Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Mascali

We came by taxi from the airport. Antonietta waited for us in the apartment and told us about what we saw around us, gave tips on restaurants and told us about dishes you should try when you are in Aci Castello. The apartment was well equipped, but we were probably too late to use the mosquito spray. Walking distance to Aci Trezza and Catania is also not far away (by bus). After purchasing swimming shoes, we tried a small swim in the sea that lies just below the apartment. Here it must be said that we had problems both getting in and out of the sea due to large rocks that had to be forced. The apartment is well equipped and we bought food and ate breakfast "at home", also made a couple of dinners in the city to eat out. The terrace was fantastic and we sat outside all the time, except when we wanted to watch the national match between Norway and Italy (which Norway won). I highly recommend both the place and the apartment.

We came to spend two nights with my spouse at Katerina and Andrea's and the welcome was great, very nice hosts and good advice. We have crossed paths several times and they have always had a kind word and recommendations. Very well located apartment and superb view from the terrace. We recommend!

Giuseppe was a fantastic host - very kind, helpful, and quick to respond. The apartment is in a great location and offers garage parking included in the price, which is a huge plus in a city with kind of chaotic traffic. It is spacious and provides everything needed for a comfortable stay

Anita’s place is so cute! We really enjoyed our stay here, and she was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. It was a nice short walk up to the town center. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Taormina!

It's an amazing village! And Cesare is a great host! The arancini at 20m are super good, the bar is typical and friendly, and there are very nice walks all around. My only regrets: not staying longer, and not speaking Italian well to be able to communicate with the inhabitants of the village who are very friendly.

Everything was fabulous. It was very close to the parking and in the part of town that was not as busy. Caterina was very helpful with making us beach reservations and giving us recommendations for everything we needed. It was enjoyable to sit on the patio and drink a glass of wine in the evening.

A very nice accommodation in a great location! The small balcony on a typical Sicilian alley was wonderful and the apartment is located directly in a side street to Via Etna - it doesn't get any more central. The only small downside: There was a bit of mold in the bathroom, which you could smell quite easily, but you could ventilate. The air conditioning worked great and the bed was also very comfortable. Everything very clean. Also a great value for the money - we loved it!

We spend wonderful week at Alfio's place. All good reviews are hundred percent correct. View is amazing! Flat is very clean and cosy. There is air conditioning for every room separately. It's everything what you need and even more. Flat is simple but everything is solid and good quality. The area is great. All aperitivo we had on the terrace was with amazing view, quiet area and we were really satisfied. Hosts are very helpful and were responding to us very fast :) We will go back for sure :) Grazie di cuore :)

We were very pleased with our stay. Alessandro was very communicative, at check-in, in case of problems, when transferring our daughter to the airport. We enjoyed the small terrace very much, but it felt almost directly by the sea. We can only recommend the apartment. Volker and Iris

Well-located apartment in the village. Michele was very nice and welcomed us! Only negative point: the shower was not clean Big plus: the roof terrace with an incredible view of the valley and Etna

We loved our stay at Katia’s and Ricardo’s. They were so welcoming and accommodating, just as many of the other reviews have said. We had thunder storms the first day, and as my son had a broken arm and couldn’t get his cast wet they kindly let us check in early which really helped us. The apartment itself is really clean, equipt with everything you need. The garden space is just beautiful, the views, the fruit trees, the pool and hot tub! We really appreciated that space and was great for the children. You do need a car to get around, but they have a gated drive so you could park safely. They is so much to do in the surrounding area. We spent most of our time in Taormina, it was our favourite place. We also went to mount etna which our kids loved. If you have any questions Katia is very helpful, and very quick to respond. I would highly recommend for families or couples

The accommodation is cozy and invites you to relax. The surroundings are quiet and the view is awesome. However, it is recommended to have a car on site as shopping facilities are limited in the small village of Puntalazzo. The next major city (Giarre) is about 20 minutes by car, but that's perfectly fine. The parking facilities directly in front of the house can be challenging depending on the car as it is a bit angled. However, there is a parking lot 1 min away. Orazio is a great host, he is quick to respond and gives good recommendations for the area and restaurants. He is extremely interested in enriching the stay and is always easily accessible🤩 Absolutely top. 👍

It’s tucked away in a quiet little alley, which made it very peaceful, yet it’s just a short walk to the main shopping areas and all the key tourist spots in the city.
