Magical and beautiful Bedrock Cottage! Clean, spacious, comfortable bed and pillows, WiFi and I loved visiting the koi fish pond that’s on this beautiful property. There’s a rooftop too! Watching hang gliders up in the sky was really cool! Rick is so welcoming and friendly, couldn’t ask for a nicer host! Absolutely loved our 3 nights stay!

I loved this property on the top of Lookout Mtn, GA. The property has just been taken over by new owners in the last 6 months. About 10 cottages all newly renovated. They are clean, fresh and well appointed, including robes and nice thick towels. You park you car right next to the cottage, very convenient. The host Jamie and the staff all super friendly. Breakfast is included with the stay. Served at the Inn every morning at 830. The inn, is quaint with flowers on the table. Coffee, teas, juice. Real china , silverware and cloth napkins. Fruit, bacon, eggs, pastries, grits are self serve. First morning they brought bread pudding to the table the next morning avacado toast. You can take long walks through the local neigborhoods. Ruby Falls, Rock City and the Incline Railway and numerous hiking trails, all super close and Chattanoga is 20 minutes away. Very nice place. Great for groups. Small pool to splash in and hot tub. Highly recommended for a relaxed stay.

Very sweet little cabin - prefect for a weekend get away

The house was amazing. There are 3 floors (one above and one below the ground floor), and each one has a living room with seating and a TV! 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the top floor, master en suite plus a half-bath on the ground floor, and another bedroom and bathroom on the lower floor. My husband and I were the only ones staying in this huge house; it would be perfect for a large group, offering places for gathering and also for privacy. We walked down a path to the marina and had a nice dinner at the Bluegill Grille. Be aware that the path between the neighborhood and the marina is somewhat lengthy, has quite a grade to it, and will be challenging for some. We got attacked by a plague of mosquitos on our walk back to the house, so bring bug repellent!! We recommend booking a tour of the Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg, going to the Beechcraft Heritage Museum, & having a tasting at Beans Creek Winery in Manchester. Each destination is a reasonable drive from the house!

We absolutely loved staying at Lookout Mountain Inn! The cottage was perfect for what we needed, adorable, relaxing, & with an excellent location close to everything we wanted to do while in Chattanooga. Loved having breakfast at the main house each morning as well. We will be back next time we are in the area! Excellent stay!

Our family really enjoyed our time here. It was our first cabin experience and the kids loved it! The staff were incredibly kind and the home cooked breakfast, prepared by Jamie, was phenomenal. We enjoyed the quietness and listening to the wind cut through the trees while lounging outside. We are a family of 7 (4 young kids and 1 infant) and the sleeping space was adequate. Everyone raved about how comfortable the beds are. The location was just minutes away from Ruby Falls which was our destination and why we rested in this area. So glad we came across Timberroot and will look out for their other properties for future rustic travel plans.

This is a great place! We were looking to stay on Lookout Mtn and this was just what we were looking for! They have renovated these cabins (and are still in the process of doing more) to make this a quaint, private retreat that has some really special touches. From the decorating, to cleanliness to the thoughtful unique breakfasts that were included, this is really a special place! We will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for something beautiful and private this is it. Travel for a living and sometimes you want the feeling of home away from home and this is it.

Love this place! The hosts are precious and the house uses the room they have in the most efficient way! Probably will stay here again!

Peter’s place was perfect for our group! Beautiful, serene setting. Reported one minor issue and Peter immediately had it taken care of, same day. Loved our hike at Cloud Canyon State Park and our day in Chattanooga. Definitely recommend - thank you Peter!

We had the best time at the Old Town Cottage. It was the perfect, cozy space for our anniversary trip in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. The cottage itself was exceptionally clean with a full kitchen (we were NOT in the mood for cooking ourselves, but it's got anything you could ask for if you're up for homecooking). There are several great, local restaurants and shops in easy walking distance, and Chatanooga is just a quick drive down the mountain for anything you could want. The best part was the beautiful hiking trails just down the road! Several trail heads are about a half mile away. Highly recommend the easy trail down to Rainbow Lake Dam, and the trail down to Rainbow Falls is well worth it if you're feeling a bit more adventurous.

Beautiful cottage, with a cozy, homey feeling! Beautiful location! Very welcoming! Could not ask for a better place to stay for the weekend. Pam was very accommodating, and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved it and we all enjoyed the different board games.

The Hemlock is our favorite place for a peaceful weekend away. The home is just perfect - every single detail. I spend most of my days on the porch overlooking the stream. The views (walkable from the house) are so beautiful. A waterfall, an overlook to the valley and surrounding mountains, and a great little lake. It’s perfect. This was our 2nd time staying, and we’ve already booked next year’s visit. We can’t express how happy we are to have this wonderful place just a couple of hours from the city where we live. Also, we cook most of the time we’re there (they have everything you need), but there’s also really good food nearby. Highly recommend Hernandez! Thank you for hosting and creating this dream place!

Great location for Bonnaroo. Festival unfortunately got cancelled after day 1 and Kamilla was kind and understanding enough to let us cancel the remainder of our stay. Kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked with shampoo, body wash, utensils, spices, pans, etc.

The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! It was close enough to our destinations and offered plenty of privacy and quiet.

The setting is so picturesque, serene and peaceful; and the added personal touch of Ruthie’s welcoming chocolate chip cookies was very special! The residence is located within a short drive to the many scenic waterfall hiking trails that my wife and I enjoy!

Cynthia was great, we arrived late and she had the place ready with lighting on inside and out. It was easy to get in, and the place was clean. It’s located in a calm and quiet area. Cynthia even left us a few pastries 😊

Teresa and Dan were amazing!! They left special touches everywhere to make sure my family felt at home! Without a doubt the cleanest AirBnB we have ever stayed in! We have spent a ton of time on the mountain and this was by far our favorite place! We would use Teresa and Dan again in a heartbeat!!

The cabin is amazing, like a little nest tucked up in the hills by the Tennessee river. Perfect homebase for exploration to rock city and downtown Chattanooga… The views are unlike I’ve ever seen. The cabin is well appointed with beautifulwood flooring, the two bedrooms are appointed with big mirrors and comfy beds. Very very nice. We made memories there to last a lifetime. The rocks and the landscape are amazing. Highly recommend.

Close to everything, even a playground! The house was perfect and exactly as described and the outside space had everything. It was gorgeous with Mountain View’s and our host was SO thoughtful. I will 100% stay here and only here again. It was perfect me and my young children. Very clean and the neighborhood was quiet and safe!

I love staying at the cabin. I would love to go back next year.
