WOW sums it up! Our family was just blown away with the villa and the beautiful view. We are a family of 17......9 grandkids, parents and Grammy/ Gramps. The place was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. Stephen was there to show us around and the ladies had cold drinks for us on arrival. I really can't say enough about the place. Yesenia and Yeneri made a beautiful tasty breakfast for us each morning. 4 of us are celiacs and they were very careful to provide us with what we could eat. Esteban was wonderful and was around to help with anything we needed. He showed us different things around the property, turned on the hot tub when needed and took us on a hike to the waterfall and river. He was great with the kids showing them butterflies and such and played toucan sounds on the stereo to attract the toucans. Sophia and Caleb did great jobs as well The rooms were perfect with amazing views and the garden house was great. Thanks from all of us......amazing memories!❤️

This home is incredible. It is absolutely worth the trip. We were looking for something in mid or southern pacific coast, ultimately decided on uvita for a less touristy vibe but still close to lots of activities. It was the right choice. The home is beautiful and so inviting. Licho and his wife are incredible hosts. We had them cook almost every meal. Everything was delicious! It was very appreciated because we were so tired at the end of each day! There is a waterfall 5 minutes away with great jumping platforms. There are delicious restaurants near by, and the beach was about 7 minute drive. There was tons of wildfire in the backyard, with plenty of visits from monkeys. We hooked everything through Licho including our tours, rental car, and ride to and from SJO. You can do great excursions from town which is a 5 minute drive. If we’re ever back in Costa Rica we would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing! We’ve done this trip in various locations across costa rica and Brian’s place was by far the best, especially for larger groups. The dreamy outdoor kitchen had all the best appliances and tools you could ever need. The pool and lounge area felt like what you would experience at a high end resort. The music hookup and lighting at night was perfect for relaxing and breathtaking sunsets and nighttime conversations. Some of us could even get in a morning workout given the great gym area available and would end it with a cold plunge. I literally can’t think of anything else we could ever need! Beyond being an absolute paradise, Brian went above and beyond to welcome us and ensure we were comfortable. It’s rare these days that the host is as invested in their guests’ experience as Brian, and it’s clear that he really wants his guests to feel at home and welcome. He always promptly answered any questions and was eager to help and give recommendations. Can’t wait to come back!

I really nice well equipped jungle house with a nice working hot tub. Very interesting and unique experience I would recommend it.

Pasamos unos días en familia muy cómodos y relajados! La casa de Sam es muy confortable, los muebles de alta gama, camas y sábanas facilitan un descanso reparador. El condominio es muy bonito, y seguro, las piscinas, jacuzzi estuvieron solo para nosotros, al igual que el área social, y parrilla a nuestra disposición cerca a la piscina. Fue muy conveniente que a la entrada del condominio y parte del complejo, se encuentren supermercado, farmacia y varios restaurantes. Muchas playas cerca, Manuel Antonio a una hora. Recomiendo completamente la casa de Sam, en un segundo piso y bajando las escaleras encuentras una piscina para seguir disfrutando incluso después de un día de playa. Esperamos regresar pronto!

Laurent’s Airbnb was in a great location and perfect for our family of 9 who was visiting Costa Rica for a family wedding! The walk-ability to nearby restaurants and shopping was a plus! We did walk to the beach but took a taxi back as it was a bit hilly to walk back! Beautiful views, lots of space for all of us and Laurent helped us with transportation to and from the airport. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had and the pool was refreshing! Thx, Laurent, for allowing us to vacation at your home!

A stunning house in the perfect location! This was a great spot from which to explore this part of the coast. As other reviewers have said, the drive to the property is steep but paved, and there is a long set of stairs from the parking spot to the house. The house is beautifully decorated and has all of the appliances you'll need. The property manager was available when we needed him and gave us great recommendations to local restaurants. We'd stay here again!

Before I dive into how wonderful this home is, here’s a tip: rent a 4x4 vehicle for your stay. The house is located up a mountain, and Ubers are extremely expensive—$30–$35 just to get to the base of the mountain, and up to $80 one way to visit the nearby waterfalls. Planning ahead will save you a lot of money and give you more freedom to explore. Now, about the house—it’s absolutely stunning. Spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, it truly felt like a luxury retreat. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Nothing was overlooked. The bedrooms are cozy and serene, with super soft sheets and very comfortable beds—we all slept soundly every night. The bathrooms are large, featuring double sinks, walk-in closets, and showers designed to feel like you’re bathing outdoors—with views even from the shower! If you’re looking for a beautiful, clean, & peaceful home with jaw-dropping views, your search is over!

From the booking to check out it was very easy and clear communication between us. The house had everything we needed and it was very spacious and comfortable for the amount of guests. It was very clean and we didn’t have any kind of issues. Would definitely recommend!

It’s hard to sum up my feelings about this place. It was so special and wonderful. It’s hard to describe. I also hesitate about giving it so much praise because I worry that next time I want to book it it’ll be full! The place was perfect. It was right on a private beach at the end of a private road. The water was a perfect temperature. The sand was soft. The ground Keeper was so friendly and very helpful. He was very kind to my kids and we felt right at home! Also a huge added bonus were his dogs. My kids miss our dogs when we travel and they were thrilled to find dogs here waiting for us when we arrived. There were limitless activities for us to do. We could lay around on the beach or swim in the pool or do excursions that were close by. This part of Costa Rica is extremely beautiful! I would stay in a place like this over a resort any day.

