Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Massarosa

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

We hebben een week doorgebracht in het huis van Stella en Tessa. Het is een sfeervol en authentiek ingericht appartement. Het ligt tussen de bergen omringd door olijfbomen maar steden zoals Lucca en Florence liggen niet ver weg. Het huis was heel schoon en lekker koel bij warme temperaturen. Er is voldoende schaduw rondom het huis. We hebben een kookles bij Stella gevolgd, dit was leerzaam en heel gezellig. Stella bedankt voor je vriendelijkheid, de heerlijke Italiaanse gerechten en je tips over de omgeving. Groeten, Margret en Toin

Silvia et son mari sont très sympathiques et accueillants . Le logement est fidèle aux photos . La maison est très propre et accessible facilement dans un village très calme avec épicerie à 100m à peine . Facile pour se garer. Et concernant la vue de la terrasse , elle est à couper le souffle et tellement reposante. La literie est impeccable et linge de maison à disposition . Grandes villes à visiter à proximité . Plage à 15 min en voiture. Merci à Silvia pour tout

Wie auch die anderen Gäste waren wir rundum zufrieden und wurden unglaublich herzlich empfangen. Es ist eine ganz wundervolle Familie. In der Unterkunft war alles vorhanden was man zum gut leben und für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt. Wir haben tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen bekommen und uns total wohl gefühlt. Francesco ist ein sehr charmanter, hilfsbereiten Gastgeber, mit dem wir nette Gespräche hatten. Ganz besonders toll fanden wir die Fürsorge für Kinder. Unser Kind liebte die bereit gestellten Spielzeuge, den grossen Garten und die Katzen. Ganz klare Empfehlung.

Whether you’re heading to Florence, Pisa, or the charming hill towns, everything is within easy reach. House: Well-equipped and comfortable, with all the listed amenities in perfect working order. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

Das Haus war sauber und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Alltag braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Ilaria war jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert – alles hat super geklappt. Das Highlight ist der große, sehr gepflegte Garten mit vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen – ein richtig schönes, grünes Paradies. Der Pool macht das Ganze noch besser. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Wow! One of the most wonderful Airbnb I had the pleasure to stay in all my travels around the world. The view on the ocean from the terrace was stunning. We spent hours there just looking at the sea. Everything in the house is tastefully organized. Lola was so friendly and welcoming, she is a really nice host. I’m hoping to return and spend more time to explore the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Bryan and Sara! Reaching the accommodation requires a short hike, but you’re rewarded with stunning views – and the luggage is conveniently brought up by a small tractor. From the very beginning, everything was perfect. The house, garden, and pool are absolutely beautiful – a true little paradise. Everything was clean and lovingly maintained. Bryan and Sara are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who do everything they can to make your stay special. Since we arrived late, Sara kindly offered to prepare a lovely dinner for us, and Bryan gave us a little pizza-making class – such a great experience! Their helpfulness and kindness, combined with the magical charm of the accommodation, made our stay truly unique and unforgettable. Thanks a lot :)

Das Inserat der Unterkunft bietet bei weitem nicht die wunderschöne Landschaft der Unterkunft ab! Es gibt zig versteckte Plätze im Garten, in denen man entspannen kann. Am besten gefiel uns die tägliche Radfahrt nach Lucca mit den von Anita bereitgestellten Fahrrädern. Call me by your name Szenen in real life! Ebenfalls toll war die Nähe zum Strand Marina di Vecchiano, welcher als Art Geheimtipp gilt im Vergleich zu den überlaufenen Stränden bei Viareggio. Der Grill der Unterkunft eignet sich perfekt für ein gemütliches Barbecue, wenn man genug von Pizza und Pasta hat. Die Küche reicht vollkommen aus um sich mittags jegliche Gericht zu zaubern. Außerdem gibt es eine Dartscheibe, mit welcher man sich gut die Nachmittage vertreiben kann. Die einzigen Nachteile waren für uns: Der Pool war leider etwas niedrig mit 1,10m. Die Gegend hat eine leichte Mückenplage, wobei Anita uns Material zur Verfügung stellte um dem entgegenzuwirken. Alles in allem eine wunderbare Unterkunft!!

Wunderschön in der Natur gelegene Unterkunft in den Bergen weit weg vom Trubel. Super sauber und sehr gut ausgestattete Unterkunft. Traumhaft schöner Garten und toller Pool. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne nochmal wieder.

Olga's villa is absolutely stunning. Our family of 9 had the most wonderful visit. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful and well appointed kitchen, eating outside on the terrace, swimming in the pool, and relaxing outside on the terrace, enjoying the peaceful beauty and breathtaking views of Tuscany. Olga's place is truly special. Olga was very communicative, helpful and kind. We highly recommend her villa to others.

Merveilleux séjour dans cette villa de rêve à la vue imprenable et aux extérieurs magnifiques. Lorenzo est très accueillant, disponible, reactif et gentil, je ne saurai que recommander cet endroit où nous avons passé 5 jours inoubliables. Les intérieurs sont également très fonctionnels, tout était très propre et bien pensé !

