Our family and friends had a lovely time in Cynthia's home. The setting is very pretty, the dock was a great place to fish and crab from and the beach offers another great hangout spot. The added bonus is that her home is just a 10-minute walk to a cute little restaurant in a marina with great oysters and cocktails.

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was exactly as described. Eugene was really responsive when communicating and super friendly! I would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you again for such a relaxing place to stay!

Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

We had a really nice stay at the Rose Retreat! The home is wonderfully appointed with nice furnishings. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen with upscale drink and dinnerware. The hand written welcome note, bottle of wine and snacks were so thoughtful - thank you! A perfect location from which to enjoy Irvington and the surrounding towns. We hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool!

We were in town for our son’s wedding and enjoyed our stay very much. Jason responded quickly to the few questions we had. We would definitely stay again.

We needed a peaceful, relaxing weekend away and that’s exactly what we got by choosing this AirBnB. While neighbors were close, the trees made it feel like we were secluded. The home was comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back room off the kitchen for just hanging out and chatting. Maria provided thorough details up front and was responsive during our stay. We are already planning our next trip.

My family and I enjoyed this place very much and plan to come back for our anniversary . It was very peaceful although some of the neighbors were doing some type of drill work late at night and startled our sleeping 2 year old . Other than that I felt at home #countrygirl

Look no further for a memorable and relaxing stay on the Chesapeake Bay! Our family of four (with two teens) absolutely loved our stay. From the coastal decor to the breathtaking views of the marsh and bay from all windows to the gracious supply of amenities, this one takes the cake! For families: Outdoor toys, a chest of boardgames, kid safe diningware, and plenty of space for kids to roam with the few cars down the remote gravel roads. For adults: Hot tub, full dining ware for all occasions, a FULLY stocked kitchen, a great deck, and luxuriously comfy beds. What stood out the most to me was the great care Justin and Kendyl have put into making this place fabulous! Plenty of amenities and a fully stocked house with a basket of "necessities" tailored to your stay in case you didn't bring them (ie- toiletries, bug spray, etc). Our family enjoyed fun in the sun on the little beach, kayaking, and boardgames. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Michael place was great. Well stocked and clean. I appreciated the abundance of towels and linens. Lots of space for the whole family. Kids really enjoyed the water boards and fishing. Overall a great trip!

My husband, granddaughter, and I had a delightful stay. The home is charming and the setting is peaceful. My granddaughter enjoyed the swing and playhouse. My husband and I enjoyed spending time on the front porch. We all enjoyed fishing from the dock. It was a relaxing vacation.

Our week at Kimary Cove, was absolutely delightful. The house was cozy and nicely decorated. We loved sitting at the waterfronts deck and spending our days boating and fishing. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings and charming local area made for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing vacation!

Great place. Better views! Chris made the entire process very easy. I have a boat that he helped with instructions on where to dock and how to get there by water. Will definitely be staying there again!

As a chef, I have never stayed at an air bnb with so many appliances and seasonings already available- and you’re likely to be cooking as there aren’t a ton of restaurants nearby, and they have limited hours. Cassidy was extremely responsive and pleasant! We stayed with two young toddlers which was difficult with three bedrooms on three different floors, but, luckily there were measures to prevent anyone getting out of their rooms or out to the water without assistance. The remoteness and peaceful setting was exactly what we were looking for and we had a great trip - the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. If you book here definitely check out Hatchery- a food truck which is 6 min away and definitely the best/ most interesting dining option we found!

Justin’s place was perfect for our work trip stay! The house is very spacious and clean. We loved that the house felt more up to date than some of the others in the area! Justin was great at responding and had very clear instructions!

Quiet, serine, quaint little cottage far away from city noises. Driving there is like going through an enchanted forest. The instruction book advised a waiting time in-between showers due to the septic system. A couple of times the shower actually ran out of water, as we didn't wait long enough. But the person showering was just soaking and wasn't left hanging covered in soap! After a few mins the water pressure returned and all was well. Be strategic when planning to do laundry and showers. There is no dishwasher in the kitchen, so be prepared to hand wash dishes. Not a big deal for us and I probably just overlooked that detail in the description of available amenities - not a deal breaker as we did a lot of eating out. The mattresses were memory foam - not our favorite to sleep on, but it was a good trade off for a remote location. We only used kayaks once sadly, due to being gone when it was close to high tide, but having them available was another reason we chose to stay there.

The place was very great! Expect the hot tub on the 3rd floor wasn’t working and the bugs around the area. But overall it was wonderful. The indoor elevator was nice. And I would definitely come back. This Nolan I’m 9. This is Jon . Everything was great. I do wish that the hot tub & bathroom whirl pool worked.

This was the perfect house for our multi-generation group for our last hurrah of the summer. The kids love the outdoor spaces ( pool, fishing from the pier the, huge yard), and not a single complaint from the adults. It's right on the water, it's within short driving distance to amusement parks, and great historical landmarks, kayaking tours, charter fishing. Preston is a fantastic host, Gulway at Cobb Creek is a great property. The kids are already planning to come back next summer.
