Villa holiday rentals in Martigues

A beautiful house with a large, almost secluded garden with a pool. You can relax there very nicely and get away from everyday life. The building is tastefully furnished. Overall, we were very satisfied. The access, especially the courtyard entrance, is very narrow. With a large sedan or SUV, you will have problems parking there.

Thomas’ place was perfect for our group of 5! The place is absolutely stunning- the photos don’t even do it justice. Thomas and Dorine were both great communicators - Dorine welcomed us for an early check in despite having guests the night before. We so appreciate their flexibility and communication. Lastly- location!!! Walkable to restaurants and town and to several beach options. Can’t recommend this place enough! We’d be so lucky to come back someday.

We had a great time. The property is amazing, with a simply beautiful view. Located 25 minutes from Marseille, the geographical location is ideal for enjoying a peaceful holiday. The welcome was perfect, Brice was good advice and always available. Thank you so much.

As we drove inside the garden gate, all three of my kids sighed and they asked "Mama, how did you findnthis house? It is so beautiful." This house is a gem in terms of location, garden, pool and proximity to Marseille and Martigues. However, it locates in a secluded area, so the only thing you hear is the birds, tree leaves, water stream of the pool (and your own children). The house was clean and peacefull. But to me, the most important thing was how welcoming and friendly Isabelle and André were. Recent times I had very bad experience with some couple of hosts. but this couple is...I think one of the best hosts ever. So, do not think twice. Go ahead and rent it. Read the instructions and the description of the house well (I did not and missed some couple of points) and if you have any questions Isabelle and André will help you immediatly. Thank you guys. Shiny Villa is a beautiful peaceful villa that has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The photos and descriptions of the villa are accurate and the pool is clean. The villa is well maintained and private. It’s in a great location for exploring the villages and towns of the Provence, if you can drag yourself away from the fabulous pool. Sandrine is a super host, responsive and informative. There is a boulangerie and cafe in the village (5 minute walk) and supermarkets and other shops 10 minutes away by car. Our stay at Shiny Villa was a highlight of our travels around France.

It's impossible to appreciate what a special house this is until you walk through the door. Every aspect of it is fascinating, beautiful and well conceived. Each of the five bedrooms have their own character and decoration and the design is beautiful. The kitchen is large and well stocked with equipment that made it easy to cook large meals. The garden is lovely and the pool has a clever cleaning system which we appreciated as we all had a swim. Lastly, the location is ideal being a short walk into town in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. we had a perfect week. The house was impeccable when we arrived and the host welcomed us very well. the house is faithful to the description, it is a real little corner of paradise with great views. It has everything you need to feel at home during a family stay.

We had a great two weeks at Marie’s house. The views are amazing and the location is great as you can walk to Cassis centre. Marie was very responsive and we would definitely stay again.

Emmanuelle's place is fantastic. We especially loved the garden and the pool, the outdoor kitchen and the terrace. The host is communicative and available to answer any question. We had a great time and totally recommend this Vila in Marseille.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the beautiful place. The home was amazing, peaceful and quiet, comfortable, and it had everything we needed. We used it as a home base to take day trips to explore the area. A very nice walk up to Les Baux gave spectacular views. We definitely recommend this magical place. It is centrally located and you can easily reach all Provence has to offer. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks!

location is excellent, many outdoor activities like swimming, petanque, hiking (during which we met many friendky locals and their dogs), close to nature, we encountered so much wildlife , there is a chevrier and the famous Rove goats and the AOC cheese in the neighborhood. If you love nature and isolation from the noise of the city, this is the place for you. Yet it is an easy drive to the cultural and gastronomic fearures of Provence.

A beautiful charming house in the heart of provence between Arles and Avignon. Completely private, wonderful swimming pool lots of space in the house for guest to spread out could comfortably take 8 or 10.

We stayed as three couples with small children. Celine's villa is spacious, comfortable, well-equipped (spacious and well-stocked kitchen, outdoor food area, bocce court, outdoor pool, ping pong), extremely relaxing and quiet, and very well-kept. Excellent experience, Celine and Denis were very kind and lavished advice/suggestions. The village of La Fare is not in itself amazing, but strategic for touring between Marseille, Aix and Luberon.

Our stay at this enchanting family villa in the South of France was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the breathtaking landscape — endless rows of lush vineyards stretching as far as the eye could see, framed by the gentle hills of Provence.The villa itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Stone walls, wooden beams reminded us we were in the heart of authentic French countryside, while the interiors offered all the amenities a family could need — a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and cozy, beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged.Mornings began with family breakfasts around the large tables and ended with unforgettable sunsets and glasses of local wine under the stars. The private pool was a huge hit with the kids, and the outdoor dining area quickly became our favorite spot for long, leisurely meals. It was quiet, serene, and incredibly peaceful — TBC

We loved our time at Sandie & Benoit’s beautiful home, and they were extremely accommodating and informative hosts. They gave us several recommendations for things to do, which was very helpful for our first visit to Provence. Our children also enjoyed playing in the pool and backyard. It was a wonderful vacation and we can’t wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay in a house that has a soul, a personality. The owners were nice and friendly. The house was clean and the exteriors were very nice. We can see that the family likes to make pastries with regard to utensils😀.
