really good value, typical kiwi bach from the 1970s. had everything you needed including a very well kitted out kitchen with a full size fridge freezer. the pictures accurately described the place. we loved the Woodburner. our dogs loved playing outside. great for big family trips as loads of space. thanks Jacqui 😀

The view was absolutely stunning and made the experience even more special. We all had a great time and truly enjoyed every moment. Lovely place in Taupō, and dog friendly! It was super spacious, with a kitchen/lounge and separate bedroom and bathroom, and the heatpump made it super cozy on a very cold night. Clear instructions on how to get in, Deborah was friendly and easy to contact when we needed. We will definitely be back, thank you!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ici. Avant d'arrivée, Caroline prend le temps de savoir ce qui pourrait nous convenir et nous donne des conseils. La communication est simple et rapide avec elle. Ce qui est fort appréciable. A notre arrivée, la maison est encore plus belle que sur les photos. Tout y est pour passer un séjour agréable. Et l'emplacement n'est pas trop éloigné du centre également. Je le recommande à 100% et j'y retournerai sans hésiter.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clint was a great and helpful host. We used this place as a base to do the Tongariro Crossing hike. A quick 20 minute drive to the car shuttle parking lot for the hike. Clint also suggested some nice beaches nearby. It was great to have the whole house to ourselves.

Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

Atiamurphy is one of the best AirBNB places we have stayed at. Service provided, Host Communication and the Location, is perfect, for me at least. kids will have a blast, parents will get their peace, and travellers will scratch that itch whilst here! Spacious but intimate at the same time. The pool & spa was a luxury. Te Whio Retreat will be among our favorite top 5 Air bnb places in the north island. The retreat offers a private home away from home close enough to everything in turangi. Beautifully presented warm home. Large master bedroom with enough space for our baby to run around in his walker while we got ready in the ensuit. x3 showers with great pressure and heat, all able to be used at the same time. The backyard was enough room for our adult husky, fencing was high and kept her well enclosed and private from view of strangers if they were to approach the property. This home is situated in the rear end of a shared driveway, allowing for maximum privacy from public view. the two neighbouring properties on both sides of Te whio are also Airbnb/holiday homes and we're empty during our time at Te whio, we didn't have to worry about our kids causing "too much noise" whilst they made the most of the pool & us the spa.

Despite an initial hiccup, we had a fantastic time at Tracy and Damien’s home. Tracy was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and will hopefully return to stay here again!

When we opened the front door, we were amazed by the how close we were to the lake. We were thankful to have a grey, cold day…to light the fire, make a cuppa and watch the world go by outside. We woke to the sound of wind and when we looked out the bedroom windows, the ducks were riding the white caps on the lake. Do yourself a favour and book more than one night…it’s the perfect place to unwind

Everything was exactly as expected. The beds were super comfy and I still can’t believe how quiet it was!

Was everything our team needed, close to town (walkable), clean and clutter free. We will check to see if your BnB is available when we return to Taupo to work. Great shower and comfortable beds.

Mike and Amy were outstandingly friendly and helpful. Our late arrival wasn’t an issue and they were there to welcome us with the key to save our search in the dark. Amazing lakeside spot.

Monique's place was warm, spacious and cosy. It was close to town but far enough away to feel like we were out in the countryside. Henry, her dog, is delightful - super friendly and made us feel instantly at home.

Great stay and awesome accomodation. Exactly as described and bigger. Luxury bedding and linen plus plenty of space for the kids. Not too far from town, convenient location. We appreciated the fireplace and games/toys. Would absolutely stay again.

Loved the homeliness of this place, was comfortable and cosy. Particularly loved the environment, quiet and peaceful and close to the lake and river walks.

We had the most amazing stay at Eileen's property. She was very accommodating with our check in and check out time. Appreciated her heating the space up before we arrived in the dark. Perfect spot for a getaway. The outdoor bath was a great feature for a late night soak under the stars after walking up Mt Tauhara. Highly recommended.

I had a lovely stay at Chrystal’s - warm, cosy and quiet. Chrystal was exceptional with communication! Appreciate the thoughtfulness of having the heater and light on for my late check in, as well as a little sweet treat. Wilo the cat deserves a special mention - he was a very welcoming host and made sure I felt right at home. As for the space, exactly as described. While small it definitely didn’t feel cramped at all, it was great! Might be an odd thing to say, but the bedding made it feel really homely - not the typical clinical white sheets, but cosy colourful duvet and plenty of pillows. So happy that there was an electric blanket, plus there was an extra blanket if I needed it. Didn’t use the shower but bathroom was immaculate, plenty of towels if needed. Will definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Taupō!
