Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Mata de Plátano

It was a beautiful stay for our family trip. The view alone is worth the stay, but a/c in the rooms really was the icing on the cake. Jose was kind and helpful. He met with us to take us to the house so we'd know which route to take. If you're staying in the area, I'd recommend the home.

Hector's place was very nice, comfortable and inviting! He did everything he could to make us feel at home which was really appreciated! I always generally give hosts 5 stars accross the board but I gave 3 stars for the location i believe, not because of any fault on Hector but in the morning there is a Cock that crows VERY loudly. I can sleep through anything but for future guests I just wanted you all to know that it is a reality. Also there are some nice photos of mountain side in the description, just want you all to know that it's not connected to the rental but merely beautiful shots of Puerto Rico. Its not secluded at all but the neighborhood is calm. Again, this was a very nice place and Hector was very kind but I wanted to give an honest review! God Bless!

Had a great weekend with the family. The place was super peaceful and private. A lot of space for the kids to play. We had a power outage on the island this weekend and the house was super prepared for that. Super fun, and comfortable for families.

Absolutely phenomenal rental and Ashley is awesome! The home was spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and well stocked. We loved every moment. Ashley was super responsive, super clear, and helpful when we needed anything! I would definitely stay here again.

The Happy Yellow Beach house was everything we needed! It was a great location for us to explore Puerto Rico! The home provided all the amenities and space we needed for 6 adults. The pool, hot tub and outdoor spaces were great! We would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay here and felt very safe in the neighborhood. If you are traveling with young kids, the house is perfect - they had a pack and play set up (I asked ahead of time), and they also have a kids table, kids plates/cups, and some toys. It was the perfect amount of space for our family (there were 8 of us in total). We loved being a short drive away from the beach and kiosks. One tip (unrelated to the home) - if you are visiting El Yunque, check your GPS route before driving to make sure it takes you on to Route 3 first. Our GPS took us through back roads only, which were VERY narrow (for 2 way traffic) and were nerve wracking to drive through if you’re not used to that. Going back home, we took Route 3 and felt much more confident taking those roads. Again, nothing to do with the house itself (house was great!), just a heads up regarding driving directions if you’re headed to the rainforest.

I can’t say enough about this property! It’s a little slice of paradise. Even though it’s in a neighborhood it’s extremely private. The porches and pool area make you feel like you are at your own resort. The location is close to anything you might want to do in the east side of the island and Kevin provides a manual with excellent recommendations for restaurants, beaches, activities etc. We took advantage of so many but also used the well equipped kitchen and grills to eat in. The beach gear and towels were appreciated as were the washer/dryer. We had a couple of questions during our stay and Kevin was extremely responsive. Our family of 6 travelers, ages 13-74, had an awesome week!

Nathan AND his house were amazing! Not only was he responsive to our needs, but he came by when we had a minor issue with a toilet. Every time I messaged him, he responded almost instantly. The house was amazing and when you walk out of the front of the house, you have a beautiful view of the mountains of El Yunque. I loved that each room has its own AC unit, so each person can adjust it to their comfort level. My kids loved the chickens and they would wait outside the back door for my kids to come out and hang out with them. Keep in mind that the sun rises on the island SUPER early, so the roosters will be awake around 3am. But that wasn't a problem for us. The kitchen was great and I cooked every day we were there. There is a grocery store called Famcoop Rio Grande nearby and that's where we did most of our shopping. Just make sure you bring your own bags (it's better than Walmart and easier to get to). Overall, this house was amazing and we would love to stay here again!

Very large house in a good location. Great for large groups. Ryan always responded quickly to questions. Nice pool/ patio area. The Master suite has a private bathroom. 1 bedroom downstairs has a small full bath next to it, but the 3rd bedroom’s closest bathroom (full) is outside in the covered patio area, and it is small too. The upstairs is like a separate apartment with kitchen, and 2 bedrooms that share a full bath. Can go through outside patio to stairway to reach it.

Eduardo’s place was perfect for our group of 6 adults. The beach was walking distance and we also enjoyed the pool. We took advantage of having a kitchen to cook some of our meals. Appreciate the basket of beach towels provided. Check-in was easy and grateful for accommodating a late checkout request. Communication was great — he was always responsive. Thank you!

Tuvimos a nuestros clientes hospedados en la propiedad y quedaron completamente satisfechos y complacidos con su estadía. Los espacios son muy bonitos, cómodos y exactamente como se muestran en las fotos. La vista es simplemente espectacular, y el ambiente transmite una paz increíble. La ubicación también es ideal: a solo 5 minutos de excelentes restaurantes desde pizzerías, restaurantes de comida criolla y restaurante mejicano, un colmado cercano y con fácil acceso. ¡Gracias por todo y muchas bendiciones! Great place to stay: modern, comfortable and close to the beach. Super clean and had everything we needed. Carlos is a wonderful host answering all my questions within minutes. It’s conveniently located to places to eat and stores. Checkin/checkouts are super easy.

This was the perfect stay for our group. It was very spacious and comfortable! Every room had its own bathroom which was great and saved us lots of time!

Javier was such a great host and the property was as advertised. A group of us visited for my wife’s birthday. He was very proactive in communicating details about check-in and sent detailed recommendations for local restaurants, bars, and other attractions. Any time we had a question, he was always quick to respond and very friendly. He even stopped by on my wife’s birthday with a delicious strawberry chantilly cake for our group to celebrate with her. It was just an awesome experiment we’d recommend anyone visiting Puerto Rico stay here.

Mrs Renee was very attentive even before I made it to the villa. I had to fly out of Newark and she was forwarding information she would see about news with delays or cancellations. She was very responsive and provided very good instructions to get to and out of the grounds where the villa was. From the gate to the villa is quite a distance but she advised of this in advance. A car is a must, not so much of an option, if you’re staying at this villa. The place was cozy with a beautiful view. The place was clean and she had a very kind gesture for my daughter since it was her sixteenth bday. Overall, the place was perfect for our short stay.

This stay was perfect! I definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a rainforest getaway with your significant other.

Una joya escondida! Esta cabaña rústica en medio del campo pero a la vez cerca de todo fue el escape perfecto. Rodeada de naturaleza y una paz increíble. Mi estadía en esta cabaña fue maravillosa! Espero volver pronto!

The cabin was perfect for what I was looking for. Peaceful, with high mountain views. The spot is peaceful and private, just me and the coqui's! It's a small cabin, with camping vibes. It's also contemporary and well stocked. The local people were welcoming and warm as well. Highly recommended for a jungle chill out.

5/5 – Absolutely Amazing Stay! This villa was perfect!! Everything we could have asked for in a tropical getaway! The space was beautiful, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host’s communication was excellent, making the entire process seamless. A couple of small notes: The humidity inside could be noticeable on some days, but that’s to be expected in paradise. Also, the villa is connected to another, so you can hear some noise from the other side. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but there were a few moments when our kids woke up due to other guests—though I’m sure they heard my toddler running around too! The villa offers a true el campo experience, which was exactly what we were looking for! Plenty of insects and animals around, but that’s just part of the charm. The neighbors were all friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. Uber does come out here, but it takes a while, so renting a car is a must if you want to explore the island.

Un lugar tranquilo rodeado de naturaleza. Te hace sentir en paz. Le pedí que decorara por la celebración de cumpleaños y Ashley ( la muchachas que limpia el airbnb ) lo decoró y le quedó hermoso cada detalle que ir le pedí lo hizo. Estaba todo limpio, fogata me encantó.
