We had a wonderful 4-day stay in Angoulême. The accommodation was impeccable, impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. A real pleasure to settle in and enjoy the comfort offered. Tiffany, the owner, was very kind and very accommodating for the arrival and departure schedule, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We sincerely thank her and would highly recommend her place!

The location of the chalet next to the forest overlooking the pond was magical. We were able to walk around and chat with fishermen, our whippet was very happy. In the chalet, all the comforts were there. We spent a night in the open air!!!

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

Cozy accommodation in the heart of Périgord Noir in a peaceful environment. Beautiful area and magnificent terrace. Lydia and Julien are very friendly and despite a long holiday weekend, they insisted on coming to see if everything was okay for us. Welcome with a bottle of wine. Linen and sheets that smell wonderfully good. On the other hand, the WiFi is a little slow for teleworking. I recommend it.

Great house, great location absolutely loved it, will be returning again

We spent three days and two nights in Anne-Marie and Paul's beautiful studio, and we intend to return as soon as possible. A real little cocoon, very well equipped and ideally located in a quiet and idyllic environment. And what a view from the deck! We enjoyed beautiful walks around the village, and our dog Marcus was in heaven. What can I say about the warm welcome and kindness of Anne-Marie and Paul? We simply felt like family. Anne-Marie even took the time to go for a walk with us, accompanied by her adorable dog Jojo, to show us the surroundings. Special mention for the little touches that make all the difference: fresh eggs from the house hens, cold beers and delicious cherries were waiting for us on arrival. In short, go with your eyes closed: it's really not an Airbnb like any other.

We loved this charming little house with a small stream, very well received by warm and friendly hosts - really what more can I say, we loved it, we will go back for sure and I highly recommend this rental, unfortunately we did not have enough time to visit the surroundings. Lovely place to spend a couple of nights on our trip round the region. Quiet, relaxing surroundings and the gîte had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Impeccable and very nice accommodation, perfect for a stay in the countryside

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. This is a lovely place with great surroundings and very helpful hosts.

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

Very nice and warm house. We spent the Christmas holidays there with the family (8 people of several generations). Communication was easy, kind, and easy. The kitchen is very well equipped and we were able to cook for the holidays without any problem. Only downside, the bedroom on the second floor has no walls so not insulated from noise. The garden is well maintained and even in winter, we appreciated its serenity

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Very nice accommodation with very neat and refined decor, very well equipped, with lots of charm, very comfortable; we stayed there around mid-February and it was quite cool on the ground floor despite the heating, which was not the case on the upper floors; the stove is welcome and very nice but it is not necessarily enough to heat, or not immediately; we therefore highly recommend it but you have to plan to cover yourself in winter even if the accommodation offers plaids for those who are sensitive to the cold; we also enjoyed Bridget's little hello on our arrival, the bottle of wine and the cake! Not much to say about this very nice place, go there without a second thought.

Thank you for a very relaxing stay. We found the gîte to be exactly as described, with all the amenities needed. The area is very pretty and we enjoyed exploring for the few days we were here. Peaceful and pretty area.

This is a fabulous place to switch off and unwind, a charming and traditionally decorated converted farm building in rural France. Among its many positive features, the stand-out was the garden, or really gardens, as it is divided into numerous areas suitable for sunbathing in complete privacy, for playing on the lawn, a barbecue area, fruit trees and a herb garden. We spent most of our time outside when it was light. And although private it still has great views over the fields. The house is spacious and well furnished, with a traditional feel and convenient living. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms very quiet. Even on the hottest days the rooms remained cool and were comfortable for sleeping. The sitting room area has plenty of comfortable chairs and a big sofa. And places to eat... a large dining room area by the sitting room, a big kitchen table, and two outdoor tables as well. Note that the accommodation has no WiFi, but we managed with two bars of 4G signal.

A very comfortable stay in a beautiful location. We stayed in the Terrace Apartment which was tastefully decorated, very clean and welcoming. The supplied cold water and milk were so helpful as it meant we could make an emergency cup of tea to start our day before heading to the supermarket! All toiletries and tea and coffee supplied! Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend staying here. Stunning location and great space. An added bonus is that the baby monitor easily reaches from the hot tub!
