Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Matanuska-Susitna Borough

Grace and Bill were fantastic hosts. We had a last minute request and they were super responsive and accommodating. Morning breakfast was the best with Bill sharing his adventures and a yummy banana blueberry (among other delicious breakfast items). The view of Denali was a once in a lifetime experience. 11 out of 10.

We had such a great time during our stay! The place was super clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated having access to the laundry machine and it worked perfectly. Everyone working with the dogs was so friendly and easy to chat with. The dogs themselves were adorable and full of personality, it was fun getting to know them all. We also checked out the visitor center, watched a really inspiring 20-minute video about Martin’s mushing journey, and even got to try mushing ourselves! Chad was an awesome guide. He’s knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. We’re definitely cheering him on in hopes he wins an Iditarod soon!

I’m a host in Fairbanks and stayed with Susan on a road trip. Her home on the lake is magnificent! It is spotless, clean, very comfortable furnishings and a great bed. Large shower in the private bath that I had. The upstairs room I had a common room have views of the lake. But the big hit is Susan. She’s a 5 star host and knows how to make your stay a wonderful experience. The lake is so incredibly beautiful and the entire property is a place of peace.

JoAnna's property was very nice, she is remodeling so it will be wonderful when done, clean, quiet, and in an older neighborhood. Felt safe at all times. She is friendly, can tell you stories for hours about Anchorage and just a super person. I had a problem with my truck, she immediately began suggesting places she had personal knowledge of to get the truck fixed, offered to help, and even let me use her vehicle to get to work! You just don't see that kindness in most people nowadays. I plan on staying with JoAnna in the future, especially as I fly in to Anchorage from the bush every other week.

Carol's place is centrally located in Alaska and right on Lake Lucille. Her outdoor spaces were my favorite. She has a beautiful view of the lake from upper decks or anywhere in the yard. She was very hospitable and accommodating to our hectic schedule. I would stay here again and highly recommend it :)

I loved my stay at Grace and Bill. The space is exactly as described. It is very comfortable and has all you need for a long stay. Grace's banana and blueberry bread is to die for and so is her home made jam! The view from the main deck is stunning when Denali shows up

This place was amaaazing!!! Don’t know how to emphasize it enough. Location- great! Near bars and restaurants. Downtown is a few steps away. Great park nearby too!

We came to Alaska for a Memorial Day service for my deceased brother. Krista was so thoughtful in everything she did. Our stay was relaxing and fun despite the circumstances. The breakfasts were amazing and her restaurant suggestions never disappointed! We felt completely at home and well cared for. I can’t recommend them enough!

It was a great stay at Lolly’s.

David was kind and easy to have as a host. Thou his family was living there I was never bothered by them nor did we even see them. David made sure we had breakfast and even got us kripsy kreme doughnuts. I was pleased with how nice the accommodations were, also the hot tub was fantastic !

We’re from Thailand and had great stay with Edgarita. We experienced Alaskan culture and welcome. Edgarita told many interesting stories. The dogs and cat are lovely too! And the breakfast was delicious I love the omelette so much! The bed and the room are cozy and comfy. Couldn’t ask for the better place to stay in Willow. Thank you!

This was an absolutely magical and safe haven for us. After a camping trip, entering Donata and Kris’s place felt so cozy, welcoming, clean and safe. It truly feels like home- a hotel cannot compare! The bathroom was incredible - multiple jets, shower heads. An upstairs mediation room.. beautiful hot tub with a view. Cool & old restored pubroom- gives you the feeling that you have your own private dive bar with a pool table!! Kris & Donata were so so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They respond so quickly and truly make you feel so welcome in their home. 100% stay here if you get the chance !

This is a quintessential b&b with all the charm you’d except and a gracious host too! We had a lovely and spacious suite with a perfect view of the lake and luscious grounds. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful and clean. The shower and jacuzzi were nice after a week of being active and exploring Alaska. Also, the breakfast bar was very nice to have access to.

Best Airbnb stay EVER! One of our all time favorite vacations!! Zac was great about giving us lots of info even before we booked and Bonnie and Joe made our stay perfect! The guest cabins are very clean and comfortable. The outhouse and shower facilities were also clean and convenient. The real jewel though is the experience created by Bonnie and Joe is such beautiful country! They made us feel welcome from the minute we stepped off the plane and made sure that we had a fun and educational experience! The land around the lodge is so picturesque and we saw lots of wildlife: beaver, caribou, bear, moose, and assorted birds. Joe took us out on daily hikes and shared a ton of knowledge with us. Bonnie's food is to die for!! I seriously gained a pound a day when we stayed! Howie the dog also made our stay so special as we were missing our dog back home. He was very well behaved and loving! There are amazing views of Denali from many places on the property and we took the pictures of a lifetime! I also LOVED grazing on all the Berries around the property. Our coguest Tisha was also amazing; I think Caribou Lodge attracts good people! We can't wait to book our next stay! Joe and Bonnie do an outstanding job of hosting and they are wonderful down to earth people!!

Bob and Donna were amazing hosts. The most welcoming hosts we have ever seen. Bob went out of his way to help us to show Flat Top at midnight. Both helped us to understand things around Alaska for first time visitors. Best recommendations for places and restaurants as per your food choices. Best couple and host ever met. Thank You Both. Edgarita’s place is an old fashioned bed and breakfast. Edgarita opened the front door of her house and greeted us before we got out of our car. Edgarita has a menu and you get to pick what you want for breakfast. The breakfast was amazing. Not only does Edgarita feed you breakfast, she will also tell you her family’s amazing history with dog sledding. We felt like family and we were sad to leave. We 100% recommend Edgarita’s place.

Was looking for a place to stay for 1 night for a doctors appointment and this place was perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood and not too far from everything we needed to do and was very clean and tidy. We happened to meet them as we pulled up and from the very beginning they were super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely try and stay here again in the future.

Exactly what we needed for our 2 day stay in Anchorage. I stayed with my wife and son. The location is a walking distance to downtown restaurants and bars. The unit was clean and private. The common areas were clean and welcoming. Light breakfast provided is and excellent bonus. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I would give 10 stars if I could. We stumbled into this most wonderful farm with the most wonderful people incredible meals, it was like family. I can’t describe it any better than that. You should definitely go!
