The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. Everything was neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. Our kids loved the ping-pong table and lower hangout area. This place was perfect for our family to spread out and relax.

We stayed at Ken’s place for our bachelor trip which was a great time! The home was in a great quiet neighbourhood and close to the freeway to get around. The house itself was very large with adequate space for all our needs. We especially loved the pool and the large living room which were great spots for hanging out after our hikes at Mount Rainier. The place could have been a bit cleaner and maybe a bit more put together but nonetheless the house served our purposes well and we would definitely recommend this place to others as well!

My buddies and I stayed here for a weekend for a bachelor trip. The house was very tucked away and you had all the privacy you needed. We had such a great time! The hot tub was definitely a highlight. The house was also spotless and seemed brand new. Ryan was super easy to communicate with and made things much simpler for us. I would suggest this place for anybody just trying to get away and have a great time with either friends or a significant other.

Jessica's place is perfect for a family get-together with generously sized bedrooms and comfy shared spaces. This was our second time staying there, and we hope to stay there again whenever there is a family occasion in Seattle. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool in the backyard, and we also loved being close to the lake. We especially appreciated being able to borrow the kayak and paddle boards.

The Gamble house was one of the most beautiful and peaceful settings we’ve stayed at in our 25years of annual girl’s trip. The views were incredible, the location was perfect for a scenic drive to Poulsbo or Olympic National Park. The home’s layout was perfect for families or in our case, a girls trip. The heated pool was a big bonus we didn’t expect for the Pacific Northwest but we enjoyed it in the late afternoon after sightseeing. The host Allison was communicative and had great details for a smooth check-in and was quick to respond with any questions we had. Would highly recommend. We would definitely put this listing on our return list!

The house looks just as pictured and is beautifully decorated! You can tell there was a lot of thought put into it such as child safe locks on the toilet and outlets, shoe horn, slippers by the door, and lint roller hung up by the door. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Best part was it was extremely convenient and close to the airport which made the commute to our early flight a breeze. Only thing that could have been better is if I could get responses via messaging, otherwise, they were responsive by telephone.

I cannot say enough good things about our hosts but also to their cleaning team! House was very homey, lots of extra bedding and towels. All the kitchen things needed to cook big meals for my family! And wow! The games and being baby friendly was so nice! The scenery beautiful and private location! I would recommend anyone with a family to book this home and don’t look elsewhere!

Really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was perfect for our family of 3 and situated in a private and beautiful location. The place was clean and well kept. Amenities and attention to details were on point. James is a great host throughout our 1 week stay and was very accommodating and responsive. Would definitely consider staying here again!

This was my second time staying at this amazing home. The home is very nice, new and spotless. It’s a very comfortable place to stay. And it’s right on the water with spectacular views of Mt Ranier. It’s also close to Sunrise Beach Park that has fun hiking trails. And the town of Gig Harbor is a gem. Both of my stays were perfect. And it’s only about 600 steps from parking to the house - and it’s a beautiful walk along the water. I can’t recommend this house strongly enough.

We had a great stay. The house was very comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed walking to local establishments nearby. I stayed here with my husband and 4 children. It would be a more difficult space to stay at if you were two couples or families sharing, but for our family it was perfect. There is one bedroom down in the basement, there are two bedrooms right off the living room, one is ensuite and the other bedroom has a jack and jill bathroom that opens up to the kitchen and is the shared bathroom for the rest of the bedrooms. Upstairs in the open loft there are two beds. The beds were all very comfortable with very comfortable bedding and pillows. There were quite a few nice books for the kids upstairs in the loft and a couple of games downstairs. If you are sensitive to light, I would suggest that you bring eye masks for sleeping. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was adorable and worked well for my family of 4. My kids were completely infatuated with the water access and having high and low tide. They used the kayaks a lot looking for seals in the lagoon. They also loved hunting for crabs in the evenings. It was peaceful being able to relax on the deck with the views after long days of exploring the Pacific Northwest!

Was a great and well maintained area. Would highly recommend staying. Beautiful and clean place :) for sure coming back again!

We had a great stay at Miles's place. It was everything we hoped it would be. Just like a home away from home. The house was clean and cozy and perfect for a couple who want to spend time in Tacoma. We picked this location because it was close to where our family lives, so we could visit them frequently, go for walks at Point Ruston and Point Defiance Park and visit Proctor and the other fun neighborhoods in the area. Excellent Supermarkets, too.

My daughter & I got to celebrate our 21st and 46th here. The house is beautiful and magical. We loved spending our stay stepping back in time to days filled with fairytales and make believe adventures. We even spent a day “troll hunting” the Thomas Dambo trolls in the area! Such a cool stay🥰.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at Marco's charming home. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm and welcoming—just like home. We only wish we could have stayed longer and would gladly book this place again without hesitation.

2nd visit to this wonderful house. Great for families with teens or young adults - between the pool table, the kayaks and the space itself. We'll be back!

We were very fortunate that Renee’s property was available for the 4 days we needed. This was the end of a very busy 3 weeks in the US, and the peaceful house with a deck on the water with seals and otters playing was just what we needed to unwind before the long journey home to Australia. Renee is a lovely host who kept in contact to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. So thankful for the opportunity.

My husband and I loved this place. Hats off to their cleaning crew. The place was so clean we couldnt help but feel comfortable. Furniture-gorgeous. Showers- gorgeous. Bright lighting. Crisp white sheets. Beautiful kitchen with nice appliances and all the cookware you need. Right down the street from all the restaurants on Ruston Way. 😍 Truly wished we booked a longer stay. Thank you for having us.

We had a lovely time in Vashon staying at Kat’s rental. The views were incredible and loved the access to the water and beach directly from the patio. Location was great and just a short drive into town where there are restaurants and shops. Kat was a very proactive host who gave great instructions on how to find the place, how to get in, and checking in with us to make sure our trip was perfect. We would definitely stay again!

Just as another review suggested, I hesitate to write such a glowing review because this spot is a gem that I hope remains a bit undiscovered. The home and gardens are nothing short of magic. We did not want to leave.
