Thank you so much for letting us stay! Iveta met us when we arrived, welcomed us warmly, and ensured that we were settled at the accommodation. The airbnb was just what we needed for our short stay, was quietly tucked away, but close to everything we wanted. Thanks again!

Exactly what was described, plenty of birdsong and a front row seat to watch fantail and other natives.

We stayed in Chalet 3 at Cherie and Rodney’s place and are so happy with our choice. It was very peaceful and private sitting on our own deck overlooking the orchards and towards the sea. The chalet was very homely, spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The friendly sheep visited us often in the paddock straight off the deck. Cherie and Rodney’s place also had laundry facilities and a barbecue to share with the other two chalets. Parking was ample and easy to use. Our hosts were quick to respond to texts and very friendly when we needed help. This property is in a great location with easy access to Abel Tasman NP and the lovely towns on the coast. We particularly enjoyed the short walk to the Riwaka Resurgence. We hadn’t heard of this gem before but it was highly recommended by Cherie and Rodney. Don’t miss it! We highly recommend staying at Cherie and Rodney’s. If it’s available, grab it!

Lovely place to stay with a friendly host. Not too far from Nelson and surrounding attractions but feels amazingly private and peaceful - and we loved being able to say hello to the cows! Pool was a great facility for hot summer afternoons and the cottage had everything we needed and nice spacious rooms.

Absolutely loved our stay at the cowshed. Lots of laughs and lost count of how many cows we saw! Really appreciated the breakfast provided and had everything we needed as well. Thanks for having us Angela.

It was a wonderful stay at Robert's. The cabin was immaculately clean. Robert was on site to meet us and was extremely friendly and welcoming. The property itself was spacious enough for us, without being too big. Everything was well stocked too, some milk in the fridge a nice touch. Had two gorgeous dogs that lived there and wander the grounds, so soft and were excellent with our two boys. We extended our stay as we were very happy with location and property. Would happily stay again.

The Bach was quite large and roomy, front bed comfy, with a large well stocked kitchen! Nice shower!Everything was spotless. Pete was a good host and easy to talk to. It’s a 15 minute walk to the beautiful waterfront , with several trails to hike nearby. Although one can park in the driveway , we preferred using the grass in front since the space between the stairs and hedge is narrow. Very safe quiet neighborhood.

This amazing cabin is the perfect, cozy spot to get away from it all and recharge! You are fully immersed in nature and it’s such a peaceful, grounding place with an incredible view. I loved the outdoor bathtub and shower so much. Best bath of my life!! Rachel is such a gem and was so open and friendly right from the start. She knew I was alone on my birthday and invited me up to have a cup of cacao with her to celebrate. It was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture and I’ll never forget this amazing cabin or host. One of my favourite Airbnb stays ever!!

Nicola and Andrew kindly accepted our very last minute request. Their cottage is delightful in every way. Cosy, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything we needed including a coffee grinder. (A first on our travels) It was the perfect place to base ourselves as we explored the region. The breakfast goodies in the fridge plus fresh produce and eggs were gratefully received by us and reflect the fine hospitality on offer here.

Absolutely beautiful stay, Anna was so helpful. I had a big week and had a ferry crossing very early the next morning. She made it so easy. This place is a must!!!

Sally and Bruce's place was absolutely wonderful! A great place to call home during our road trip (especially after a very long day of hiking in Abel Tasman). Not to mention, the bed was very comfortable! We had the best time.

Absolutely perfect property and location. Extremely well presented and very peaceful. Megan is an excellent host, very helpful and kind. Megan let us borrow her kayaks & helped us with them. She also brought baked treats for us to try. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We would highly recommend Jody’s place. It was well set up for children, comfy beds, clean and tidy and nice big kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay thank you.

What an amazing location! The views were spectacular every night we stayed, and the place itself was insulated and warm. Sara the host was responsive with messages and very helpful. We’ll be coming back here for sure! We must’ve found the best BnB in Nelson.

We had the pleasure of staying at Pear Tree on Bronte for 5 nights. It became our home away from home after a very busy couple of weeks exploring the South Island. We did lots of day trips from the cottage, and it was so lovely to have a beautiful place to come home to each afternoon. It has a very comfy bed, and an amazing shower (with great hair products! ) Very generous provisions provided by Lynn. And the deck… Comfortable furnishings, roll down blinds, and an ever-changing view of the beautiful estuary. Plentiful birdlife, a beautiful garden, and amazing star gazing made this place so special. Thanks Lynn!

Loved our stay here! We came up for the half marathon and it had everything we needed. We were very cosy and comfortable in this space!

This is the second time my Husband and I have stayed here, and it is literally perfect. As long as it's available it will always be our first choice. The home itself is stunning, cosy, all new and so pristine. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home, leaving coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc, bread, spreads, cereal, milk, yogurts and fruit, as well as a couple of drinks to celebrate a trip away. They also leave feed for the beautiful deer, sheep and alpaca who are so friendly and will eat from your hand! The view from this place is breathtaking, and only a 10 minute drive to the beach and town. Perfect!

The photos do not do justice to the beauty of this property. It is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Donna and Mike went above and beyond expectations with their hospitality. The guest house was immaculate, well appointed and very comfortable. The views were exceptional. The breakfast treats were unexpected and delightful. The property was close to all our planned activities. We wished we had been able to spend more time in this peaceful and tranquil getaway.
