We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It was located in a more local area about 30-40 minutes from downtown Chania. We were surrounded by stunning views in the mountains. It was quiet, peaceful, and private. Sofia greeted us with such a friendly welcome and a delicious home cooked meal. She was very responsive too. We also enjoyed her local restaurant recommendations. The home itself is beautiful, it was lovely learning about its history and how beautifully traditional the home was kept yet equipped with many updated amenities. Note that renting a car is a must! We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Andreas and Anna’s place was in a perfect peaceful location with beautiful views. The apartment was very clean and had all necessary amenities. Andreas provided wonderful recommendations, and was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

I had a great stay at this villa! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with, check-in was a breeze. The location was perfect! close to everything I needed. I really appreciated the little touches, like fresh towels and coffee, and cleaning supplies, I would definitely stay here again!

This Villa was outstanding in every way. The photos did not do it justice as the outside area was far more extensive than it appears. Both Artemis and Niki were very helpful especially when had a sandstorm after which they came and cleaned up the entire area including the pool. The local restaurant Eleanoras which is an easy walk away was good well worth a visit but book first. The two Supermarkets in Plaka were well stocked and gave us all we needed. Almyrida is also worth a visit to sit in a restaurant by the sea and the beach is shallow and sandy. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this Villa.

We had an incredible stay with our family. The photos do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. There were many lovely welcome food and drinks that we really appreciated. We had many activities and family in the area so we were out and about but were always looking forward to coming back to enjoy the house, the pool, and the gorgeous view. We also loved the hot tub when we got a little chilled from swimming since it was a bit early in season. We made sure to have a day to just do that. We used the indoor/outdoor theatre one night and that was really fun. All the rooms and the kitchen were perfectly appointed. Everything was so well thought out. We can’t wait to come again and stay longer and have time to use the outdoor kitchen, the gorgeous dining room and enjoy the beautiful pool and view again. Amazing villa in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Host Maria was super flexible, understanding and helpful when our plans changed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. We had the perfect stay at Villa Avrilla and Dimitris is a friendly and responsive host who helpfully navigated our complicated check in and check out requests. The Villa is very well equipped and stylish just like the photos and with plenty of lovely outdoor spaces and a great pool. The beds and showers are of high quality. A lovely welcome hamper and a bottle of wine was really appreciated. The location is fantastic, feeling very private but with shops, tavernas and a great beach just a stroll away. We would definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending to other guests.

The villa itself is pure luxury - spotlessly clean, tastefully designed, and equipped with everything one could possibly need for a relaxing and carefree stay. What truly made our holiday special, however, was the incredible hospitality of our host, Panagoula. Even before our arrival, she was in touch with me, patiently answering all our questions and making us feel welcome from the start. We were greeted with such warmth at the airport, and upon arrival at the villa, we found delightful culinary surprises and a beautiful selection of fresh fruit waiting for us. The mid-stay cleaning service after four days was a lovely touch, and we are especially grateful for Panagoula’s tireless support after the stormy weather – and for the delicious, healthy meal she brought us during the week! We cannot have asked for a better place to stay in Chania. The house is a gorgeous villa perfect for a large family vacation. The location is on a breathtaking hill overlooking the city and old Harbor. There are tons of windows letting in natural light. You can be an old town in eight minutes by car or about 45 minutes walking. There are plenty of local mini markets and restaurants nearby. Michalis was a model host, and gave us plenty of recommendations for day trips, restaurants, treats, activities, and gave us very kind gifts throughout our stay. If we ever return to Crete, we will be staying here again!

We felt right at home. The incredibly lovely owners and helpers of the house have contributed to this, in combination with this great place to stay. We had the most wonderful stay at Nimar Villas. We were a group of 7 and all agreed that it was a beautiful villa and had an incredible week. The view and sunsets are breathtaking, everything looks exactly like the photos if not better. Great host, made sure we had everything we needed and super responsive. Location is great but you must have a car if planning to leave the villa often. Would highly recommend and would love to return already!

absolutely loved staying here. the views were gorgeous. had a small hiccup with the water when we checked in but as soon as I messaged the host the water was up and working within 15 minutes. very responsive and very helpful. definitely recommend!

We had such a fantastic time as a group of 8! Tony was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole stay, he made our vacation a breeze. There was plenty of space with the two villas and the views are incredible. The villas were well equipped to be able to cook in. Location is remote, very close to excellent nearby restaurants and easy drive over to Chania. Would highly recommend, thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! Location was superb, a great place for exploring easy reach of Chania and Rethymno. The town has 3 eating places, Monica’s was the highlight! Airbnb its self was so peaceful, with amazing views the outside space had been thought through with lovely dining areas and sunbeds, it gets the sun from midmorning to night. Would recommend to anyone, loved it!

Would give it 10 stars if possible! We have just completed a week in Stelios’s Vila and we can’t recommend it enough! It was a detox in all ways - location is perfect, in a beautiful olive grove, giving you the perfect balance between privacy and peace. It is close to shops and tavernas, and just under 10 minutes from Loutraki and Marathi beaches. The house is very well equipped and a lot of thought and attention have been put into the layout inside and out.

Fantastic stay in a great villa. Swimming pool on the roof is fabulous. Very well equipped property with everything you might need. Beds are really comfortable with ample air conditioning units in the rooms. Great location for touring Crete in the car, but a bit far out from Chania if you want to walk into the town. Taxis were readily available. Host is really helpful with recommendations.

Great stay at this lovely traditional villa, everything you could want for a relaxing, stress free holiday was available, plus some lovely welcome gifts. The villa is clearly a well loved family home and was immaculately clean and well presented. Constantine is a superb host - friendly, welcoming and helpful - instantly responded to any questions we had and sent us some great recommendations for eating out, beaches etc. We have no hesitation in recommending Kermes Oak for a memorable holiday in Crete ! Oasis in nature, gorgeous villa with a pool overlooking the sea and hills. We absolutely loved our stay! The house is beautifully decorated, well equiped, there is everything you might need and really comfy bed :-) We loved the pool that has an amazing view. We enjoyed different seating options - 2 terrases, armchairs by the pool, or in shade under the tree.. Nikos and Maria are absolutely adorable! They made sure we had everything we needed. They even bought toys for our kids to play with and prepare new toys for the pool. You feel completely in the nature, in the hills, but you are still 2min from the main road to go places. We will definitely come back!!! :-)
