Amazing time great for families

The Cidela house is beautiful. Super clean, well decorated and with the necessary utensils for a very comfortable stay. Great quality bed and bath linens. Great beds. Delicious pool and a view of the surrounding nature comforting. Marília and Gonçalo welcomed us warmly, gave us good local tips and explained how the house worked. And we even had a surprise “ treat” … I highly recommend it for a few days of tranquility in the countryside with comfort and good taste.

A great house in a beautiful location where you can unite with the mother nature. Américo and Rosalina are very nice hosts. They waited for our late arrival at 10pm to greet us and show the place, making the check-in process as smooth as possible. The house and the yard are very cozy, having a lot of lovely little details. The surrounding nature is gorgeous; the pictures do not show the real beauty. You can see the Milky Way in the night sky, and the morning fog covering the mountains is just stunning. We got the fresh bread in the morning at the gate, which was very delicious. Driving to Porto, Pinhão, and Guimaraes, is about one hour as part of the road goes via a serpentine road with amazing views. We were a company of four adults and two kids, and everything was great. The kids had fun swimming in the pool. I wish we could stay longer at Américo's place. We definitely highly recommend his house!

Beautiful self-contained cottage for the owner's property located in an idyllic small village. Hence beautiful to drive the Douro wine routes. The hostess was very helpful in doing our laundry. All the linens and bedding are of good quality and smells wonderfully fresh. Our laundry now also:)

Mario and Dona Hermina were both very sweet and helpful hosts. The property is a beautiful spot to go with friends and family to enjoy time away from the city. The pool is where you will spend the most of your time. We had a great time there and highly recommend it.

We loved José's house, close to other houses but with total privacy. It has everything you need to spend a few days and even more than expected, and the pool area is wonderful. We took home a wonderful memory.

The property is sat above the river in a deep valley , it has wonderful views in a very beautiful location and it was a pleasure to stay at whilst in Portugal. Roads can take you in many different directions , traffic is light , highways a joy to drive on compared to the busy highways in the UK. Host met us on arrival and covered the ‘ need to knows ‘ and once settled we rarely needed to contact. I covered the north and north east of Portugal as well as Porto and down to Lisbon . My trip was an absolute pleasure and sitting with a glass of wine looking over the valley at night was bliss.

For two people the accommodation is really sufficient. The amenities are mindful of functionality. Internet and wifi are very good. A beautiful view, shopping opportunities are 20 minutes away by car. From here are many beautiful cities in 1 to 🚗 Accessible by car 1.5 hours. I'd love to come back here 👍👍😊😊

The listing was as pictured and described It's absolutely stunning The setting is exceptional with this incredible view of the Douro. The house is very well maintained. Very well equipped. A lot of character with its large windows. A stunning garden and pool. Amazing calm too If you have to visit the most touristic places such as Porto you are on average 1 hour from everything. But it's clearly stated in the listing that we are far away so it was no problem for us. We were able to take advantage of every day to explore the surrounding area. Our host welcomed us at the indicated time. There is a lot of flexibility for check-in and check-out times. Thank you so much to our hosts who took time to welcome us and respond to our needs and questions. To summarize, we hope to be able to return to this beautiful area and this beautiful house one day. Cozy little house on a farm where there are 2 houses, one with a pool and the other with a jacuzzi, and which fully corresponds to the description that is given! A quiet place, in the middle of nature and with good local restaurants less than 15 minutes away by car if you want to rest from cooking for a weekend or week! We stayed in the house with a jacuzzi and it is a very pleasant corner of the property, with plenty of privacy and perfect for those who want to rest surrounded by greenery! PS: if you can't sleep with any light, I advise you to bring an eye patch because the rooms don't have blinds

A beautiful house, very spacious, with a beautiful view of the courtyard valley. 1 hour from Porto and 1 hour 20 minutes from the most beautiful vineyards!! Must rent.

It's been two weeks since we left this beautiful home in the Douro Valley and we are all still dreaming about it. It was the perfect environment for our family to come together and relax and soak in the beautiful scenery. The house itself is gorgeous with views of the river from every room. The house was complete with everything necessary and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals together. The hostess was exceptionally warm and friendly and answered our questions in a reasonable time. If you want to relax, unwind and recharge this is definitely the place. We are all looking forward to returning one day!

I had a lovely stay at this property. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience smooth from start to finish. Communication was easy and efficient, with quick responses and helpful guidance throughout. The house itself is in great condition—spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and made for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. Cleaning was well done, and everything felt fresh and tidy upon arrival. The only small downside was that some of the entertainment amenities could use a bit of maintenance, as a few weren't in the best shape. However, this didn’t significantly impact our stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to return!

António and his family are impeccable people We were a group of friends that we were making the northern route by motorcycle and we were entitled to everything!! Super friendly and allowed us to miss nothing! Sítio super quiet and with all the conditions! No doubt a place to go back!

We had a perfect week in Nogueira. The house is spacious, large, quiet. The vegetation is lush, flowers, trees, fruit trees. And what to say about the view and the pool ... I can only highly recommend this rental. Thanks to Benedita and José for their availability and advice. We'll be back I hope to come back!

We spent 15 days in the house and were delighted. The hosts are very helpful and kind and were great. The house is very comfortable and is very well equipped, it does not lack anything( well, a slightly more modern TV) the area is beautiful and there is a lot to visit. Above they admit dogs and the mias have enjoyed on the estate as locas. The photos do not honor the house. Thank you for everything Very , highly recommended.

Just the best place ever. Right next to a beautiful vineyard with wine you can taste, amazing pool and hot tub, and an incredibly well-stocked kitchen with everyone you need to make fantastic meals. Jose Antonio is always ready to help and give suggestions. Will definitely be coming back! The small details like the bathrobes and two different towels are really appreciated, as is the perfectly working air con and showers etc.

1st off, wow wow wow! what a beautiful villa. We Landed wel ahead check-in time & Jose rang on route and was very accommodating to allow to get in early. The Views when we got out the car were breath taking, the villa itself is beautiful too, so spacious, traditional Portuguese deco and you could tell this home is loved so much. We felt at home. So peaceful, we hired a car and the Intermache supermarket is worth a trip to stock up, only 13 mins drive. So many beautiful walks too. The local wine is a must too! We will absolutely return. Thank you Jose for allowing us to us your place.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at guest house along the Douro riverside! The location is unbeatable with stunning, panoramic views of the river that took our breath away every time when you look at it. The scenery is simply beautiful, whether you're relaxing next to the pool or just chilling around the property. The house itself had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel at home. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway! Five stars!
