We have restored an ancient bread oven on our little farm to make a cosy retreat in a quiet corner of the Dordogne. The kitchen and bathroom combine modern fittings with ancient beams and stonework while the comfortable sitting room features a log burning stove and the original paddle for the old bread oven, found when we started the renovation work. It is an ideal base for an active holiday (many options nearby)but the nightlife consists of sharing the stars with the owls and a bottle of wine.

Parfaitement adapté pour les groupes et les familles, nous l'avons équipé comme s'il s'agissait de notre propre maison, pour que chacun s’y sente bien. Situé en bordure de village, avec un accès direct aux sentiers de campagne et des forêts environnantes, c’est un refuge idéal pour les amoureux de nature. This romantic well equipped yurt has all the modern conveniences and is set in a quiet corner of nature far from busy roads with a splendid view to the south of fields and forests. The yurt is lined with natural hemp and himalayan felt and is equipped with a wood stove for a winter get away. no smoking inside svp There is a fully equipped kitchen with oven gas burners and .fridge . The double bed has a memory foam mattress and a quilt and pillows are provided but not sheets or towels.
