House holiday rentals in Marciano

Maria's condo in Positano is exactly as described and pictured. Our group of 4 spent two nights and all said how much we would love to live there indefinitely. It's quite the hike down and back from the beach (but pretty much every Airbnb or hotel accommodation is). The only reason for 4 stars is that Maria was still cleaning the unit when we arrived at 3pm check in until 430-- for which she was incredibly apologetic. We were grateful the property is so well taken care of. Definitely don't forget to bring a swim cap down to the pool with you-- they won't let you get in the water without one! (Even if you have your hair up and don't plan to go under).

Monica’s place in Sorrento was a great location. Beautiful views from the piazza, great restaurants and shopping close by, beaches and marina were a short walk away. Monica’s partnership with the hotel was convenient for check-in. She handled our transportation reservation from the train station and to our next destination. If we were to come back to stay in Sorrento we would definitely have Monica’s place on the short list!

Extremely clean and beautiful apartment. Very responsive host. The view was spectacular and the patio was very large and spacious. It’s very good for younger people that like to do a lot of walking and hiking. It’s very difficult to get in town especially when you have only a couple of days to explore the city. I had my mom and aunt with me and I would have preferred a hotel by the center of town. We spent a lot of money for taxi . Other than that the place and the host are wonderful and match the description on the listing .

Wonderful! We had the entire place to ourselves, the views are amazing! Loved and would definitely stay there again.

A world class view, we enjoyed being out of the towns and next to a wonderful local restaurant. The Casa felt like a much loved home rather than a commercial rental. The drive up has been mentioned before. It is very steep and passing cars coming the other way was initially challenging but we gained in confidence quickly. Our Fiat Panda did the job but a small 4x4 would have been ideal.

If you are looking for a post card view of Positano and the coastline, this is the place to stay. The property was beautiful and the pool was an added bonus. Air conditioning worked fine for us. Domenico was kind enough to help meet us and assist with our luggage. He even reserved a taxi for our Capri tour and recommend the La Strada restaurant. The food, service and close proximity were all great. One note to keep in mind is the number of steps to get to the property. It can be a bit of challenge for some. Otherwise, we had a memorable stay.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in Paolas schönem Haus mit fantastischem Blick. Die Unterkunft bietet viel Platz für bis zu 8 Personen. Ein großes Plus sind auch die großen Schränke in jedem Schlafzimmer, die genügend Platz zum aufhängen bieten. Paola war schnell und unkompliziert erreichbar und antwortete auch immer sehr schnell auf Fragen. Auch Claudia und ihre Mutter, die sich um die Belange vor Ort kümmerten waren super nett und schnell zur Stelle. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir schon mit eine Erstausstattung fürs Essen begrüßt. Wir hatten eine super Zeit mit der ganzen Familie und unserem Hund Nelsson. Hier gibt es einen komplett eingezäunten Garten, sodass man sich überhaupt keine Sorgen um den Hund oder kleine Kinder machen muss. Hier konnten alle entspannt die Seele baumeln lassen. :) Wir können das Haus und die Gastgeberin wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt und die gute Organisation.

Licia is the best air b n b host we have ever had! She made our trip seamless and was helpful in coordinating reservations and cabs. She is as very sweet and all of her recommendations were spot on. The home was even more beautiful than the photos. As the listing and many reviews state, it is at the top of Positano. The walk down was reasonable with many steps but only about 15-20 min to town. My mother was able to make it back up the steps one time but she did not prefer it and it took us around 45 mi, but like I said Lucia helped us coordinate rides and gave us bus instructions. There is also a nice restaurant at the top of the hill across the street called da constantino if you have a night you do not want to go to town.

Tullio and his family are some of the kindest and genuine people you will find in this world. The house has an indescribable view of Capri and the farm is a sight to be seen, full of all the produce that is used right there at the family restaurant. Definitely take Tullio's offer and stop by for dinner, you'll be like one of the family sharing a meal in his Grandfather's house. I can not recommend Agriturismo La Lobra more and if I'm even in the Massa Lubrense area I hope to stay here again.

