Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Marshall County

Our stay in Culver, Indiana for our niece’s wedding was amazing! Christine was not only the perfect host, but her home was exactly what we had hoped for and needed. We have two small kiddos who loved her Little Free Library and thought hanging out on the back porch with Nana and Grandpa was the best part of our “holiday house”. We’ve never really done a family stay at an AirBnB, so this was a first, but definitely not a last if I find another location like Christine’s!

5 stars all around! I will hope to stay at House of Dreams whenever I visit Culver. It was an easy 10-minute drive, a perfect stay and an unbeatable bargain! Janet

Perfect location! Unobstructed views of Lake Max from the 2 main bedrooms on the first floor and living space. Very close to town and not too far from the academy. I would rent this house again for the location and the views!

The house was in a great, safe, and quiet location near one of the main streets in town and very spacious. We appreciated having four bedrooms but the mattresses were uncomfortable for us, either too soft or too hard. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and the powder room on the main level is tiny. We weren't able to avail ourselves of making meals at the house, but the kitchen and picnic-bench dining table were very large.

This is a wonderful house to stay in. Very big and spacious. Great for our family graduation weekend. The house is clean and has everything you need. Melany was a great host!

The history of this house is 2nd to none! Couldn’t beat that back patio right next to the water. Pontoon rental is a must on this lake. When we had any questions Janet responded very quickly! Great host!

The place was absolutely lovely. Owners were upfront about expectations and were very fast in responding. It had everything we needed and more. Great kitchen for cooking, very clean, furniture was very comfortable and felt very homey. A great backyard and location. The only trouble we had while staying was with the lock on the main door but that could have just been an us problem. But it is a great house and 10/10 experience.

Maybe the best Airbnb attached to someone’s home that I’ve ever stayed in. Such a sweet set up. Very comfortable, clean, private. Thankful for the keurig for coffee and water bottles in the frig. My stay was short but very restful and waking up to have my morning coffee out on the deck and watch the river and the birds was the highlight of my stay. Mark was very good with communicating and gave clear instructions. The Airbnb was easy to find, even in the dark. Of course being attached to their home there was a bit of noise from the kids in the morning but that wasn’t until after 9am and didn’t bother me at all. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. My husband, our 15 month old, and I are moving to Ethiopia in a couple of months and we needed to spend one last time with our family. Fern’s listing was so close to where our family lived and we were able to have our own space and also spend time with family. We got to meet and visit with our host one morning and they were so friendly and welcoming!! We will definitely choose these wonderful accommodations again if we ever come back.

Excellent stay! Beautiful, clean, spacious and well stocked with extra towels, blankets and kitchen necessities. Would definitely recommend and return!

Stayed for 5 nights while attending a conference at ND – excellent location and easily walkable to the university. Quiet neighborhood, and a short walk for groceries, etc. The kitchen space is a highlight – well stocked with pots, pans, etc. for cooking at home and a nice stove/oven. Comfortable dining table area doubled as an office – plenty of space for two laptop setups and excellent wifi service. Living room area was perfect for reading as well – and lots of light in the front room. Great shower, water pressure, etc. – and the fan in the bedroom kept it cool for sleeping, even on a couple warmer nights. The outdoor space is a real perk – fire pit was very simple to use and a pleasant atmosphere with the outdoor lighting. A short ride from the Amtrak station, and convenient to both the university area and other points of interest in the city. Great communication from host, simple keypad access, and no difficulties at all during my time. Would absolutely stay here again!!

I have stayed with Becky many times and love the house. it's super cozy, clean and the yard is absolutely beautiful. If your looking for a peaceful play to stay this is it!!!

The cabin was so incredibly beautiful. There was lots to do and everything was accesible. There were even awesome amenities I didn't expect. They really pay attention to every detail!

The location was great and close to things we wanted to do while in the area. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The porch and views were beautiful and relaxing. We even saw a couple of wild turkeys while heading out to dinner. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We would definitely go back if in the area again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and cozy, exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was relaxing and the bed was super comfy. We had a hard time getting the gas fireplace working, but Jeremiah and Tracey responded quickly and we got it going easily with further instruction.

Place was great! Beautiful view of the river, lots of turtles on the banks and on tree limbs. Cabin was clean and had a full set of spices! Will be coming back! Only thing I would change would be the option to lower the thermostat, it was locked at 72 and I got a little hot. But if you someone who is always cold then it’s the right place for you!

Sarah was very friendly and showed amazing hospitality. Her place offered a very relaxing get away with a beautiful view.

Cabin in Knox, IN was a perfect getaway for my father & son. We had a great time connecting grandpa & grandson. Plenty to do with wildlife near by, fishing, campfire, and of course time to relax. We had our pet Duke with us, and it is perfect for a dog to also relax and get some fresh country air. Highly recommended for a private getaway.
