Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Matakana Island

Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

We had a lovely stay at Rachel’s place. The apartment is in a great location, a few metres away from the hot pools and walking distance to the Mount, beach and shops. The apartment is cosy and had everything we needed - including some fun board games. Thank you for having us.

Great place to stay on the water with a great view of the river. The unit was spotless and couldn't be faulted. There is an omission from the website as the unit does come with a washer AND dryer (not always easy to find) which we found fantastic having spent time elsewhere beforehand. Both Bronwyn and Kathie were great to talk to and informative on the area and things to do. Definitely recommend our unit (B) which was was upstairs.

Wonderful place. Hosts very kindly moved out booking due to a medical event. The place was perfect with a swim each morning and a walk up the mount. Will defiantly stay again.

We had such a wonderful time! This is truly a beautiful Airbnb in a stunning location. It had everything we could possibly need and Robyn made us feel right at home. Our son enjoyed all the toys, puzzles and wanted to go kayaking as soon as his eyes opened in the morning. We will be back!

Exactly as described, even with the road side parking it was great to be greeted by such a friendly dog and the place was quiet and relaxing. Perfect place to call base while in the area.

The place was nice & tidy and looked exactly like the pictures. The host was super responsive, which made communication with them easy. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend some time in Tauranga & specifically Papamoa.

The Starling Box is definitely the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! Janina is an exceptional host - she gave us a lovely, warm welcome and showed us all around her beautiful, modern home. The home itself is clean, well appointed and has all the comforts of home. We appreciated the extra touches that are evident throughout the house that make everything cozy and comfy - from warm blankets to a well kitchen stocked with delicious breakfast items, coffee, tea and snacks. The space is peaceful and inviting, and you can feel the love that went into every detail of this fantastic Airbnb. We had an amazing stay here. We were a group of 2 families with 4 adults and 7 kids and it fitted us perfectly. The spa was a hit as was the big room downstairs with the tv. Great kitchen space with everything we needed. House was warm with heat pumps and heaters. We had all our bikes and felt safe leaving them on the cars overnight as the property is up a hill and relatively secluded. Amazing views! Hosts were responsive and helpful. We’ll be back again!

We enjoyed our stay. Affordable accommodation in the heart of the Mount. Sienna was very accommodating.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The apartment itself is so spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The location was close to everything- we walked everywhere the weekend. Will most definitely be back - this is the perfect place for a weekend in the Mount!

The apartment was perfect. Good underground parking. Close to the venue we were attending. Just a couple of minutes walk to the city centre and restaurants. Very quiet. Arihia and Char were excellent hosts.

We had a very nice time in a very vibrant part of town a little noisy but fun, it is an apartment so not all rooms have windows and our host was fun and very friendly

Excellent location. Close to everything. Clean and tidy, well lived in, apartment. Very small 2nd bedroom (office size) straight off the lounge. Perfect for us though, we enjoyed our stay. Brooke was a great- excellent comms.

Short drive from the airport, Close to lots of amazing cafes, the beach, and hot pools. Fantastic views from the top of Mount Maunganui - worth the climb. Hot pools were great to soak away any aches after the climb.
