Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Marina at Saint James Plantation

This was our second time staying at the Blue Pearl; it's a great place for young families and fur babies. Everything was exactly as the description stated, and the host was responsive and friendly. While this location is a long walk from the beach, it's a nice, private getaway if you're looking for a quiet street nearby the ocean. Highly recommend.

I have stayed at several Airbnbs, and Peter's place is the only one I will seek to stay again when visiting Oak Island. Everything was great; the house is exactly as described. It was easy to check in, and added features such as beach chairs, a wagon, and towels were a plus. It is very pet-friendly; he even had blankets to cover the furniture for our dog. I have nothing negative to say about this stay.

There’s nothing to change about Lo-ki on Oki. Denise and Chad thought of everything to make their beach home feel like you’re at home. Clean. Comfortable. A perfect beach home. The golf cart was great to have but the house is a very walkable distance straight down 40th to the access, 0.85 miles to be exact. We stayed for 2 weeks and were torn between being complete beach bums or exploring. (Wilmington and Southport are worth taking a day away from the beach to check out.) Super friendly area, everyone waves hello, a few favorite spots to eat out were Shagger Jacks and Koko Cabanas. The enclosed front porch is a great spot for your morning coffee and/or evening cocktail hour. Fenced in backyard was great to let the hounds run their laps. Made a few dinners at home and had every utensil/pots/pan etc that we needed. The outdoor shower was PERFECT for after my morning running and our days at the beach. I think we used that shower way more than the indoor ones. 5 + ⭐️ and many 👍🏼!

Our family has gone to Oak Island every year around Memorial Day for the last 6 years and we've always been looking for a spot that we can return to every year. Nothing has been quite right. Until we stayed here. This spot has everything we love. Right on the beach with easy access. Great layout with big beautiful windows. Something fun for the boys to play (air hockey). Really comfy beds. Very clean. Walking distance to all our favorite restaurants. It was great. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was just what we needed. Relaxing and comfortable. We loved the front porch and our host was wonderful! We look forward to book another trip sometime soon.

We really enjoyed our stay and had very positive interactions with both Jane and Scott. The place was clean and cute and exactly as it was listed. The floorplan was perfect for our family of 5. It was easy to get to and we felt right at home. Despite the house being on a pretty main road we didn’t feel that the traffic noise was unbearable. Would definitely stay again in the future!

This place was amazing and so beautiful! It was a quick drive to the beach and the backyard fire pit was perfect for s’mores! The house is the perfect size for a group of ten. Went with a group of friends and we had a fun time and definitely would come back!

Exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway. Conveniently located for anything on Oak Island and surrounding areas. The place was clean and cute and we felt right at home.

We loved being so close to the beach, the pool, and the pier. Pier bar drinks and service were great! We recommend the Bahama Mama and The Painkiller. The condo was very clean and inviting. The deck was perfect for our morning croissants and fresh fruit with coffee. We enjoyed watching the waves and listening to seabirds as they soared above the sea. Just a short drive to the Boardwalk gave us some great shopping and restaurants. We recommend Britt’s donuts. Don’t buy just one -cash only! Matthew was the perfect host! He answered my questions quickly and checked in to see if we needed anything. Perfect week for us to rest and relax!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at A Wave From it All, and it did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights, and were able to enjoy the beach and the activities with no problem. The only downside was that the pool was unfortunately closed for our time here, and we had originally chose this place based on the fact that there was also a pool, however that isn’t something Jenna could control of course as they were doing construction on it; we did not know until we arrived. However, the restaurants and the boardwalk are all very close, as well as the beach access being right across from our house. We walked the pond most nights as well which was nice. Overall, we had a great experience here and will be staying again next year.

We had a wonderful stay with our two families! It felt larger than expected and there was plenty of room for our two families and more. The kids all enjoyed the game room and the small pool in the backyard. The neighborhood was quiet and an easy walk to the beach. We are all hoping to stay here again!

Wad blown away by the space, the views, the people and Sunset beach was lovely. Close to restaurants, supermarket and the beach. The apartment was spacious,clean and the closed in patio was lovely in the afternoons and evening. No bugs!! Bonus. Will definitely recommend to anyone who asks.

it was the perfect setting for our family vacation with our adult children and their significant others. In fact, it was the perfect back drop on the dock for my son to propose to his girlfriend! wonderful memories here! peaceful and beautiful setting and short drive to the beach.

Another great stay at Boho Studio. This was our third time here and it’s still just as nice as the first time. Michelle is a great host and offers a beautiful place to stay.

WONDERFUL!!! Condo was super clean, beautiful area. Loved the beach theme and all the decorations. Boardwalk is right outside the front door. Easy walking to bars, restaurants, rides, etc. Condo just as described. Super comfortable bed, well stocked towels and linens. (we even had beach towels left for us to use). Pet friendly unit. Stephanie and Josh were super responsive to any questions i had. Pool was nice and refreshing. Loved that the unit was gated and parking was great. Only time we had to get in the car was for ice and beverages. The guests even provided 2 beach chairs and an umbrella that was put out daily until 7pm. THAT WAS GREAT!! No lugging chairs and umbrella in and out of the beach. Shower was great. Hot water with wonderful shower head. All start up supplies we needed were provided. Already looking to book again in the future. Great place for couples with small children, pets or just a couples getaway. You won't be disappointed in this place!!!!

Loved this little getaway. Off the main beach and very little traffic. The place screams “relax”. Loved the outside shower for getting rid of the sand. Most beautiful wind chimes. Short trip to beach and to some excellent restaurants.

The house was steps from the beach.Loved the updated bathroomsThe screened in porch was wonderful you could hear the ocean at night. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. Loved that there wasn't any steps as we are getting up in age. We hope to come back.

Great place, beach house energy!! Walkable to the beach, nice dock at the end of the road. Close to great restaurants and still convenient to Holden & Southport (25-30 min drive) we went to both for dinner. Also has great amenities with the beach equipment they have for guest, helped us as we didn’t come fully prepared as we normally do! Johnny (their Pup) was a sweet touch to say hey to when he was out with his people, the hostess, whom are both very friendly!!!! :) I’d recommend this house to anyone to stay at!

Will’s place was fantastic! Beds were super comfortable, had everything we needed, dogs enjoyed the fended in back yard, the game room was so fun!! It was a quick scenic walk to the beach, close to many shops and restaurants. We lacked nothing at Will’s place. Highly recommend and will be back in the future.

Loved the little guest suite that was 300 meters from the beach! Perfect for our little family and super happy that we could bring our small dog. Walkable restaurants,coffee shops and the local food lion is a mile away-such a great location!

This was the second time we stayed at Amanda's place, was another fantastic stay. Clean home in perfect Oak Island location. Can't wait to stay again!

Joe's place was everything we needed. Being so close to the beach made it easy to walk there multiple times a day. His house was clean and had everything we needed. We brought our two dogs and the fenced in back yard made it easy to let them out and have a place to go. I really appreciated the water hose, which we used everyday to wash off our dogs after the beach, as well as the outdoor shower for us. I would definitely recommend Joes place for anyone looking for a cute place to stay within walking distance to the beach.

Great place to stay would stay again! If you are looking for something cozy and easy accessible this is the place for you!😊
