What can we say.. We spent a glorious, relaxed week here at the end of August, a truly special place a beautifully renovated original stone house with high ceilings and original features. Paul was a generous, friendly and knowledgeable host, and the views are spectacular. Apartment 3 was a good size for our family of 5 (kids 17, 14, 11) comfy beds, en suites for each bedroom and a stunning balcony. The pool was an extra treat, beautiful, and again with panoramic views across the valley. Oh, and the WiFi was speedy too. Brace yourself for the drive, it gets easier and it’s 100% worth it! Would happily and heartily recommend ❤️

Peter est un hôte charmant; à l’écoute, se soucie de vous, adorable tout en étant discret. Il est de bon conseil. En ce qui concerne le logement, rien à redire, tout est impeccable, propre, et la vue est époustouflante. C’est idéalement situé. Coup de cœur pour ce logement au milieu des vignes du Douro. La vue le soir depuis la terrasse est incroyablement (lumières). Gîte décoré avec soin, Et très propre.

Logement très confortable avec petite terrasse pour les repas ! Heureusement la climatisation est là en cas de forte chaleur ce qui fut le cas pour nous ! ! Attention au 3eme étage pour les personnes âgées et parfois bruyant le soir due à la proximité de bars mais bonne isolation dans la chambre ! Nous comptons revenir …Merci pour l’accueil !

Last but not least Paul was such an amazing host!!Very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Gave us local recommendations which made our trip even better. 10/10 and absolutely recommend it :)

Great place located centrally to everything. Restaurants, cafes, bars, park and shopping all walking distance. Host was lovely and very attentive.

My young daughter and I stayed with Maria for two nights. The experience was absolutely incredible. The photos do not fully capture the stunning beauty of the gardens and the surrounding landscape. We felt like we were in a fairy tale. Maria was so kind to provide us with breakfast foods in the fridge with breads we could bake ourselves so they would be warm and fresh and all sorts of coffee, juice and tea. The space itself was beautifully decorated with antique furniture pieces and artwork. We still had the convenience of very fast internet which was great! The bathroom was super clean and modern, the bedroom was spacious and had everything we needed. I cannot wait to find the opportunity to come back and stay in one of the most magical places I have ever been!! Thank you Maria!!

Ce fut un excellent séjour, l'appartement est super, et Filipe toujours réactif. Une superbe vue sur Amarante et les alentours, une piscine accessible et propre. Très bon restaurant non loin tenu par Filipe. Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir l'année prochaine.

Le propriétaire Peter vous accueille lui-même, il fait l'effort de s'exprimer dans votre langue, le logement est irréprochable, tranquille et avec tout le confort mentionné, à recommander c'est sur.

Lugar increíble , recomendado para despejarse y pasar una estadía increíble !! El anfitrión atento siempre a todo lo que necesitas. El alojamiento es un Paraiso , el desayuno te lo dejan a la puerta del cuarto , de verdad que lugar increíble y de seguro que regresaremos !!!

Overall a good stay, expected the whole space to be part of the property but it’s actually split in half, even if common areas can be shared, I did not expect it to be like this. Regardless, still a pretty good calm place to be at

Muy buen piso de alquiler, tienen varios, la unica pega seria el parking, es algo complicado encontrar sitio para aparcar

Staff was wonderful, very helpful and responsive. We had a delightful wine tasting. They set up a taxi to take us to town and told us where to have dinner. The small village was extremely charming, we had a great dinner and our taxi driver was waiting to take us back after. The room and property were top notch. the only minor issue we had and it may be our fault, is we were further away from the Douro Valley than we thought. The directions were correct, but I missed my turn into the property, it isnt much of a road and it sneaks up on you. It would be challenging to find at night. But in the end, we were extremely pleased with our experience and very glad we stayed. We would wholeheartedly recommend it!!

host nos recebeu muito bem, com dicas de restaurantes e tudo ❤️ eu e meu esposo amamos a estadia! o quarto era exatamente como nas fotos, lindo!!! apesar da chuva, conseguimos também aproveitar bastante o salão de jogos e a piscina interna. já queremos voltar!

Espaço acolhedor e boa localização! O anfitrião explicou tudo perfeitamente e sempre que surgiu alguma duvida respondeu rapidamente! Aconselho muito este alojamento🥰