Great spot near Sorrento! Clean, spacious, loved the views. A few restaurants within walking distance and a coffee shop we enjoyed in the mornings. The only downside is you have to take a taxi to get to your car every time you want to use it. Also the beach gets super busy during the daytime in summer, which is fun if you want to join in! And evenings and mornings are so peaceful and relaxing. Great stay.

Ein Traum direkt am Strand! Die Unterkunft war einfach fantastisch! Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein – direkt am Meer, mit direktem Zugang zum Strand. Jeden Morgen mit Meeresrauschen aufzuwachen und den Tag mit dieser atemberaubenden Aussicht zu beginnen, war ein echtes Highlight. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet. Besonders toll: die Außendusche – nach einem Strandtag eine erfrischende Abkühlung unter freiem Himmel, mit Blick aufs Wasser. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Check-in verlief reibungslos. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und kann diesen Ort absolut weiterempfehlen – ich komme definitiv wieder!

Beautiful Airbnb and wonderful hosts, I would absolutely return and recommend this home to any and all interested in visiting Sorrento. Mariangela and her family were incredible hosts, so friendly and welcoming, and very attentive to our questions or needs. They helped recommend and reserve us dinner reservations at a local restaurant in Massa Lubrense and helped us arrange a taxi for a dinner/night out in Sorrento. Public transit is available - less than 5 minute walk from the home and the buses are terrific - a short 20 minute ride into Sorrento. It was an absolute gem. Beautiful location, with a fantastic view just a few steps away from the apartment. Felt like a peaceful escape, and we didn’t want to leave. Thanks to the dreams shape team who arranged a boat trip to capri for us, recommended restaurants and were very helpful, when we needed information about the apartment. Keep in mind, There is a cleaning fee that you need to pay, which wasn’t included in the price. But all in all fantastic !

Francesco is a 5 star host that made our stay a memorable experience. We chose this property as we wanted a base to explore the peninsula and have space to relax after a busy day. The property is nestled in a lemon orchard above the small town of Massa Lubrensa. From the multiple terraces you get an amazing view of the ocean and surrounding countryside. We travelled with 4 adults and 4 children and the apartment was modern and very comfortable. Francesco was able to provide us with restaurant recommendations and help us book a ferry to the towns of Positano and Amalfi. For our trip we rented two medium sized cars which we were able to park at the property. I would recommend not renting a large van for this part of Italy as the roads are very narrow and parking is scarce. We enjoyed going for dinner in the local port that has 3/4 nice traditional restaurant and the kids were able to play freely. If you are looking for a unique local experience I would highly recommend this property.

Die Unterkunft von Michelina in Termini ist ein echtes Juwel. Von hier aus erreicht man mit dem Auto Sorrent in weniger als einer halben Stunde, Positano in unter einer Stunde und Amalfi in etwas mehr als einer Stunde, abhängig vom Verkehr. Auch ein Ausflug nach Capri mit dem Boot von Sorrent ist sehr empfehlenswert! Wer interessiert ist erreicht mit dem Auto Pompei in unter einer Stunde (sehr empfehlenswert!) und auch Neapel ist nur ein paar Minuten weiter. Die Wohnung ist schön gelegen, mit Blick von der Terrasse auf einen Teil von Capri. Sie ist geräumig, sehr sauber und lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Von hier aus kann man Restaurants problemlos auch zu Fuß erreichen und die delikate italienische Küche genießen. Auch Plätze für Cocktails wie zum Apero erreicht man sehr gut. Einkaufsgelegenheiten gibt es auch genug. Michelina und ihre Tochter Graziella sind herzlich, äußerst freundlich und kommunikativ. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Obwohl wir wegen verspätetem Flug erst mitten in der Nacht ankamen, wurden wir so herzlich von der Familie empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist nagelneu, super gepflegt und sauber und es wurde an alles gedacht - bis zu Kaffeetabs, Spülmaschinentabs und Waschmittel ist alles vorhanden. Der Blick vom Balkon ist umwerfend. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und unheimlich bemüht und stehen immer für einen Rat und Tipps zur Verfügung. Zum Abschied gab es nochmals Limonen aus eigenem Anbau und selbstgemachte Limonenmarmelade. Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt!