Wir hatten einen zauberhaften Aufenthalt auf dem Anwesen von Ottavio. Nach einem herzlichen Empfang und sehr umfangreichen, hilfreichen Tipps für die Gegend blieb für uns nur noch eins zu tun: Entschleunigen. Die ruhige Lage mitten in der Natur sind ideal, um absolut abzuschalten. Es fehlt einem an nichts! Das Häuschen war gemütlich eingerichtet, das Bett sehr bequem & entgegen unseren Vorstellungen gab es wenig Insekten. Das Schlafzimmer ist sehr kühl und dunkel - perfekt für erholsame Nächte. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass unser Hund seine Freiheit ausleben konnte, unser und Ottavio‘s Hund waren wirklich Freunde und haben täglich gespielt. 😊 Unseren ganz lieben Dank für die wunderbare Zeit! Gerne wieder! ✨

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe von Freunden dort und hatten einen super schönen Urlaub! Der Gastgeber Juri war sehr freundlich und hat sofort auf Fragen geantwortet. Das Haus war groß und bestens ausgestattet. Im Haupthaus und im kleineren Haus am Pool gab es jeweils eine Küche. Man kann auf der Terrasse sehr schön mit allen zusammen essen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man knappe 10min, nach Lucca ins Stadtzentrum 15min und ca. 30min nach Pisa. Für uns war die Lage perfekt. Vor Ort ist es ruhig und wir hatten keine direkten Nachbarn.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt bei Francesca sehr gut gefallen. Ihre Unterkunft ist wunderschön und die Lage herrlich. Francesca ist eine sehr freundliche Person, mit der man sich gut unterhalten kann und die ihren Gästen gerne hilft, wenn man eine Frage hat. Besonders toll fanden wir den Garten mit Pool, die Ruhe und die Aussicht auf Barga. Vielen Dank, Francesca!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely accommodation in beautiful surroundings very much. Kate was very helpful and communicative. She very kindly left us some food (and Prosecco!) as our flight was delayed which meant we missed the supermarket visit prior to checking in. She made recommendations for thermal baths when we showed interest in these and she delivered a little bottle of delicious limoncello as an extra treat during our 5-night stay! The view from the pool is amazing and swimming and lounging on the sun beds in that area were very relaxing. The drive to the accommodation is quite challenging up a narrow, steep mountain road with hairpin bends, which did give us the willies when driving there, especially in the dark! But all in all a wonderful stay - thank you!

Absolutely stunning, authentically Italian cottage in the mountains of Tuscany. Rosella was a fantastic and welcoming host. A great spot for exploring Tuscany. The only drawback was the very steep hill - pack your trainers/ walking shoes.

Thankyou Brian (and family) for what was an unforgettable magical experience. The villa far surpassed all our expectations. The villa is beyond beautiful and oozes rustic charm, perfect for a large group. Rooms were clean and with beautiful views (on the top floor) to wake up to, so much so that it felt like a dream. Bathrooms were lovely and higher spec than expected for such an old building. swimming pool serves it's purpose, but it's in a gorgeous garden amongst olive groves....stunning. Brian and family were the perfect balance of keeping in touch and ensuring we had everything we needed whilst ensuring that we felt we had the place to ourselves, a perfectly ran operation. We arranged a dinner one evening in the house cooked by Brian's mother which was an amazing experience to enjoy such a wonderful setting with friends. thank you Brian! we already hope to return in future.

I'm having trouble squeezing all the great things we experienced during our week at Le Casette in a short review. It's the most amazing peaceful location, while you still have the chance to have an absolutely tasty dinner in the town in the valley. You have the chance to go on a picturesque hike, starting from the house, and then arrive back and chill on the terrace with your carbonara and prosecco while fireflies light up the forest. It's just... perfect. Marco is a super nice host, but really, everyone we met up there was just so kind, you are greeted with Italian hospitality at its best here. We got valuable recommendations for activities and Marco is the most responsive host I ever met. The house itself is a jewellery box, such nice details and we found it very comfy and spacious. Embrace the Panda and take a chance on this gem of an accommodation. :)

Die Unterkunft ist total liebevoll eingerichtet und riecht unfassbar toll durch die vielen Duftkerzen. Es beschert einem direkt ein schönes Gefühl. Zur Begrüßung hatte Lisa uns einige Leckereien im Kühlschrank sowie auch zum Frühstück zu Verfügung gestellt. Damit hatten wir wirklich nicht gerechnet. Auch zum kochen findet man alles was man benötigt. Man kann mit dem Auto oder dem Bus vieles gut erreichen. Zusammengefasst wir hatten ein paar tolle Tage bei Lisa.

Abbiamo soggiornato due giorni presso questa struttura. Host molto gentili e disponibili, ci hanno anche dato dei consigli su cosa visitare in zona! Alloggio pulito e come da descrizione…consigliatissimo!

Als erstes ist hervorzuheben, dass Fabio ein ganz wunderbarer, zuvorkommender und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber ist. Das Haus ist liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Dorf liegt inmitten der Berge der Garfagnana und zusammen mit seiner Umgebung ist es eine Oase der Ruhe. Von Bagni di Lucca aus, führt eine 7 Km lange enge, kurvenreiche Straße nach Lugnano- Monti di Villa. Auf der Strecke passiert man noch 2 weitere kleine Dörfer. Eines davon ist Granaiola, wo man bei Laura superlecker essen kann. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :-) Anne und Helga

We had a wonderful stay, the house really felt like a home and was instantly relaxing. The whole booking and check in process was very straightforward and Giuseppe who met us to show us around the property and hand over the keys was very welcoming, kind and informative. The house has wonderfully peaceful location, with beautiful views. It has been furnished with excellent taste, and so adds to the feeling of being in a real home rather than a rental. The gardens and pool are delightful and evenings on the loggia will be remembered for a long time, we cant wait to return!
