemic - and this was our third summer for a weeks stay since then. We love this home - it’s so much more than a house.

This home is located on a peaceful street, allowing for a good night’s rest. The attention to detail in terms of amenities and extras was impressive. What truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional communication and hospitality provided by the host. Their instructions were clear, concise, and extremely helpful, making it easy for us to settle in and make the most of our short stay. Cape Charles is a charming town, with its quaint shops, restaurants, and theater all conveniently located on Mason Avenue, making it easy to explore and find everything we needed. Spacious 2 bed/2 bath combo on a golf course in the Kingsmill Resort. Place is exactly as it looks in the photos posted and furniture was comfortable. Easy parking as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Book this condo! It was the cleanest AirBnB I’ve ever rented but was still warm and comfortable. You can tell the condo is well taken care of. The neighborhood was charming. The pool was closed but the beach within the community was nearby and quiet. We were a short drive from Cape Charles town center and parking was a breeze. The host was incredibly accommodating; her restaurant recommendations were spot on. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

What a beautiful place! Nicole and Mark had little touches to make you feel right at home. The place is close to everything we were doing, has gorgeous grounds and it was clean, clean, clean. We will definitely stay here again!