Absolutely delighted with this beautiful home near the Sorrento area but outside the tourist madness! Stefano (Annamaria’s brother) looked after us, organised trips and advised on what to do in the local area. He was lovely and kind, we loved looking after Sophia the cat and watching the sunset from the hot tub. We also loved being able to have a shower in the utility room when using the tub. The garden smelled of jasmine, and we had some lemons for drinks. All the little touches made our stay feel like home from home; delicious homemade pasta sauces, snacks and breakfast items, coffee and tea, water, limoncello! this meant we didn’t have to stress about finding a shop for basics on a Sunday when they close early. It was so lovely and peaceful, and there are some amazing restaurants in the square, the farm tour is well worth doing, also there are lovely local restaurants that cook real Italian food and not as expensive as Sorrento. I am so sad to leave! :( Thanks Stefano!

Really enjoyed our stay. a bit of an oasis compared with the crowds elsewhere on the coast. wonderful restaurant around the corner (downstairs) pretty sunsets at the Marina (make sure the busses are running to take you back up).

I wish everyone could experience the beauty of this place! I consider myself particular, especially about cleanliness, but this surpassed my expectations. The home is clearly cherished by the owners. The ceramic tile is beautiful and it makes the home so pretty. The art is also spectacular. But nothing compares to the views! Our family of 4 spent 8 days here and we spent hours on the balconies and patios and by the pool just enjoying the views. The nearby village is adorable and there are some great restaurants as well. Chiara is just awesome! She met us at arrival to help with luggage and she gave us recommendations for where to eat and find supplies. She is wonderful and we really enjoyed getting to know her over an evening meal. I honestly have never found leaving a vacation home so difficult. It is large and airy and has a joy that you just feel while you are there. We found the many steps to be helpful in working off all the great food!

Elvia’s place is amazing! From the moment you walk in and look out at the deck, it will take away your breath away. We loved the location! It is away from the crowds, plus swimming right below your deck, a lovely walking bath to Massa Lubrense Harbor with restaurants, our favorite Angelos, plus you can pick up a private boat or a group tour of Amalfi! Basically everything you need for your adventure in Amalfi! And one VERY important detail, Elvia has a beautiful beachfront home that welcomes you with everything you need to make your stay perfect. Thank you, Elvia! We hope to be back one day!

If you’re planning to stay in Furore, don’t skip this place! The level of service, care and attention he and his mom provide is something I’ve never had before in an Airbnb. The view is spectacular and the home is extremely comfortable. You have everything that you need for a cozy night in or a 10 minute walk to an incredible restaurant. You can walk down the steps to Fiordo di Furore or even brave an hour walk to get to the Path of The Gods hike and walk to Positano (highly recommend if you enjoy hiking and breathtaking views). Overall 10/10 stay!

There was no better way to end my family and I’s trip to Italy than staying at the Vervece house. The view from this accommodation speaks for itself… the area on the balcony is absolutely stunning! Our host, Luca, was wonderful. He was very kind, helpful, and a good communicator. This apartment is newly renovated, comfortable, and has a nice kitchen area with everything you would need for your stay. We liked how it was right near a bus stop and is a short bus ride to downtown Sorrento, which can connect you to both busses and ferries for places like Capri and Positano. We also enjoyed the short walk to the town for restaurants, food markets, and shops. Thank you Luca for a wonderful stay!

Loren was an amazing host. She was better than a five star concierge. She made reservations for all our tours and was always very responsive. Her place is heavenly. A whole house with outdoor area for dinning or just sit down overlooking the bay of Naples. Amazing views of mount Vesuvius and Capri.
