Charming cottage with jacuzzi, Gironde

CatieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

Quiet house in Pessac-sur-Dordogne

Hi Stephanie First of all, I apologize for taking so long to leave a comment 🙏 We were very well received and pleasantly surprised by all the beautiful attentions for us and especially for our 5-month-old son. We felt a lot of kindness and professionalism to satisfy us and it was wonderfully successful 😃 The accommodation is impeccable, there is nothing to complain about, beautiful and refined. Outside, a small haven of peace 🪷 Thank you again for everything, we'll be happy to come back. Emmanuelle, Theo and Ennio

Nice house

LaurentRating, 5 stars22 months ago
We spent a week with family at Valerie's, and it exceeded our expectations. let's start with our host who was lovely, responsive and had very good tips. We were very well hosted and were able to taste her wine and vegetables from the garden among others!!! As far as the accommodation is concerned, it is perfectly as described, in the middle of nature , the children loved both the pool and the ping pong table and they particularly enjoyed the walks in the vineyards day or night when we were lucky enough to meet hare and deer!!! In short, I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely Country House with Pool

simonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We wanted a peaceful and undisturbed break from our busy working lives, just the two of us (for the first time in several years), we wanted a pool and a small property that would probably enjoy some warm weather at the end of May. Lavender Cottage and Janie (who was based less than 100m away) delivered all of our requirements and more - the property was perfect for our needs, it was gloriously quiet, the pool was warm enough to enjoy, and any queries we had Janie was only too happy to respond to. My wife's birthday fell on a French Bank Holiday and some venues were not open so Janie stepped in and kindly sorted out a reservation with a local Restaurant which was very kind of her - and was a great venue for a meal. The markets we went to locally were excellent and our visit to the Naked Vigneron to see the vines and taste them and have lunch hosted by the Yorkshire born Moores was great activity to consider - All in all just, what the doctor would have ordered (if asked)

House with private pool in Bordeaux vineyards!

AlistairRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the lazy lizard and really enjoyed our time there. We are a family of 3 generations and the accommodation catered for everyone. The children loved the play room and couldn't wait to play in there most days. The pool and trampoline were also used often. The vines surrounding the windows and the views were our favourite part. The children said it made them feel like they were waking up in a Disney castle each morning. Fredrik was a wonderful host and was immediately responsive. We had a issue and he immediately did everything in his power to sort it out, which is all we can ask for in a host. We recommend this place especially if you are bringing young children as ours had so much fun there. Thank you Fredrik for a wonderful stay at your beautiful home.

The Orangery

LeslieRating, 5 stars22 months ago
We booked l'Orangerie for a family celebration and we couldn't have been more delighted with Jeanne's home. 16 of us were comfortably accommodated, the house and grounds were gorgeous and the facilities exceeded our expectations. She is a warm, gracious, attentive and thoughtful host. Her family is delightful and they all were so helpful and kind. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to relax and be with our family!

Luxurious country house (pool, sauna, spa)

BethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My family & I have just spent a perfect week at La Closerie and we all wholeheartedly echo all that was written in the very first review (March 25). There is, quite simply, nothing negative to say. Marilyne & Jeremy were the perfect hosts who could not have made us feel more welcome. Marilyne told us that their dream was to create a space where several generations of the same family could gather and create beautiful memories and, my goodness, they have achieved their dream! We truly could not have enjoyed our stay more. Blessed with beautiful weather, we spent the majority of the week enjoying time in the garden, be it by the pool, long lunches and evening meals around the table, or just marvelling at the rolling hills that surround the property. Marilyne and Jeremy write about La Closerie being a haven of peace; a refuge where one will find rest and relaxation and this is absolutely the case. Each member of my family sincerely hopes to return one day… A very special stay indeed…
