Charming Kuskbostaden in Hajstorp at Göta Canal

Hajstorp is an idyll at Göta Kanal, about 5 km north of Töreboda. In Hajstorp there is a cafe and hostel and many life lovers are looking for a place to come during the summer months. At the southwestern end of Hajstorp lies Kanalingenjörsvillan, which was the official residence of the channel engineers between 1902 and 1977. Today, the Lahrin family lives in the villa. In a secluded part of the big garden is the little charming bush home. It is from the middle of the 19th century but has been carefully equipped with toilet and small kitchen/kitchenette.

With proximity to Vänern there is possibility to enjoy the surroundings with the whole family in this cottage with associated guest cottage for tot 8 people! Bicycle path connects this idyll with nice beaches only 5 minutes away, bikes are of course available to borrow for the whole family! Sjötorp / Göta Kanal you can reach by bike in just over 20 minutes (car 8 min). Skara Sommarland, Tiveden National Park, golf course, etc. are located in the nearby area! The cottage is also a perfect stop at road 26, on the way to the Swedish mountains!

In our own house you will find our apartment which is about 35 square meters on the ground floor. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and cooking possibilities. Toilet with shower. Bedroom with 3 places in bunk bed. (Lower bed 120 x 200) Upper bed (90x200) Living room with sofa bed for two. (140x190) Travel bed. The apartment has wifi and TV included. WiFi and high-speed wired internet are available for a fee. Next to the apartment there is a laundry room with drying room. Parking next to the accommodation.

In this newly renovated house you live in the middle of nature, with only deer and fenced cows as neighbors. The surroundings are beautiful with a view of forest and oak grove, about a hundred meters away you have your "own" beach to swim from. You live in an old grain magazine that has just been converted into a comfortable small home for four people. Another person can fit if two share a 120 cm bed or if you make a bed on the sofa. Horses and cows are nearby, thus there are also flies. Sometimes it sounds like tractors and sometimes smells like manure during spring and autumn use😃.