We’ve lived in Costa Rica and been to almost every corner of the country. Natalia’s property and guest house is one of a kind and incredibly special. Only thing to be aware of is that there is only A/C in the master bedroom and it gets quite humid (expected). Wonderful place to stay and be truly immersed in the south coast.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Castillo. The pool is tucked away into the canopy a bit, which we ended up appreciating as it gave more respite from the heat. The taxi drivers know the house well because of the steep driveway that only a few drivers without 4x4’s will attempt; the walk is serious so if you’re walking wear something you’re willing to sweat in! The housekeepers do a fantastic job and somehow you barely see them. We would definitely stay there again!

Aufenthalt für Naturliebhaber und Naturfotografen! Sehr ruhige Umgebung mit Familiäre Atmosphäre. Johan und Elke sind sehr gute und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Angel nur in der Trockenzeit am Rio Parrita, da sonst das Wasser durch die Regenfälle sehr trüb ist. Sehr schöne Flussausläufer mit vielen Wasservögeln oberhalb der Schule.

Book. This. Place. It was an absolutely AMAZING experience for your family. We spent almost a week here with our 6,4, & 2 year old and it was pure magic. Also, don’t think twice about it - get the meals, they were sensational. The property was immaculate, we started every morning with a hike and swim to the waterfall. The kiddos got to work on the farm, and the WiFi was us to check in on a few things worked great. The instructions to get to the farm was great. Yes, it’s a trek into the mountains but it’s well worth the trip. Couldn’t not recommend this place enough. We can’t wait to be back. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Paradise found is an apt name. What a beautiful home in a beautiful place. I stayed for 4 nights with my wife and 3 teenage boys. The home was clean and well stocked with all the items we needed to make meals in the kitchen. Jose, the caretaker, met us at check in and showed us the lay of the land. We had access to the garage that had surf boards and body boards. The pool was clean and warm, and we had fun jumping in and splashing around. The beach across the street is a close to private as you can get. It goes on for miles each direction. The only people we saw were the occasional local fishing or some folks taking a stroll on horseback. Waves were huge and fun to play in. Watch out for rip tides! The directions to the home were great. The house is located between Jaco and Manuel Antonio. Both fun spots to explore. Thank you Mary and Jose for making our family trip unforgettable. We cant wait to return.

We didn't want this vacation to end! This place was so beautiful and quiet. The pool, bar and outdoor kitchen were perfect. So well designed. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking the grounds and picking up fresh mangoes, coconuts, limes, starfruit and bananas. The wonderful scent of the ylang ylang trees was everywhere. Absolutely amazing. The house was spacious and we loved the doors of every room and the beautiful arched windows. Great architecture! The towels smelt fresh and were of great quality. The welcome book was truly helpful. Any question we had - the answer was in there. Very well done! One week was just not enough.

We had a life changing truly wonderful experience here. We are a family of four with boys aged 10 and 12. I can't recommend this house more highly for a couple or family. It is right in the rainforest and we saw Coati (a type of Costa Rican racoon), monkeys (we had to wait until day 10 for this treat!), a tayrah, toucans and much more. Augustin and Kendry (a husband and wife team) act as the concierge for the house and could not have been more friendly and helpful. Augustin met us very late at night near the village of Portalon and escorted us to the house. This was invaluable as we'd travelled for over 24 hours and driven 3 hours in the dark from the airport. We had a problem with the AC but Augustin resolved it within hours. We've written a ton of recommendations in the guest book so if you go look out for these. Thank you Kendry and Augustin for helping to make our stay so special, Warm wishes, Frances and Gareth.

I can't say enough good things about the rental property and the Two Costa Rica Vacation staff. Jorge, our primary contact was FANTASTIC!!! He was responsive and easy to reach with any issues/questions/scheduling needs. The house and property were top notch. We were only there for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved our relaxing stay at this slice of Costa Rican paradise. The jungle sounds, manicured gardens, jungle trails and the view of the ocean below were spectacular. Probably our favourite part was the daily visits by a family of howler monkeys. We already plan to return.

This house is beautiful. It had a fully stocked kitchen, lots of indoor and outdoor space, and feels very private. The pool was great and the outdoor shower and bathroom made cleaning off sand and keeping the house and pool clean easy. The beach felt like a private beach with almost no other people as far as the eye can see. The surf is strong, but the kids had a great time boogie boarding, but do take caution not to go out too far. There are lots of friendly dogs in the neighborhood that roam, but they didn’t bother us. It is about 20 mins from town, so expect to have to drive a bit for amenities. That was fine for us because we were looking for peace and quiet and got it! Comfortable and beautiful house. I recommend.

This home is absolutely magical! Perched atop a mountain, it offers sweeping panoramic views of the ocean and the iconic Whale’s Tail beach—truly one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen. Surrounded by treetops, we were treated to daily visits from howler monkeys, toucans, and other vibrant bird species, making the experience feel like a luxury treehouse retreat. The house itself is beautifully designed and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The negative edge pool is a showstopper—floating there while taking in the endless ocean view was unforgettable. What truly sets this property apart is the host. Incredibly helpful and attentive, he provided concierge-level service, arranging our transportation to and from the airport, a rental car delivered right to the house, and even a private chef who cooked us some amazing meals. We could not have asked for more a better experience.
