This place is an absolute gem. It is one of the nicest places we found in Portugal. The house is located in a small vineyard. Beds were comfortable. There’s a wood fired barbeque a great outdoor covered area and a beautiful infinity pool. Every morning we had fresh bread delivered to our doorstep. We picked lemons and oranges from around the house and had the host deliver us fruit. It was beautiful and quiet. The only negative is that we enjoy the place so much we did not visit any of the surrounding areas😊. If we had any questions, the host was response almost immediately with suggestions for places to go restaurants, markets. We had an excellent day and would return and stay there again anytime. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely highly recommended.

After 5 nights spent in this beautiful place I had a hard time leaving it... I got depressed and cried so much this place is perfect, that's to say! In fact, if I could buy this property, I would do it without hesitation 💫 Honestly, I'm still shocked by this breathtaking view... whether you're in bed, on the terrace, in the hot bath or in the pool, it's just sublime, incredible, bewitching... I don't have enough adjectives to describe this place, all I know is that I would like to go back as soon as possible ✨️ PS: remember to buy something to make a fire for the barbecue and the brazier (with marshmallows)

An absolutely beautiful house, situated in the Douro Valley. Incredibly peaceful location up in the hills. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped. The pool is lovely and was definitely needed as the weather was glorious. Lovely patio area to sit and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Very responsive hosts - just a wonderful week away in Portugal!

We loved our stay, thanks again to Jorge. Everything was perfect, a haven of peace. We wanted a relaxing vacation and that's exactly what this house offers. The horses are a real plus, it was a pleasure to see them every day. The setting is beautiful and the house is very well equipped, we didn't miss anything. We'll be back as soon as we can!

On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

Mrs. Alexandra was simply impeccable! Breakfast was excellent and very homemade, check-in was very fast, we felt enormous peace on the farm! We went to spend New Year's Eve and loved the treats they left us. We definitely want to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool!

Luís had me feel welcome from the start! I had trouble navigating myself, but Luís assisted me and I got there in the end :) the house is so cute, perfect situated and has everything you need. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for tranquility! Luís Shop, filled with local goods and especially his world class chestnut honey is definitely worth a stop while you’re there.

The location was first class with stunning views. The location was about 20 minutes from the nearest restaurants and supermatkets.

We went for a few days a group of 6 adults and 6 children/babies. The host made it very easy for us to check in and check out, in addition to being available for any questions. The house is very large, with spacious spaces for children. We matched bad weather so we couldn't enjoy much of the outdoor area, but we were able to do a barbecue since it's covered, plus the house was very warm and cozy. Very good overall cleanliness and comfortable beds. The kitchenware is a bit dated, but it's enough. Both the host and the people in the village of Soeima are super nice and helpful. Repeat experience!

Thank you Tania for our amazing stay in Fafião!! We immediately felt at home and loved ever single thing. The guest book and Pin wall where all previous guests could leave their "personal message" was such a nice addition! The surroundings are beautiful (especially as seen from the jacuzzi ;)), and the local bars/restaurants/stores are run by the kindest people. Every single time we needed help, Tania responded immediately and with very detailed and useful answers! In case you are looking for a "remote" location where you can enjoy hiking during the day and relaxing at night, this really is the place for you. Once again thank you Tania for your hospitality, will definitely recommend you to anyone who wants to explore Peneda-Gerês :)

Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

The countless reviews say it all: this place and Murilo's hospitality are both exceptional. Best to check it out for yourself as my review won't do it justice. This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

As far as we are concerned, the accommodation gets 5 stars. The apartment is neat, has an extensive kitchen and a private roof terrace. In addition, we were allowed to use the communal garden and swimming pool. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. In addition, you can also walk to the underlying lake within a minute, where you can swim! The nature in the area is beautiful, but very remote. Porto is a 1.5 hour drive and is definitely worth a day trip. All in all, we would definitely recommend the accommodation for a week of recharging in nature. The host is also very nice, her father kindly welcomed us, there was a bottle of wine and cheese ready for us and later we got fresh eggs from their own chickens. Finally, he even washed our car just before departure. Really sweet!

The amazing house with its beautiful surrounding felt like a little paradise for us - the best place to relax, enjoy nature but also has great options for hiking or other activities. We can highly recommend this gem plus the owners raquel und miguel are super friendly :-)

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.
